WZCW Discussion Thread

It's cool that you love writing with Bull, that's always good to hear that you love writing with your character but I wouldn't want to be known as the worst person out there. There are much more worse characters out there that will take the cake.

I know there are some worst wrestlers out there. I've just really don't mind it anymore. If you let people get to you then you lost the war and the battle.

I know I'm breaking my own rule for a minute here but uh...:

Official WZCW Handbook said:
WZCW Shows:

Meltdown:

The flagship show of WZCW
Normally posted up on Sunday
Home of the EurAsian Division

Ascension:

The secondary show
Normally posted up on Monday
Home of the Elite X Division

Aftershock:

WZCW's testing grounds (new applicants start here)
Normally posted up on Monday or Tuesday
Home of the Mentorship Program
Non-Staff members can write matches upon request

Note: During a PPV cycle, no other shows will be ran that week (with the exception of Aftershock should there be too many roster members to fit on the card) and will normally be posted on a Sunday or Monday.

I think a few of us were confused about these points, myself included. Meltdown is officially a Sunday release, Ascension is officially a Monday release and Aftershock is a Monday/Tuesday release (pending on the writers).

Apologies for all the fighting then. I feel kinda silly now.

Yeah but despite the massive amounts of feedback people give to you, you end up making the same mistakes over and over again. It's one step forward for you and 3 steps back. I get that you are alright being the comedy jobber but don't ask for feedback if you actually enjoy being the fed's punching bag.

That's why I'm done getting feedback. I will offer if anyone wants from the jobber.

I'm not going to get involved too much in the Show debacle. I think Falks handled it well enough and while I dont appreciate the attitude, I do see the argument.albeit incorrect and uninformed.
You guys need to remember that it used to be a lot worse and we have always had that in mind. A day delay for any event from a pay per view is absolutely unacceptable to us now.

Any issue with how we are doing things needs to be brought up by PM to anyone on creative, but for what its' worth Dave is on holiday....

I was under the (correct) impression that Meltdown was now a Sunday release. Needless to say when I got wind of all the "delay" complaints, I was somewhat confused.

Nevertheless. Carry on, ladies and gentlemen, business will henceforth commence as usual, please keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times.

For what it's worth guys, we are only one match away from MD but even if that came in now, it's nowhere near as polished as it could be. I'm going to do what I can before I have to leave at 12pm.

Update: The main event is written by Showtime but he crashed a few hours ago, I'm not sure what time he went to bed. Once he is up, it shouldn't be too long from there. It's basically ready to go once his match is finished.

Heh, well fuck me... When did the show days change? I don't care really but I'd've thought there would be some kind of announcement or fanfare...

At some point in the 20 straight weeks of late shows it was quietly changed to reflect the reality that it hasn't been up on a Saturday in 5 months.

Ultimately though, this is for the best. I think, as a team, we have maximum time over the weekend, so it just makes the most sense to have it a Sunday post date. Barring a disaster, I don't think it will ever slip from here.

I agree, I think that not only is it a more realistic timetable but it also means you guys aren't trying to rush out Meltdown on a Saturday evening.
