WZCW Discussion Thread

When you read my RP, you'll see why I'm apologising. Apart from when I've been online, I've had no time to write this thing & I feel a bit "bleh" for it. Sorry.

I wouldn't worry too much. I've been on holiday for two weeks with occasional access to a laptop. Figured I'd wait till the last few days to do a bit of RP planning, then as I was due to get back early morning today, use the day to write it up and edit.

Yeah...didn't quite factor in that I'd be ridiculously ill for the last three days of my holiday to the point of minor hallucination. Have spent the last three days (apart from forcing myself out to buy a present for my girlfriend yesterday and making it to the plane this morning) in bed. I've got some of an RP, but it's not good, and I have very little motivation to finish it. I was debating at the end of last week asking for an extension just in case I didn't get chance to work on it till I got home; really regretting the decision not to do so now.

So yeah, congrats on the win in advance! :p

Damn it WZCW. Battlefield just released new DLC I got to splurge and ignore my Girlfriend with. But instead I'm sitting here writing up my RP for this week. Damn you!

Hmm.... I'm wondering which of the various interviewers would be likely to host an interview show on WZCW.com - I'm inclined to think Klamour or Kensworth - I was wondering if WZCW had an equivalent for Scott Stanford, Mark Leeming maybe but he's not actually an NPC...

If you're no-showing/not doing much, PM me. I have an idea we could take to creative, but it's sort of dead-end. I've always wanted to plan something with another superstar storyline/singles wise, this could work.

Clarification question, gents:

Is there still no limit as to how many posts I can make in my RP thread as long as it is not for a PPV? Almost got the first part of the RP done, and wanted to submit it here in a few while I'm on my current break. Then, I would type up and submit part 2 tonight.

Help an old-timer out.

I'm half disappointed and half pleased that Pancake did not go with my suggested yo mama joke

"Yo mamas so fat I had to roll her in flour and look for the wet spot."

That or:

"Yo mamas so fat I had to slap her on the thigh and ride the wave in."

I can say with pride that this is the best RP I've ever done. Gelgarin gave me some awesome feedback at the PPV, and i tried my damnedest to improve on all cylinders.

Needed to get the RP up today in case I am not about 2mrw. Nothing spectacular and retreading old ground but I think it works well with not only Barbosa's history but also with where he was as a character the last time we saw him at KC.

My last bit of feedback was, uhh, mixed to say the least...

I'll offer some snippets - each quote comes from a different person.

"Absolutely Brilliant"

"one of the better RPs I've read in a long time"

"I can actually read a story, I like that a lot"

"It dragged a little but meshed well with your Partners"

"the worst piece I've read in a long time"

So yeah... I won but some of the negative feedback I found kind of bemusing especially considering the rest of the feedback I recieved. (Some of these quotes are taken out of context to an extent, at least to an extent where I'm comfortable posting this and not making it obvious who gave me what feedback - This is not posted to start an argument with or about anyone - I'm posting it because I find it interesting seeing the vast differences between the feedback I recieved.)
