Mr Fantastic isn't a Nazi, he's just a genius who is too smart fr his own good. He completely disregards personal emotion and subjective opinions if the numbers are right. If Fantastic's statistics showed that rebelling would have been the better option, he would have been more than happy to follow suit.

And for the record, Civil War was awesome.

I know nothing of comics, but I'm inclined to believe Pancake's opinion on just about anything over Talon's.

Great, now we're gonna do some DC dick-swinging aren't we?

Lulz, anyway, I think Marvel Civil War was the most botched comic book storyline in the past 2 decades. The whole damn thing was filled with potential but no, we get Iron Man & Mr. Fantastic turning into fucking nazis.
you do realize as superheroes they are supposed to uphold the law right? They may not do it 100% legally but that is what they do and becoming state sponsored (I think that's what they did It's been a while since I've read it) was now the law.

I'm sure that's what was going through their mind when they 'turned in to fucking Nazis' as you put it.

They were literally HUNTING DOWN any one that didn't register. Sounds a little bit like Nazism to me.

Also, goddamn you Harthan.

The ones that didn't register were breaking the law.

What is it Superheroes do children?

That's right stop people from breaking the law.

Nazi's hunted people down only because they were different. Stop trying to compare the 2 they are NOTHING alike what so ever

Like Milenko said, they believed in their cause and actually had merit to it. The best way to put it was something like this.

The Pro-Reg hero's were Lawful Good

The Anti-Reg were Neutral Good

Guys like Iron Man and Fantastic believed that a government sanctioned Hero unit would prevent younger, untrained hero's from making fatal errors. While guys like Captain America and The Thing believed that having Superhero's register to the government would cause them to be used as weapons for their respective Armies, and sacrifice their alter-egos.

Both groups had actual merit to their beliefs.

Plus, I can never really forgive Marvel for One More Day/Brand New Day. I know people say it fucking everywhere, but that easily one of the shittiest storylines in comics history. It's like Marvel wanted to make an answer to DC's "Countdown To Final Crisis".

Anyone remember when the WWE tried to make the Undertaker comic book? That's the only comic I've ever read. Well, I like the comic strip "Brevity," but I highly doubt that counts.

Marvel really wrote itself into a hole after doing 6 different universes for pretty much every single Super hero in Marvel. To be fair, I couldn't imagine trying to find a way to successfully tie 6 branches of the same hero together.

You really had to make that sig just so you could piss me off & laugh at me some more?

Ugh.

EDIT: Whatevs. Anyone wanna talk about the DC New 52 reboot?

I is confused now.

Pankcake PM me what the fuck he's talking about so as not to clutter up the Thread with it and piss Ty off

Over it.

Again, anyone wanna talk about the New 52? I think it's actually been pretty good so far, a lot better than I thought it was gonna be. My favorite has to be Batman by Scott Snyder. Seriously, I can't wait for Night Of Owls to come out.

I just got home.

Some guy at the bar had a Boots to Asses shirt, I talked to him a little because he noticed my R-Truth shirt under my button up. I'm not sure what he was drinking but he had 6 or 7 of them, he got pretty fucked up. He gets a phone call and his ringtone is the Rock's theme song, and I'm laughing a little to myself as he is basically yelling into his phone. As he is leaving he announces to the whole bar "I'm leaving to go home to lay the smackdown on my wife, with my penis" :lmao:
I lost it

Good Meltdown. Looking forward to AS and AF.

@Yazloz. Seriously that's awesome. If anyone I know liked wrestling I would use that line myself.

Also as a DC fan I didn't dislike Civil War. I will literally argue for days that DC is the superior company. (Superman aside, he's boring as all hell.) It was better than Grabt Morrisons "Final Crisis" I have every issue of every spin off. And issues of every book that linked in. I literally have the entire story right at my fingertips. It's not great.
