I reckon I'll tell them about my experiences, good and bad, then point out that rightly or wrongly it's still illegal and if they're prepared to face the consequences 100% then it's their choice. I'm going to be the "you're not an idiot, and can make your own choices but you have to know that actions have consequences" dad by the sounds of it. Not sure if that's good or bad.

Seriously though I feel you there. I think if I have kids I'm gonna be honest I will tell them what I have done, my experiences with it and its your choice but you will face the consequences of it alone if you get caught

Nope, I only ever smoked weed. But I agreed to take care of some friends when they did things like shrooms. What hapenned to them was NOT good. Also I've seen guys who smoked too much too fast and ended up going bananas.

Cubs have a ton to like in the future. As I've said before, Epstein is one of the best executives in the business, he has a ton of monetary resources to work with being in a large market, and he's hard at work stacking the farm system. Not to mention that he broke the Curse of the Bambino, so why not the Billy Goat's Curse? I would feel very comfortable predicting very serious contention for the Cubs within the next decade.

You better share with me. I don't need much, two puffs and pass to you for the rest of the blunt.
As long as you extole the virtues of moderation and staying away from anything harder than weed (Heroin =/= good craic) and keep an eye out for signs that they've got a problem (addiction =/= good craic), I don't see much wrong with that attitude. Not inherently worse than the blanket statement that all drugs are evil and Weed will spoil your soul. At least they're likely to know what the fuck they're doing first and likely to talk about it with you.
