It's almost scary how good Shotaro is man.

He is better than I am, I got the win for us last week but I think he is better than me, its a big reason he took the role as the leader in the team.

I'd gladly be Shotaro's bitch instead.

Thanks very much guys. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to hear stuff like that! Remember though Yaz, I've got six years on you bro and as you said, you got the win last week.

Please, teach me your ways of epic RP making.

lol - umm I honestly don't think I'm that good, there are certainly a lot of people in the fed that are better than I am. (I agree with Milenko and Pancake, both are giving you good advice)

If you genuinely want some advice though here it is. Find a style that fits you, I've read a lot of autobiographies of guys like Jericho and Foley both of whom can write. I also read a lot of gothic horror (Lovecraft and Poe FTW!) So for me writing in the first person works. If you read a lot of comics, go for a more comic book style, short punchy sentences with a lot of description to go along with it.

I apologise for the pretentiousness of the above post. T'will not happen again.

I am a comic book nut, but writing it as a movie script or a playwright just works so much better for me. It is hard to explain.

I know what you mean, in all honesty I think there are very few genres for which first person works. I loathe most fiction written that way (really good modern authors like Brett Easton Ellis for example, I just can't get into their books because of it)

Also what comics do you read? I've got several on subscription at my friendly local comic book store.

I have a ton of Hal Jordan Green Lantern Comic books back when I was a wee little Pancake. But I haven't gotten a comic since. I have Marvel Zombies saved on my computer from a torrent along with the Walking Dead. But nothing on paper.

I've always wondered is Marvel Zombies any good?

I read a lot of autobiographies so I think thats why the first person style comes so naturally to me.

My college classes had me doing all sorts of different styles, but for me, I enjoy becoming the character I am writing

I found it to be a great read. It is really dark and depressing though. And for once Black Panther finds a way to shine as the main event in the comic book considering he is one of the last Hero's not eaten alive or turned into a Zombie.

So does it have an actual story too it or is just a quick little mini series zombie beat em up?

It has a pretty decent plot. Though it does bounce around a lot learning the origins of the plot. You have guys like Zombie Spidey questioning his motives on why he is hungry.

Only thing I have against Marvel Zombies is that they turned Hawkeye into a fucking punching bag.

On an unrelated note I finally got around to renewing my XBL subscription so I can get back to sucking at COD and Battlefield 3

What's your Gamertag bro? You might be able to play Battlefield with JGoose and I if my hand is willing.
