WZCW Discussion Thread

For those of you who are interested in the odds/explanatory paragraph for the Lethal Lottery, I'm just about finished. Hopefully I'll have it done after work tonight.

I'm excited, I wanted to use it in my RP, but it wasn't up yet, so I had to make up some odds for myself

This month on PPV.

Blade was just an ordinary wrestler, but what happens whenever he doesn't follow the script.

Ty Burna vs. Blade in an Unscripted match at Bash at the Starcade.

Bateman wins by pinning the ref and somehow becomes the WZCW champion.

2600 words in and maybe a third of the way through what I want to cover. Hoo boy.

Fortunately my schedule's clear for the night.

I can't believe he said "fuck". I didn't think Kensworth knew any swear words.

It was "off camera" remember so I didn't break character for him - in fact I was trying to add to his character. Now whether Creative will agree that I was right or not (or even if my pseudo-breaking of kayfabe will go down well) is another story. I'm trying to write this in a kind of autobiographical style, but where the important conversations are remembered almost verbatim. As time goes on there will be less off-camera dialogue, but no less stuff happening off-camera.

really? I write mine almost immediately then spend the rest of the week editing it, my LL RP was sat on my PC for a couple of days before I came back to it for a final edit and to post it.

Actually between the time I posted that I've already got down my first part of the RP.

I usually write my RPs the day of, or the day before. But I spend the entire cycle thinking of what I want to do and how I want to go about it. I often have an idea the day the cards are released but it hasn't been thought about enough until nearly deadline.

I like to start out my RP a few days once the cards finish, and then have it sit for a few days, then continue working on them and finish them.

I just headbutt the keyboard repeatedly, format the result of that randomly and post whatever comes out.

I tend to spent the whole round thinking over the structure of my RP and then write the day of, although I had intended to start a few days early this time. And then, y'know, shit went down and that didn't exactly work out.

I'm really happy with what's come out of the writing so far. Even if this doesn't win, I think I've created a long term framework in which I can work.

I spend some time at work when I have down time thinking up possible scenarios. Usually I don't even use those when I actually write my RP's. I just sit and type for about an hour and whatever comes to my mind then is what I use.

Usually my approach although for this round I started off right away, and then completely blew it off only to complete the 2nd half hours before the deadline
