Armando "Pickles" Paradyse...has a ring to it huh?

I can see it now my friend.

Ladies and Gentlemen! The following superstar is the winner of Lethal Lottery 4 and is the challenger for tonight's World Heavyweight Title Match at Kingdom Come IV! He is Armando "Pickles" Paradyse!!!

That's good to hear. I really hate to see when people post on here, "posted my roleplay, but not happy with it."

It's just disheartening to see people not enjoy their writing and be so down on themselves. It also shows a lack of confidence to me. If the author doesn't enjoy their own piece, then how do they expect others to?

Well bar one, or maybe two RPs in my first run I wasn't happy with any of them, and God knows I hated writing them and yet people apparently liked them. People have high standards for themselves, and they aren't always going to match those standards, so they won't always be happy with them.

I don't mean that everyone will always be happy with their work. I'm talking about, regardless of how the creator feels about it, how they should never self beat themselves up over it. Especially in here, because it can create some pre-conceived notions about their piece of writing. Whether it's intentional or not.

If someone posts in this thread and says that there roleplay is up, but it's not something they are proud of. To me it devalues the worth of the roleplay because the writer it self finds it devalued. Before I even read the roleplay, I have a pre-conceive notion that the roleplay is not good. Which results in a lack of interest, an unwillingness to engage into it, and an already established bias.

Sorry, it is 6:00am here and I have not had a wink of sleep because of the project I have been working on. Sorry if what i said seemed jumbled up.

Summary: I try to refrain from posting stuff like "My roleplay wasn't as good this round." I think we should all want people to be interested in our character and have people want to read our roleplays other than creative. But, posting negative comments like that just make it unappealing to read.

Summary of that -^: Don't give someone a reason to not read your roleplay.

If it makes you feel better I've been please with my three most recent RP's, and fairly pleased with the ones before that

I joke of course, terrible they were

Sadly not, I was going to write it when I got in last night but then the net was down and I've just come in from work.

Ok, well if you wish sir, I have reopened the thread. From what I was told it was out of your hands with your net going down, so by all means go ahead and write an RP up and post it if you feel like it.

Sweet, I'll give it an attempt in a bit, got a few things to do first. :)

RP is actually done, just waiting for jiggles so we can look over it and work on the other part.

Thank you for the extension Creative. The RP is not exactly what I thought up, but my schedule forbids me from taking all day with it.

I just wanted to apologise to Dave, Creative and everyone else for my lack of an RP this week. I've had a switch around at work recently and the past two weeks have been the most stressful of this year where I've been burnt out and just wanting to sleep when I get home. Clearly had the weight of the world on my shoulders and it's not a great example of being the Champion, nor an RPer and I apologise profusely as I've never been in such conditions before, especially with the Christmas rush coming up.

Sorry, once again. Sorry.

Don't sweat it, mate. I knew something was far wrong for you to not put in an RP. Hope things get a bit easier for you over the next couple of weeks.

I would also like to apologize for no-showing, I sat down to write my RP last night and the next thing I knew, my alarm was going off to go to work this morning.
