I used a super-violent RP once, and judged some others, so here are the two rules of thumb I always used:
1. Does it make sense for your character to do this?
For example, it would be way out of character for The Internet Warrior to go crazy and beat someone down, but Phoenix had violent mood swings and was in a bitter feud, so it worked.
2. Is it "wrestling TV show violent" or "call the cops, this is attempted murder" violent?
Keep within the wrestling reality. Hitting someone with a chair or throwing them into a trash can is wrestling violent, beating them within an inch of their life with a baseball bat is "real" violence.
These aren't any type of official rules, but they are a couple of basic guidelines you can use to try and decide if what you want to do is kosher or not.

Apologises on this one Doc. I thought about making it teams from WZCW's past but for the life of me I couldn't think of enough teams that... didn't have 1 active member still competiting, that we're successful, and could still be remembered by the majority of the roster. So in the end I chose a handful of wrestlers who either had memorable or long runs in the company.

Why not do the approach where you take time out of your day to ask them if they want to be in it. Seems kind of selfish to make them stop and send you a pm whenever they didn't agree to it in the first place.

Oh....I didn't tell you? Holmes is getting sacrificed on the Cell. I hope you don't mind a gruesome death to your character, you know, blood and bits of flesh dropping from the cage to the ring while the vultures devour your rotting corpse. Steven Kurtesy will be making an appearance as Ashleigh Falkon makes a surprise showing to kill off his/her doppleganger while Big Dave huddles in the corner unable to handle all the gore around him while Baller gets his head chopped off with a machete.
