so, do you guys judge a good promo based on quality or quantity? reason why i ask is, i have seen instances a lot of times where a wrestler cuts a promo that really paints an awesome picture and shoots off your imagination, but isnt as long. and then another wrestler who cuts very long promos, but is very boring and has a lot of useless dialogue. and ive seen the one who cut the longer more carried out promos be pushed over the guys that cut shorter but sweeter ones.

In all honesty, I'm still adjusting to being remotely on the staff, so I can't answer this as best as Sincade or Enforcer. In MY opinion, the guy who gets the win, is the one who cuts the better promo as it regards his match.

If you cut a promo about your character getting "over" (such as basically a long or short page on your character rambling on & on about how he's the best, he's going to win, his opponent sucks, etc) then it won't cut it. That (to me) is a generic promo, & very easy to write.

There was some concern a while back where Steamboat (for example) was concerned with Gus stealing his thunder (so to speak) by playing off his RPs. In my mind, thats what makes it entertaining. You have to bounce off the other. I perfect example of this, would be the feud between Titus & Hasheem. (look in the old archives for these RPs)

If you have any main questions regarding how voting on who gets the win is decided, you can also consult with Sincade or Enforcer. One final thing I will say, that EVERYONE should remember. Regardless of how great your promo is over the other guys.. in order to keep balance with storylines, you may get the win, but not like you would've assumed. Through my mind, we're here to have fun & tell a story, just like the W.W.E., or T.N.A.

And as a result, we must keep to our storylines. If someone no shows more than one RP, then his "push" in a selective storyline will be cancelled, or the other guy will take his place. Does this make sense to everyone?

I have a question to the people who really wanna be in this E-Fed...meaning the ppl who have applied and got or didnt get accepted in the past 2 weeks.

Will you guys take this seriously? And obviosuly ur gonna answer this a yes...but is this gonna be a part of ur life...

bc u may call my a loser or a freak or "i have no life" thing...but i think of WZCW as a BIG part in my life.

I am only 14...don't have that big of a life yet lol...i have tons of studies lol...but i think of WZCW as part of my life.

that;s why i handle my RP's with care...I reely wanna be a wrestlerr...obviously won't bc i am not in shape to be nor will i ever lol....but like this is my way to "be my own wrestler"

I think i am amazing with RP's certainly not the best but like i reely do think, long and hard, about my RP-ies....i truly do.

So can we expect from each and one of u...UNIQUE RP's....like for my character i have a Dan Rather one...and the RP that i am writing for the ppv...which i started about 3 weeks ago....still not done...well i havwent worked on it in a while...but this has to show everyone how dedicated I am.

I know that:

Sincade and Enforcer r both dedicated to this bc they spend A LOAD of their time on WZCW....Will who is trying to be also a mod of WZCW, lol jk but is extremely helpfull to the staff and hopefully he will be made a mod of WZCW, joining Sincade and Enforcer...and one day me lol.

Gus, Thorpe (sometimes), Gus...and some others r reely dedicated to this.

The NEw-comer...Sammy ORwell...freaked the shit out of me with his RP...WHICH MEANS HE LEFT HIS MARK...i remember his RP...if u asked me what was his RP about...i would be able to tell u...but for some others i dont even remember bc they failed to make their mark!

That's what I mean...look at this post as a little advice to u.

And if you fuck with me or my character, then you will feel the wrath of Hasheem/my RP's...bc if my oppoentnt is someone who is a punk i will RP my ass off just to win!!!

And I am gonna steal a little line from the movie, BORAT.

That whole thing was out of character, here is in my character. This is an RP that i wrote for no reason at all. I just wrote it for ppl to see it and learn from it...it is my early gift for when i crush each and every single one of u lol

Hasheem: I just want to explain somethign to all of you. The reason I run away from my opponents, is all mind games. They think they have me, but then i really strike at them when they are most vulnerable...like Titus!!!

Our first encounter...i knock him over the head.

Our first match: Draw. I was basically toying with that loser.

Our second match: I walk out losing by COunt out...i won bc of all the mind games!!!

Our last encounter: Titus was in over his head!!! He thought he was better than me. He knew that we both wanted this Elite X title...and he said to himself..."Hasheem ran away last time bc he has fears for me...so i am sure to win this.

But what happened? I kicked his ass!! I came out of my shell and i had the match in the palm of my hands...eventually knocking him out cold!!! U c Titus thinks he has it all pat down, like usual...but he doesn't and since our battle...he has never been the same again!!

I even heard that he was injured pretty badly, but not like one of thos cure injuries...just some pain in his spinal cord that hurts him when he walks and does athletics...he will handle this pain until the very day he dies!!


So I guess I can add 2 names on my list of DOOM:

Arch Angel (His Poster was: Da Vinchis Nighmare...but he isn't part of this company anymore lol. Hasheem basically attacked him after a tag match and "injured" him.

and now...
Titus: For he will never be the same again!!!

And after Civil Revolution, I will be adding 3 more names onto my list.

this is basically what an RP should be...can be better than that or like that...i will be copying this and pasting this in the roleplay thing...This took me like 5 minutes to write. But now i wanna know...is this a good RP for anything...or is it bad...I won't be mad or put u on my list if u tell me it sux...but if u do tell me it sux then at least gimme a reason or 2.

I hope u learned something from this post. As I wrote it to help u all.

ok cool man and i applaud your dedication and passion for this thing. However, there are those of us out there whom work full time and have kids and families. so popping out 80 promos a week is just not very practical.

now, i do not have a wife and kid yet but i do lead a very tough and busy full time military lifestyle. 60 hour work weeks, relocating every 6months to a year, deployments to iraq, afhanistan, and all about, etc. etc. so i can say that i will be very hard for me to maintain the level of commitment you have expressed. I still am able to however to be able to get on and cut some good promos and keep along with it and partcipate at an above satisfactory level during my free time.

you definetly cut some good promos my friend, and i can tell that you will be a longstanding star here, but don't be so upset if not everyone can maintain the same level of participation as you do.

no no u may have misunderstood me...i didn't mean that u have to make a lot of RP's...basically...to make long story short...my post was just trying to say to ppl...to RP their asses off...not 10 RP's...but like 2 or 3 amazing ones...and i was talking to everyone, not just the new ppl here...but everyone.

I am committed to WZCW...but like i view it as a society and a neighborhood.

all u new guys r coming into our society and our town and our neighborhood and we want u to be just like some of us...who try to RP every match they have...to every show that u r asked to...and not no-show.

Hopefully our society can imporve now that we have a lot of people who have tons of potential.

yea i can defiently handle rping / promoing for my matches and events. i am not new to this brah. i have been in the WZ e-feds LONG before now and have already won gold and proven myself. they didnt give belts and the best matches to the people who were worthless and didnt give an A+ effort into their stuff.

your a good kid. we definetly could use a lot of RPers like you man. keep up the SUPERB work

and as for your further questions, yes i am in the United States Military and yes i have served overseas in conflict. thats why i was absent from WZCW for almost 3 years due to deployments, constantly relocating, etc.. but im at a steady base now and should definetly be available for a long time

If this post has anything to do with the recent ban of my partner dbolm666, i would like to make a brief comment on it and show his side of the story.

he was banned by Y 2 jake just yesterday for spamming on a few posts. i combed through and read all of the posts he put up and i agree that there was at least one that was a spammy like post but, the others he put up seemed pretty legit.

now, im definetly not trying to step on anyones toes here or cause any trouble at all, but, i feel that some of the people that run things around here have a bit of a trigger happy finger on the Ban User button.

i had made a post when i first got here in the Punisher 2 thread in the movies section. i posted up something about wanting to see a Halo movie come out in the future. It was off topic to the thread and got a spam warning from RVDgurl for it. Fair enough. that makes sense and i understand that. also, RVDgurl was professional enough to kindly let me know what i did wrong and that was it, i apologized to her politely and sincerely, problem solved. now i am EXTRA careful about what i post around here.

however, my buddy dbolm666 had made a short spam like post here. Y 2 jake sent a warning to him but dbolm666 hadnt noticed it and didnt know about it. Y2Jake then saw him, by his own judgement, make another post that he considered was spam and banned him. no 3 strikes your out like what was said in the original rules, no trip to the prison, no nothing.

i just think that the reaction to all of this was a bit harsh and an impulsive, spur of the moment, 'just ban his ass and be done with it' kind of thing.

like i said earlier. im not trying to get on anyones bad side or piss anyone off. im just stating what my opinion is whilst remaining respectful and professional about it.


so nevermind about that anymore. the show must go on right just to bad that you guys missed out on what would of been a great tag team.

While you'll have to check if it was a perminate ban, or a week ban.. facts are facts, & Jake was doing what his job asks him to do. Jake is one of the top guys on this board, & knows how to do his job, so noone should question his ruling, as he has no reason to lie regarding it.

This is a prime example of whats right & wrong. You checked & noticed you received a warning, therefore, you changed what you were doing & became more cautious. Your friend (while he may or may not have intentionally noticed the warning) did not.

Again, Jake has been around a long time.. he knows what to look for. And regarding the 3 strikes your out thing, sometimes it only takes one. Even "I" as a mod will notice someone post spam, I'll warn them, or give them an infraction.. & if I see them do it almost repeatedly after that, I'll give them another infraction. If they continue again, I'll ban them.

Chances are, what Jake did was notice that his infraction/warning went unnoticed, & therefore, he felt your friend either didn't care for the rules, or wasn't doing his own part, by paying close enough attention to what he was doing.

I understand your post. I don't feel you're stepping on toes, or being out of line. You have a right to ask.. but I'm sorry, like Jake said, he was banned because he broke the rules set forth for this site. If it was a weekly ban, he'll be back.. if it wasn't, he won't be..

thanks for at least understanding a bit Will.I'm definetly not trying to flame on anybody or show disrespect to the mods. I have no problems with Jake at all and i can honestly say that i have no beef with anyone on here. i was just a little bit upset about how it went about.

As far as this whole thing with my friend being banned and what not. I've already passed the point of realizing that i am fighting an uphill battle and won't say anything more on the matter. there's really nothing that i can do about it as decisions you guys make are pretty much final. Whatever happens, happens. As for you Jake, I apologize if i gave you any headaches on this. like i said, i was never trying to spit in your face or provoke you in any way.

It's over with now and lets forget about it.
