WZCW Discussion Thread

@ NSL: Thanks for the feedback man and I would like to take this time to explain why we left it as we did. I think this works on two levels. Firstly, the tension is built up to a crescendo at Ascension and apart from that, there is a "will they/wont they" thing going on.

Another point is this, would Karnage and Blade take time out to work together. Maybe a quick getaway to a team building location is needed. Blade, pack your bags, we are going orienteering...

I get this...Especially for a monster heel and a cocky face. Thanks for clearing it up.

The team work with tag teams this week has been immense, the rWo v steel titus and Bratch as well as teach/dr stevie as well as blade/karnage

Is Titus jealous? Or is Titus just a Richards mark?

Anyway, our tag team division has been dwindling for too long. I say make the Tag Team match the dark match for Ascension, have us go through every random/legit tag team before dropping the belt to the best tag team around. Make sure Kurtesy gets injuried and have Murfish come back to defend the title with Teach.

You have until 23:59 EST tonight to apply for Extensions, send PMs to Me, Ty or Dave (Lee's away for a couple of days). Currently have two requested, you have about 4 hours roughly left to apply if you need one.

I think I need an extension...There's no way I could ever have an RP ready before Monday...

Oh...Wait...I posted already ;)

Here's a question for everyone, I was just curious:

Do you ever find it hard to follow up a truly great RP? Just in terms of expectations?

I would anwer, but I think I would have to post a great RP first.

I think it's definitely easier to follow up a "mediocre" RP, because the expectations are low, and it's hard to do worse. Following up a great one makes you feel good, and hopefully helps you keep the flow through future ones.

not really. In my opinion the key to a great RP is that it has to lead somewhere so technically you know in your head where your next RP is going when you've finished your first. I always know what i'm writing in my next RP. I then work what I want around what I'm given.

For this one I knew I was going to do an interview with a face interviewer in silvers before I saw the card. I then saw the card, spoke to my team mates and worked from there.

Try and set a sub-plot to your character away from WZCW. Its what i've done with Carmen and that way you'll always have something to write about. it will also increase the length of your rp's as you deal with both your sub-plot AND your next match in one RP

One week, I defeated and got rid of Joshua the Baptist... next week, I get raped in the arse. Have a think about that answer for a second.

BTW... for your great RP *points to Tag Team Championship match* :D

I don't want to be 'that guy' or anything....but you 'defeated' and got rid of Joshua the Baptist because he didn't RP. You could have said "AshLeigh will win. End scene" in your RP and still would have won.

I don't mean to be a jackass and call you out on that or anything, but there really is nothing saying that IF he did RP you wouldn't have beed 'raped in the arse' two weeks in a row.

Just sayin...

Shhh..... don't ruin my point... nawhhhh... damnit, you just did didn't you... :( I was just trying to make a point :icon_neutral:

;)

EDIT: AF's dead in the water with Dr. Stevie taking his place. You hear me Titus, I'm Dr. Stevie now! Mwuahaha.

*Sits and waits for hell bant infraction from Lee*

I guess I was just saying that because I beat Celeste because she never RPed for our second match. But I don't really consider that a just win.

While I love what the win does for my character's record, and it opens up a rubber match(es) for when/if she returns, it sucks that I got the win by a technicality. I shouldn't have won that match because in my eyes, Celeste is a much better RPer.

Either way... my best RP's and victories come from no-shows. I just wanted to make myself feel better by saying it wasn't the no-show but the RP that won it for me.
