But that's hardly annual. A tournament might be good for newer guys (points to himself) to get them into the swing of things, in terms of not only posting but also deadlines. And give them a false sense of achievement.

Well, its really a hard choice. A tourament is always a great thing to implement randomly to address feuds & title situations or to give some people a chance to RP. However, it would be something to look forward to if we make a tourney we aready know about & is set in stone.
There really isn't much we can do for a tourney excepy determine number one contenderships for titles. I reckon this might benefit the midcard singles titles much more than the main event title for prestige purposes, like this recent EurAsian title tourney. Might be good to hold like matches with stipulations as you rank higher.

Perhaps but let me tell you this. You are correct in thinking that the only thinking we can offer is number 1 contenderships. The problem is, and don't take this the wrong way, not many of you are ready for a title shot. Look at Young and Smith, they have going against each other for months now and they are only just getting a title shot. You guys haven't done enough to warrant a title shot so that idea is out.

That is why I question the reason for this tourney. There aren't enough legit contenders for any titles I agree. This is why we should hold it every year, sometime a lot later once everyone becomes established. What company would hand a championship to a completely noob wrester who hasn't got a crowd connection?

Se that's a better idea but the same problems exist. Who is in the tournament? Who is new? What kind of tournament is it? Where do we draw the line? Is everyone in it or just a few people? All of these questions need to be answered before anything like this can be undertook. Also, it is very complicated and would take a lot of time to complete.

?Well, a KOTR style tournament would be interesting... While the original idea pitched was for newer guys, I was thinking it would be cool for midcard guys to have a tourney and then perhaps get a title shot. I mean if a guy proves himself the best midcarder and wins 3 or 4 matches in a row in the tourney, then maybe he kinda deserves it.
