WZCW Discussion Thread

or me, i could post the show, just because im not a mod doesnt mean i cant do it...

we could add another show and just add a new team to posting it, say have enforcer or izzy or will in charge of the layout and hand the matches over to the writers, that way it would work just fine we would just need one mod in charge of it but again as alex said its just an idea nothing would be set in stone

i like your point DJ. and it leads me onto something i read on an ancient post a long time ago on the WCZW pages.

House shows.....if these are supposed to be a learning curve, would it not be a good idea to have them, as a starting point to write shows (matches and promos), practise RP'ing as i believe this is the concept i think they were meant for.

I say again, i understand Enforcer and creative do not want the lunatics running the asylum (LOL) but the house idea could work if we were kept on a tight enough leash.

(right another rant over, time to go and figure out what i can get done bout this latest spamming infraction.)

if we had another show it could just really for the newer wrestlers like i said we could call it heat up it goes like heat up then its meltdown play on names lol i no for a fact i like this because im new and lord noes i need help with rp's cause just between us * im a horrible writer lmfao* but anyways im done

I think acid would be a better name, WZCW Acid and we could do with it what heat is supposed to be, ig anyone wants me to work on this i will throw my name in the hat, gus can work with me too and lee if that is ok but again the mods get the final say

i dont think acid is to good of a name imo sorry i goes with meltdown but i think meltdown is more of a like volcano name and volcanos go with fire right?
just gonna throw out some names here overload to meltdown heat up to meltdown eruption to meltdown inferno to meltdown shit i dont no

Ill help, and who is Lee? CoCo?

Yes I am Lee. I like it when people call me Lee. So if you guys want call me Coco or Lee. Those 2 names are fine with me. I am talking to Will on MSN right now about what in the world you guys are talking about.

Okay, to my knowledge Sincade has said to go ahead with the pilot. At which point we'll look it over, and we'll judge rather or not its going to work.

My only question is obviously, if just Gus, David and Leore are going to be running this show. Is it still up to Sincade, Enforcer and myself to come up with the storylines, angles, and matches for the show? Because the problem I see coming up, is that if you three plan on running your own storylines, we could head a huge wall of conflict sooner or later with how you do it.

not really Will it will be all undercard talent, no talent associated with the main roster, the only time the main roster will be involved will be with yours, sincades and enforcers say so

I totally agree with Will on this one. Whether or not this will be all "undercard" talent is irrelevant, IMO. We don't have a big enough roster to have an "undercard" show. Therefore, anything that happens on that show will affect what goes on during Meltdowns and PPVs.

Trust me guys. This is not a good idea. I was in the "farm-league" WZCW when it originated, being a Triple-A system reporting to WZWF. We got pissed because they were stealing all of our talent, even though we had really good storylines going. I was having a world title feud with Havoc, our top guy at the time. It was a REALLY good feud: one of the best I've seen in e-wrestling. He started me on the path to hardcore supremacy by throwing off and all around a Hell in a Cell. Eventually word got around that WZWF was calling him up, and he was going to be jumping ship. As for me, I didn't like this one bit. I wanted him to stay, as he was a REALLY solid top guy. Like, heel Triple H...in terms of being over.

What happened was, we split. We no longer were subjected to them, and they no longer could take our guys. What happened? Both brands suffered. WZWF got the worst of it, as they drifted out once their top guys disappeared. WZCW had a time of peaking, but then it fizzled out, also.

I'm not saying that this would happen, nor do I think it would happen. I just know that if we are trying to work together with having two seperate goals in mind, it could turn into two distinct factions. That's good kayfabe, but in no way is that good for the internal business of a fed.

Well, me DJ and Gus all spoke...and we know what will be happening on the 1st show...so don't worry Ricky. Everything is covered, WZCW isn't WZWF or wtvr it's called, it's 2 different E-Feds...and we will run this better than what happened in ur situation.

Coco, its not 2 different E-Feds, we're just giving the new guys who aren't on the main show regularly get some RP practice in, sure we'll have our storylines, but if a certain wrestler gets a storyline on Meltdown, the one on ACID will most likely cease.

You misunderstood me. What I said was that Ricky's fed and WZCW are 2 different feds, so just because it happened to his fed, doesn't mean it would happen to ours, that's what I said/meant.

Thats kinda the point Ricky, I think, was getting at though. We aren't big enough as a whole.. that we can afford to drop enough talent to this show, to where all of them wouldn't be in storylines on Meltdown.

You see, everyone from what I get is saying its for the up-starts. But the thing is, we're constantly trying to add everyone to Meltdown.. so whats gonna happen when you start doing your own storylines, and not informing us, and that character goes in a direction that we (as creative) didn't want them to go?

Then you risk 2 things happening. A.) You risk causing us to rethink everything we may of had planned for them.. or B.) You risk causing that Superstar to be lost all together, because some people can't come back from a bad storyline..

The thing is.. if you want to put together a show, thats more or less practice for other guys.. then thats fine.. because you don't even really "need" storylines. Just randomly match two people up. Now with that said, its gonna get old very quickly, because without any type of storyline, its going to get very "dull." But at the same time, you really "can't" have storylines because you risk ruining the overall product of what we are trying to put on mainly.

Well Will,

We are using guys like:

Brady...Glacier...Rajeem...DJ...GM...Jesse...Colon...Jeff something...people like those. And random jobbers.

Besides...we send Sincade the show and he obviously looks it over...and if there is something he doesnt like...wouldn't he tell us? He posts the shows, not us.

yea, but i see where Will is coming from, but I think we should try it for a little bit, and if Sincade or someone doesnt like a direction we're taking someone, they can tell us and we can change it

Exactly...we wouldn't be using main eventers or people in the title divisions...maybe once in a while for a special guest appearance but we have to have it ok-ed by all the mods. So you don't have to worry. I have a feeling nothing is going to go wrong.

Leore, whatever happened to your Special Awards show? I thought you wanted to have it out by the time the Lethal Lottery p.p.v. rolled around?

Did you just give up on that? Or what?

Also, I'm fine with seeing a pilot of "Acid" but like I said.. I hate saying "only the lesser talent" should be used on the show.. because how does that make any of them feel, to be thought of as not good enough? I know if I were any one of them, I'd take that as a slap in the face.

And I know you don't mean it that way.. but noone signs up to be apart of an e-fed thinking.. "Boy, I hope I can job today." or "Hmm, I hope they just discard me, and put me against anyone with no purpose." Thats almost depressing just to think about. lol

I like the idea of saying okay, whoever we don't use for Meltdown, then you guys can take THOSE guys, and use them in your show.. but if that were the case, your show wouldn't be any different than Meltdown, because you'd still have to wait for each Meltdown to come out.

And what I think you're trying to do, is put this show out weekly.. which wouldn't make ANY sense, if it were following the same timeline as Meltdown, which is on an every 2 week basis. (understand?)

Will, stop making this out to be something its not. Just be patient and wait for when we send the pilot episode to sincade.

And for the awards show...I have no time to write it.

I'm leaving at 3 to go to New Jersey to watch the stupid Superbowl. I won't be back for a while, since I live in New York. It takes a while to get there and back so I'm not sure if I will be free tonight, but we (gus, DJ, me) all know what is planned for the 1st show. We also have a major major storyline, which doesn't affect Meltdown.

Leore, the point he was getting at.. is HE wants to know. :disappointed: You do realize the show will never be posted without him or Enforcer completely reading through it and okaying it. If it is, without us knowing what directions you're going.. you could risk screwing up the main scene storylines.

And for the record, I'm positive about this to help those who need help through RPs.. I'm just not sure about how it'll effect everything. And if you, Gus or David can't continue to keep up with helping us with the main portion of W.Z.C.W. and put this show first.. then I'm sorry, but I'd then step in and say it has to go.. because the main show is our first priority..

I do honestly hope everything works for you though. I'm just saying, DO NOT overload yourself. (And Leore, you just said you didn't have time to do the Award's show.. which means you are overloading yourself)

No...all I am doing is booking the 2nd show...they are writing the matches...they all know that.

wow i am gone for 2 days and come back to talks of another show?

alot of you have said you want a weekly show well prove it to us. one of the main reasons we are bi weekly is because not everyone gets their assignments in on time. if you want to go weekly then pick up more matches and get them written quickly. if this happens for about 3 or 4 shows with no problems then myself and the other staff will highly consider going to weekly.

starting another show wont help out any, it will cause more problems then solutions.

Ok, if there are problems with matches not being written on time, then just ask me, I have a gift of visualizing a match, which allows me to write a match in half an hour, so if anyone ever has troubles writing their match, just ask me, like i was telling Coco and DJ when we were talking yesterday, i could write the whole show if need be. Also, coco, if you need help with the awards show, just tell me your visions for it, and i can help you.
