WZCW Discussion Thread

Yeah I'm open to suggestions, the only thing I just can't get into is shooter games. For some reason they just don't hold my interest. I've been looking at Steep as my friend sent me videos of the demo when it was out and it looks fun but I've also read reviews and people say after a couple plays it's boring so I'm leaning towards passing on that.
Well hello there tag team partner.

Steep...I tried the beta and well, it was fun but after a few playthroughs, it definitely got boring. So yeah, your friend is pretty spot on with that. To me, it's sort of like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater where you can play it once in a while and have fun but if you play hours and hours of it, it just gets repetitive.

For me, sports games are games that help me unwind. If I just want to chill, I'll boot up NBA 2K17, dunk on some people, and be done with it.

I honestly didn't know many of you were gamers. Y'all should shoot me some messages and we can talk about games. Need more of that in my life tbh.

Stayed up until 1:00 AM watching the South Park marathon that's going on. I wasn't the biggest fan before, but after giggling like a damn clown all night I've become a fan.

Funny you should mention that. I picked up the Stick Of Truth on the Countdown Sale on XBL the other day and have been really enjoying it. It was cheap as chips, too. It's remarkably well done and a lot better than I expected it to be.

Stick of truth was the last game I played that I couldn't put down.

I didn't get very far when I played on a friend's copy but I liked what little of it I saw. Stick Of Truth might just have to be the 3rd game I get if/when I get an Xbox One after FF15 and Dragon Age Inquisition.

I didn't like Dragon Age Inquisition. I gave it a solid five or six hours and couldn't get into it. Not entirely sure why either, I think it was the battle system I disliked.

I've heard good things. Did you play the older ones? There's no way it could have been worse than Dragon Age 2.

I'm playing Origins and I have II coming from Gamefly.

I've never played Inquisition but that's in my Q. I've thoroughly enjoyed both Origins and what I've played of II in the past so I'm excited about Inquisition.

Origins was amazing. II followed the same formula way too much. Explore the town, explore the town at night, temple, repeat. Man did that get old. I liked the characters enough to complete the game but I will never re-play it.

Yeah that seems to be what everybody thinks about Steep that I talk to and have read in reviews. Shame cause it looked fun, but on the bright side not getting it will save a ton of space on my hard drive.

I do love playing Madden and MLB is fun now and then but I've been meaning to branch out and get into more games.

On the topic of games, Pokemon Sun has been really fun so far, fairly different from the standard formula for pokemon games but I'm enjoying it. This is the first time ever I've taken the grass starter.

I feel like Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat has been having a crossover match outside with Elsa from Frozen. Weather's been awful the past two days. What about you guys?

Worked overtime yesterday because of the weather, going into work Monday on a delay as a result... And yet there's nothing but a tad bit of sleet on the ground. Silly NC.

Gearing up for a winter storm. Don't think we'll be declaring a state of emergency over it though.....like Georgia. I feel embarrassed for them.

Well, speaking as someone also from a southern state.... If it even gets below freezing temperature at all, it's bad for us. We had 19 degrees at one point yesterday. You can count on one hand how many times a year that happens in Texas.
