Being on the pre-show is by no means a punishment. The pre-show is simply to give the PPV a more realistic feel. Every WWE PPV has a kick-off show and they sometimes include a match. We are just striving for a more authentic feel with a pre-show match. We would never be WWE and put title matches on a pre-show though.

Each match on the card has a purpose, even if they aren't obvious right away. The locations of the matches on the card have no bearing, aside from the traditional World Title main event.

Because they guy using the gimmick doesn't actually speak Italian. Why do you think I had to download a translator?

How do people not know what that means? Especially from the man who's using the damn gimmick!

I admit to being a little puzzled by this as well. Like, I understood Dagger using Swedish, being that's his native language, but I couldn't imagine a language barrier with my own character. I think that was part of the problem with Logan and the Boston accent at first, but K Web has reined it in and made it work.

You can make it work, without using much Italian, if you just remember a few important words, like "capisce". Also, there's a lot of Italians in New York and New Jersey that don't know a lick of the language, but go out of their way to pronounce certain words correctly, mostly foods. If you can find something that pronounces the word audibly, and then spell it out phonetically, it might work.

For instance, "capisce", said aloud, sounds a bit like "gabeesh", so you would use the second one in place of the actual word, to make Mancini sound like a NY Italian. Just an idea.

It's a word so often used in the English language, it's more English than Italian. Like, you don't even need a damn translator to know that. Also, Eve Taylor is Italian and I don't speak it. Hell, I can't speak my native tongue (French) properly.

Theory debunked. You lose. I win. Suck it, nerd.

French. Tongue. Boner achieved.

You could always ask me too if that would be quicker since it's my first language.

Thanks for your concern :) Right now I've been trying to learn Swedish. I'm learning some words from your RPs as well. Such as "snart" which means "soon" that's the only thing I remember from your RP. I've assigned myself to learn a Swedish word per day. The thing which bothers me more is the grammar. It's tougher than I thought :-/

I fully admit to using Google Translate when I do the Spanish speaking parts of El Caidos RPs, but I always just add in the English translation for ease of reading. So really it's just to add more authenticity to the RP without sacrificing readability.

As far as "capisce" was concerned, I knew what it meant because of Full House using it a lot. A number of people from our generation may remember that. I never knew how it was spelled though and I doubt I am alone there.

Yeah that was actually my inspiration for doing the same thing for the Elven (Swedish) in mine with Common (English) underneath it. It helps A LOT for those who don't speak the languages. I think of it like the subtitles with translations that show up on some TV shows and movies when a foreign language is spoken.

Now that the Wrestlemania festivities are over, I will go ahead and announce that the deadline has been pushed back 24 hours, to Saturday April 9th. All extensions will apply for April 10th.

Reading your RPs is what gave me the style I do it. I wanted to have Italian phrases and words in my RPs from the beginning but was afraid it would lose me votes if creative didn't speak the language.

I thought about doing that for Kagura, but Google Translate is not good with Japanese and I can just say she's speaking Japanese and put her text in a different font or format and it accomplishes basically the same thing.
