Not the best anime if ya can call it that. But it seems okay. Finishing Volume 1.

I agree there are times it sounds like they use the same actress for different characters, but the worst voice acting? Watch the Naruto, Yu GI Oh, and Speed Racer dubs. This is a masterpiece compared.

I thought the plot was incredible. It's the beginning of a race war. The radical Faunus group is led by a human and the RWBY squad are caught right in the middle of it. Beats lazy protagonist who can't talk to girls destined to overthrow evil corporation/monster/king that's rampant in anime.

The animation threw me off at first too until they started fighting. It's different. A lot of anime does have the same art style and gets made fun of for it, but it seems Rooster Teeth went out of their way to make RWBY stand out. That and I don't think they could have used Halo clips, lol.

The music is great, the fights are awesome,and the underlying themes of racial equality, trusting teammates, and extremist beliefs are definitely good for a show with what seems like a small budget and a child-friendly fanbase.

For me most of the jokes fall flat, dialogue can be shit and the story slows down when it shouldn't, but worst thing ever? Hardly from it.

I absolutely hate the Monty Oum style of fight animation, that's more of a taste thing than anything else. Watch his haloid video that made him famous, or any of the old dead fantasy wankfests, they're all the same stupid shit time and time again, all flash and no substance.
The voices sound like they just rounded up their friends to do them - because that's what they did - I can live with the same voice actor doing multiple characters, but not when every voice on the main cast sucks. At least with Naruto there are some voices that don't kill the show. This is coming from a guy who vehemently hates dubs, yet I'd absolutely watch the worst of Naruto over one rwby episode.
I fucked up when I said the plot was what sucked, it's the script. The plot overall, if you take out every flat out of place joke and burn the cornfield that is every line of serious dialogue, is not bad. Monty just wasn't a good writer, and the Kerry/Miles duo effectively killed red vs blue.
Rwby will literally never end though so you've got that going for you, but I've tried multiple times to get into it and every time I have to turn it off before my head explodes. It is quite literally my least favourite thing in the known universe.

Hey it's all good M. We all have our preferences. I noted that there are things I hate about the show as well. I doubt I will make it passed Volume 3, but so far for me it hasn't become bothersome.

And I play Skyrim and Fallout NV like a cult leader.

In other news I have started a SnapChat. This might be the worst decision I've made outside of pregnancy scares.

I put alot of time into Skyrim for the Xbox 360. The cave where you find the elder scrolls is something else. I never thought it would end. Then it ends with a wierd puzzle you have to solve to get the scrolls.

I decided to watch a Hobbit marathon instead.

Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Desolation of Smaug at 8 tonight.

I'm not up on what you fancy G-mods are capable of.

Everything a regular mod can do (infract, delete, merge, etc) but for every section. On top of that I can change a user's avatar, remove their signature, and edit/remove reputation comments. I won't do any of the user alterations unless a rule is broken or something gets reported though.

It doesn't happen often. My wife has never seen Desolation of Smaug so being able to just relax together with our dog and watch it makes me happy.
