Better than working hard on an RP only for people to go on about how great they thought your opponent's was. Now that's a letdown.

Speaking of squash matches, look up Rey Mysterio vs Scott Norton. Norton obviously is not happy about laying down to a guy who looks like a nine year old trying to be cool. He obliterates Mysterio right to the end, then does a stupid backwards faint for the loss.

So I bought pokemon yellow on the 3ds market and was going to nuzlock it until remembered that the first gym is fucking hard.

Nidorans learned a Fighting type move at that part, from what I recall. They got me through the first gym and Mt Moon. It sucks not having a Squirtle early on, but getting all three Blue starters via story in Yellow was awesome.

I used a male Nidoran as well.

I'm also playing through omega ruby and I'm enjoying it.

Never saw the appeal of nuzlock. I got a challenge for you. Use only this party:

Pikachu
Squirtle
Bulbasaur
Charmander
Eevee
Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan

The game provides you with your own full party of pokemon. Try using only these to clear the game. It's fun. You can still evolve those that evolve. I recommend Jolteon for the Eevee because of the diversity of types of moves Jolteons learn.... and Hitmonchan instead of Hitmonlee.

EDIT: You can use a Nidoran up until you get a Squirtle.
