WZCW Discussion Thread

Ugh. It's hot and I have to organise my whole year in the space of 4 days. When I become incredibly rich I'm going to get a giant walk in freezer as a chill room, this current setup of walk in wardrobe ft. fan and extension cord isn't doing the trick.

There's nothing great on the Taco Bell menu.

I'd argue that KFC is infinitely worse than Taco Bell by a long shot... then again, Taco Bell didn't last long in Australia because we have amazing Kebab shops. Our worst Kebab joint is on-par with Taco Bell's best.

Fun Fact: those two chains (KFC & Taco Bell) partnered up in Australia for a while with no public toilets in any of the "restaurants" (that I visited). Bloody assholes!

Since I live in a relatively small town, we have a KFC/Taco Bell hybrid.

KFC always makes me sick.

KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut are all owned by the same company...so...there's no reason to hate one yet love another.

I'd come up with a funny response but YOU'RE not worth the time or the effort

You mean "nor" the effort, don't you?

Damn....Oldboy looks like it could be a decent movie. Anyone see it? That guy from The Goonies is in it.

The original Oldboy is amazing. It's so amazing, that I won't see the American remake. Let The Right One In had the same problem, of the original foreign version being so mind-bogglingly awesome that I knew it would be fucked up if redone for American audiences.

Time to start my RP which means it's also time to clean out my inbox with a grand total of 87 PMs. Fairly good innings for a week and a bit I'd say.

I have some finishing touches to put on mine, then I can get to writing some matches and burying building up the plebes...

Legit question; do you write most of your match before the result is heard, or is every move relative to how the RPs are produced?

No one writes anything having to do with matches until the votes are done, which is usually Friday night or Saturday. If there's segments that aren't dependent on a match outcome, then it's up to the writer. I personally wait until votes are done and the matches are discussed, so I can write my segments into the flow of the show.

How is the voting for the World Title match at Gold Rush going to work? Aren't all 3 participants on creative and therefore can't vote on the match?

That's interesting, I would have thought it'd be more on the side of one or two matches that are basically inconsequential to the show being almost entirely written beforehand with the last section, and maybe other key points, being the only things that changed - with an obvious caveat for a no show or something. Cheers for the insight :)

Killjoy makes the heartbreaking decision of choosing between his bestest pal Yaz, his bestest podcast pal Haiku, and the generally good dude Dave :p

Killjoy, Spidey, and myself would still vote on it. All we need is to make sure there's no tie. If we each picked a different person, then we'd find someone outside Creative to break the tie.

I know we all kind of map out the matches beforehand, and talk about some spots we could do, but as far as I know, no one actually writes anything until voting is done. There's been a few matches I've written where I swore the winner was an easy choice, and then it came down to a 4-3 vote and I wasn't sure who would be winning.

I'm about to break in my new laptop with its first RP written from this device... time to bring out the whipped cream!

I just posted mine. Get with it, slacker.

The remaining four guys will vote, and we may reach out to veteran members for an extra vote or two depending on potential ties.

Since in theory it will only take two votes to win the world title, we may reach out to those vets anyway.
