So how was it done was it generally "A's RP was betetr than B's so they outlasted them" or was it "this persons winning the rest we'll just do storyline?"

Final 8 competitors had the Top 8 RP's. As for the rest, people were eliminated based on how well their RP did amongst the voting. A couple were storyline eliminations but we still followed the above rule of thumb.

Extremely tight voting. There was one point difference between the two characters for the LL match & one vote difference between the two characters for their title match. So, the difference is negligible.

If the difference was bigger, we would've certainly investigated the votes.

EDIT: Ah, I think I figured it out - being a creative member, I cannot vote for myself when we rank RPs for the Lottery. So, I received an average score (which is whatever the other five have ranked me divided by five... so it can then be added to the original five rank to create an overall score) to make it fair for everyone. I think the average score I received was rounded down by 1 point since it was like a .3 or something.

If I could bring myself to click my way through the spoiler boxes and read LL I'd probably put together a rant, but I just can't bring myself to care.

Truce?

But seriously though, when did spoiler tags become a thing for every goddamn match?

When I was doing a Book This, spoiler tags became necessary because of the character count in each post.

It's mostly used for the PPV events so the match endings aren't spoiled for those reading the shows... and to prevent people from skimming the shows to find out who are the winners of each match.

You won't see spoiler tags as much for regular shows.

Most of the matches on Ascension had spoiler tags. When I first quickly skimmed the show I thought they all did. A closer look showed me there were 2 that didn't and there were none on Meltdown.

I retract my complaint about their overuse.

So, had a lot of time to sleep.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone, to creative, to the fed as a whole. I'm honored, and am stoked to have won KC. I've claimed to not care about wins and losses before (which I hold somewhat true), but this meant a fuckton to me, and I can't describe it. For me, it validates my return as Zeus, and really does show how much I've come from my issue I had last summer. I really cannot thank you guys enough for welcoming me back, and for bringing me on back home.

So, creative has a long PM of thanks and ideas coming, as to be honest... This threw all my ideas I had for KC planned out the window :lmao:

So before I do, any other returns that are back full time, beside Fallout? I've known about Fallout for some time, but should I be expecting Kurtesy and Showtime back, as well? If so, boy, do I have some ideas.

Other things to mention;

Kermit, I'm sad to see you go, but totally understand, man. I'm planning a wedding, and know that it can be hard to give your fiancé the time you need. I hope you return, as the fed always does need your mind for the business of wrestling, and you're just a good on bloke.

Dave, congrats on fathering. I know this ain't your thread, but I'm stoked for you to have kids man. I know you'll be a great dad, and that it will be a happy (but loud) home.

KJ, congrats on the site man. I got to look at it, looks like a great layout. I can't read none of that Spanish talk, but I'll try and buy myself some of that hooked on phonics to try, brother.

Again, thank you all, brothers

It was awesome reading Haiku LL update knowing well ahead what he was going to find out at the end :)

I gave a big congratulations to all the winners and RPers many posts ago. After posting, I realized I should spoiler it. Almost ruined Haiku's surprise.

And to clear the air on the Showtime issue, he's back. That's right, I'm pulling double duty for the next little while Hehe duty

Nice! Now with Showtime being back we'll have two Hall of Fame characters actively working the shows.

I really enjoyed the LL, quite a few ideas for Titus and I think that showing put me back on the map.

Titus versus Showtime - Hall Of Fame versus Hall of Fame - would be the tits.

I am really excited for the KC main event. It should be amazing

I said this in a PM to Dagger (which I still need to respond back to), but he and I are really are diametric opposites, as characters. We're actually similar in motivations and convictions, and only really differ in how we construe our concept of faith.

We're also really different in how we came up in the fed. I came up with a lot of backing from creative, and was kind of protected, in a way. I guess I was really privileged. Shit, I became a member of creative after, what, five months?

Theron started at the bottom, as really worked himself up to here. He really came up from nowhere to be who he is now, and is really a testament to crafting a character.

But the one thing that we both have is passion for the fed and storytelling, and I'm sure we have a good idea where we want to take this story, and what we want to do.

Damn, that's pretty cool. Again, I don't know where Showtime is going to go, but if the LL is any indication, there seems to be a blowoff of a legends feud coming at KC

Agreed. It worked out really well as in-character we have the most evil character in the whole fed challenging one of the most heroic (alignment ranking coming soon over in my thread....!) then there is the respect we have for each other out-of-character. You earned your win big-time, I fought hard for mine as well. I think we will come up with something worthy of Kingdom Come, so I am on the lookout for your PM.

On an unrelated note, I looked over the roster thread to get a list for when I do my alignment ranking post, you guys forgot to put Gino in with the faces and there's a typo in Showtime's name, unless he only has one quotation mark in his name now. :p

While it warms my heart to see people like Zues and Daggershield doing really well (and seriously guys, congrats), it also stings a bit that I am now seeing people that came in after me getting where I just couldn't get... gives a guy... an itch. Especially with these returns

Seriously gutted to see Kermit go, great guy, and we were making plans as well :(

Theo, what it do, man?!

Was pumped to see Beard in the lottery. Sheer curiousity, was this a one off, or shall we see more of this?

Got promoted at work which is why I left originally as it was a hassle with switching over so I was doing my work plus the work from my predecessor. Now that I'm settled, I have extra time.

My RP left the door open for both possibilities but I'm back baby!!

Hey theo! Glad your back.

Thanks bud. Good to be back.
