General Notice
These moves are now available as finishers:
- Attitude Adjustment
- Regal's Running Knee
Could I place a temporary hold on the Knee Trembler? I'm pondering replacing my spear with that...
And you wanted a shot at me next cycle...![]()
Sure. Just let me know what you decide within the next few days.
Must remember Zeus feedback! That'll be tomorrow as I'm doing nothing.
Mr. Morality's change will also be posted tomorrow.
Ah yes, I forgot about that!
I'm probably going to be a tyrant about feedback this week. This is gonna sound hypocritical on my part, but I'm going to use the results of this week as a benchmark for how I'm doing. I thought I turned in something pretty good, but I'd like to know how I could have made it better.
So yes, wins and losses don't matter, except now that I got my ass kicked![]()
You tried to stab a man.
Thank god for the extra time off. I have no freaking clue what to write for this upcoming cycle.
You can talk tap dancing on Chris KO's grave.
Shame I'm set of my super Bostonian guy for All Stars. Came up with a Justin Labar gimmick character that thinks he is super over, but is actually super hated. Could've wrote the whole RP like an episode of Chair Shot Reality. Damn.
I just figured worst RP gets pinned, or eliminated first in a battle royal or something. I just know that if I were in that match and got pinned after Kermit deliberately put up a stinker of an RP to lose... I wouldn't be a very happy camper. And CM Punk never made it to his match... Chris K.O. was very much in the match. Actually, if Hunter would have pulled some Orton shit and taken Chris K.O. out before the match, I think that actually would have been more fitting of the RP.
How so? I hope this leads to Howard & Stormrage continuing on their own... but IMO it would have served their feud better had neither one of them had a pinfall over the other heading into their next match... assuming that is what's happening. It's the classic Triple Thread scenario where whoever got pinned or submitted is out of the picture, and the one who wasn't involved in the finish could continue a program with the winner. Kermit's a hell of an RPer, and getting pinned wouldn't have hurt his character or himself anymore than it already was by being taken out by Dustin Hunter.
The whole notion that this helps Chris KO's character for his return being able to say "I never lost my title" makes no sense to me. Why help build a character's return months from now, when you have two characters in desperate need of being built up right now? I mean, let's not forget that, as much as I like Shotaro as a person AND as an RPer... he hadn't won since before KCV, and Stormrage's whole schtick as of late has revolved around his loss at KCV as well... meanwhile there isn't a single person here (save maybe Prophet) who thinks Kermit needs any sort of help getting his character over. A pin over Chris KO could have helped Justin Howard immensely, more so than a pin over a man he's about to continue feuding with.
I feel weird making a gripe over a match I had absolutely nothing to do with... I just felt it was weird, and perhaps a lost opportunity to help Shotaro & Yaz build their feud at the expense of Chris KO's eventual return. Then again, I have nothing to do with this feud whatsoever... so it's no skin off my back.
Except I check with Yaz that it was cool, it wasn't some random RPer because then, yes that would be unfair. It was something Yaz didn't say he had a problem with, at least not to the writer of the match, and, not that it's a relevant point in this case, but we'd PM an RPer about taking the pin if we were doing it for storyline purposes.
It says in the general fed rules/outline, you'd see that it says it's not always the worst RP that loses, if there's storyline reasons for someone else to take the loss.
And finally, taking out K.O. before the match would be a burial that neither Kermit nor K.O. deserves. I hope you don't want to join Creative, not where you have an attitude that a dedicated and consistently good RPer deserves to be screwed like that for a bad RP that wasn't even a no-show or second/third strike.
Howard and Mikey are feuding, therefore it's a good idea to create heat between them. If Howard pins K.O, what motivation does Mikey have to go after him?
We didn't specifically have K.O. lose that way so he could have a return angle, that's just something we can use.
A pin over K.O. is great in the short-term before people forget about it. A great feud however, which is being fuelled by Howard pinning Stormrage will be great for both of them rather than just Howard, or a feud with unorganic heat.
What does it matter how much they've lost over the last few rounds? They're easily the most consistent, hard working RPers on the fed and two guys that will help elevate the title, rather than just slapping it on a random RPer who's in decent form but just doesn't fit with the title or have much direction. Money in the Bank winners lose for months, then become world champions. CM Punk has lost a lot of PPV matches lately, but if he was thrown into the title picture tomorrow, no one would bat an eyelid.
The lost opportunity to help Shotaro and Yaz build their feud? Because one scoring quite a sneaky pinfall over the other does nothing for their feud? Or does less for their feud than Howard pinning K.O. will Mikey is down outside the ring? Come on, man, booking 101.
Did you see my last pm to you, sir?

Chris Benoit never existed.
"Mad" Mark Madden was hilarious enough, but his theme song being Gruntilda's Lair made me completely lose it. That's amazing.
I concede, Blade. <3
I would like to take that Booking 101 course, Blade. If the WWE has taught me anything, it's that Trips and HBK were the best tag-team in the history of wrestling, Hulk Hogan is a distant runner-up to the likes of Flair and Rhodes and that Chris Benoit never existed.
