Has a heel GM ever set up Barbosa in a six-man handicap tag match?

He was in a tag team match for the titles by himself, if I'm not mistaken.

This. It was a gauntlet match at All or Nothing where I beat a team including Justin Cooper, probably becoming a lineal champion of some sort in the process, only to then lose it to Brothers in Arms when Toyota squashed Barbosa.

Barbosa was also in a "six" man tag match where he was a member of both teams - Meltdown 76: Celeste Crimson, Chris KO and Barbosa vs James King, SHIT and Barbosa

That was completely my fault on that too. I was putting the cards together that round, checked, double checked, and triple checked the roster to make sure I didn't miss anyone. Never bothered to look at my own match I had the week prior when adding people to the list to distribute out and thus Barbosa was forgotten the week after he finally defeated Ty Burna.

I might have written that match... At the very least, I remember it happening and I'm almost positive I was on Creative at teh time.

I think I referenced that match.

Thanks to Haiku for the feedback but just a couple of small things to clarify.

The A-ha moment here is fitting for Barbosa; it's the exact way it should be done, but it also does make me wonder why this wasn't done a couple weeks ago. Barbosa is clearly smart, if not crazy like a fox. Why did it take until the last possible week for this to happen? The smoker and the depressive have clearly known for weeks that SHIT was critical to their success, so why did it take this week to talk sense into manic?

It was not really an A-ha moment as such. The Depressive had planned the alliance with SHIT almost from the very minute the personalities re-emerged months ago.

The brief increase in Manic's importance came with the return of Kravinoff, someone who the Manic identified as his best friend. So with SHIT getting into physical altercations with Hunter and Manic unwilling to accept that Kravinoff was no longer his friend, it started to undermine the BarboSHIT alliance. However, the real trouble began when Barbosa and SHIT started to lose matches - not winning the tag titles or the Lethal Lottery. Then the Manic could point to SHIT leaving Barbosa at vital times or attacking Barbosa's friends and even "attacking" Barbosa himself, no matter how explainable. That worked on the dislike of everyone that the Smoker had and even had the Depressive doubting his plans.

However, the attack by the Holmesian Triad showed that the Manic was essentially blaming everything on SHIT even when proof to the contrary so it was more a "yes, our original plan is still the best option" rather than a true Eureka moment.

If that was the intent, well done

No intent on my part.

But also curious when Barbosa is at his most dangerous in his manic state.

Not really, the Manic is and never has been the real threat behind Barbosa. Physically, the threat is the Smoker while the smarts come from the Depressive. The Manic is the child-like side who makes Barbosa somewhat approachable but also unpredictable.

Time to write out that RP.

Anybody wanna look it over after I finish it? No? Alright.

I will, yes.

I actually sort of figured that. A-ha was te wrong word, but the excitability is very true, and I probably should have recognized that. My bad.

Ah, still left a nice little break in between reading ROs, while still having them back to back

See, I like the unpredictable nature, and that's probably the word I was searching for, rather than dangerous. To a guy like Zeus, or really anyone, unpredictable makes it hard to imagine what Barbosa will do.

To be fair, I doubt if anyone really gets the ins and outs of Barbosa the way I think about them. Pretty sure even Miko is still a little perplexed by them despite working with them for the last year.

That is why - SPOILER ALERT - the Manic is going nowhere.

I posted mine because Barbosa posted his and I have to try to overshadow him at every opportunity.

Be careful you or we will slam that door in your face again.

Both Barbosa and I have submitted our RP's and yet out match discussion thread remains untouched. Apparently neither of us draw.

That's wont be anything personal. Most people are normal and will be working on their stuff still. :D

That section will pick up on the weekend.

I'm about the same. All dialogue right now. It's with D, Thriller and Slice once more to get their opinions.

I've probably got no more than five or six hours writing time left. Got all evening after work tomorrow and maybe a few minutes on Thursday night after we come back from going out.

I'm not going to hit half the stuff I wanted to get in but I need to add description to what I currently have at about 2500 words.

Zeus & Crock, check your inbox.

Glad I got that RP done but man am I looking forward to the week break we get after KC! I need it.

I still have nightmares about that room divider

It's the match I'm looking forward to most, I'm just not brave enough to make a prediction for the match with the two best RPers in the fed right now.

I'd say I'm about 20-25% at this point. Busy week but the missus is away on a work thing Thursday so I'll be able to get everything finished up then.
