Any favorites in thrash, death, and black metal? I do like old school metal bands like Priest, Maiden, Diamond, and Celtic Frost. Modern ones like Mastodon and Chimaira I dig.

@Rated R - if by hardcore you mean grindcore, then probably.

Not a whole lot of Death metal, but I can dig Mastodon. Lamb of God is a fave of mine as well. I can dig anything though.

Haven't heard of them, are they old school or new? "Metal" is a pretty broad term. I don't normally venture outside of death, thrash, black, and old school.
