WZCW Discussion Thread

I've been in feds with Gm for 5 years now. Tell me how you would feel after that being your first match with him ever.

I'd say that you should be happy that your feud with him is going to continue and that your first match with him won't be nearly as important as the match that determines who the winner of this feud is.

Don't take it as anything more than disappointment on my part. I'm not mad, at the match writer, or the voters. I'm disappointed with myself, you are right though. This could lead to a big feud, and I've already started looking at my notes for what I'm writing at the moment.

Of course it should be one on one, they were the former tag champs. Anything less than one on one would be unfair.

Mason Westhoff has been in the fed for 3 weeks and after week 2 he was given a chance to be on the top of the tag division. From a kayfabe perspective how does that make sense when compared to guys like Saxton and Saboteur, who have been in the fed for over a year, and Howard and Stormrage, who have been in the fed for 6 months more or less?

Well to be fair, when RRR started we got a title shot right off the bat, and it was right after Reynolds failed to win the world title and Ricky's third show. We got two more shots after that for the only real reason being we were one of the few tag teams in the division.

Yeah let me clarify the tag title situation a little: Basically I had the task of taking two guys out for a period of time, making the champions look strong in defence, making sure there was soemthing set for post PPV and still developing the other team that lies within the division. I was originally going to do something different and thought, y'know what? Clusterfuck works best to cover all scenarios and as such, we have what we have. Not my best by any means, but I felt it did the job. Glad to see it's getting a solid reaction.

More reason than MOM getting a shot. They lost a vote, but left with the titles after the champs imploded.

To be fair though, I had only a handful of matches under my belt when I won the Elite X championship, and only one win (in a battle royale). The title match was my first pinfall victory here, which I still maintain I didn't deserve. And besides, if New Church, as a team, are RPing at a comparable level to others in the division in the eyes of creative, then why shouldn't they get a shot?

Bastard. You ever commented on my match. :(

And I'm not mad, at staff or anyone. You can ask Alex, I'm a huge Gm mark. Ask him how many times I've talked to him bringing him back.

I'm incredibly happy that the match went the way it did. You two have the potential to have one of WZCW's all time greatest feuds. This match shouldn't have even been on the card. This feud deserves a fucking year build (And I know exactly how I'd build it) and not a throwaway match on Apocalypse.

I'm glad to see that it's continuing and I hope it continues like this for a good while.

I have a record of 16 wins and 10 losses... I've had one title shot my entire career.

Creative just couldn't deny that we were the logical choice. Our defeat of the geezers and the monkey and boy wonder duo was inevitable.

The geezers who defeated us both in singles tonight?

Oh, and since I'm updating my WZCW profile, do any of you on creative have any objections to me having a gimmick entrance?

I'm genuinely shocked at that, mainly because Celeste is one of my favorite characters, even before I applied with X. I know Celetse has never won a title but I just assumed she'd have had multiple shots in the past.

Well then pm me with the idea. I would like to hear it. Please?

The triple threat at this past Lethal Lottery was the first shot at a title I've ever had... and due to real life extenuating circumstances I was forced to no show.

I think I'm 17 and 16 here, and I've got two. I like to think that you'll be seeing some main event spotlight soon. Because Tbh, your roleplays are allways solid man.

Hey, what can you do? Sometimes even the decrepit can manage a victory here and there.

Fuck, that's really shocking. But like Phatso says, your RP's are great, and barring bad luck it's only a matter of time you get some kind of title. I still feel like I've got no right to critique RP's, but your work is more than capable of winning championships.

To elaborate, there was a tag turmoil clusterfuck, and nobody won.

That said, the belt stayed with the right team, and I'm pretty happy with how it ended. The belts should never have been defended in such a gimmicky way in the first place, especially on this PPV, and especially with one of the challengers being a thrown together tag team, and especially with one of the teams being brand new and far less worthy of a title shot than Strikeforce.

But I like what's being done here. I think there's the possibility for a 3 team feud in the future, and while that might be a little hard to coordinate for both creative and the RP'ers, it has potential.
Not my fault we beat you. :p

Personally, I wasn't a fan. This and the Mentorship scraps made the show look like a mess of backstage brawls this side of TNA circa 2009. I'm not blaming you or anyone though. You had a few people that needed to be written off. Maybe I should've said something after the boards closed, but I feel the injury angles should've led to SaxSab/New Church then. Strikeforce would retain their chance since they never got it and Constantine would be written out with a mystery attacker for future potential.

But to be really honest, I'm just frustrated that I got nowhere fast after working on 3 RP's I spent detailed time on. I always had that fear about tag teaming and it literally happened on my first outing. But what's done is done. I feel like playing some Link To The Past now. I need to drown out my little bro's constant screaming. He keeps yanking his hair. Ciao.
