I normally bold narrative, put on italics anything that's a thought and not spoken out loud and color code speech to differentiate the people.

Back when I first started it was because staff didn't want people going back and adding in something completely new to the RP and saying all they did was fix spelling.
Not sure if Ty & Co changed that rule or not though

I'm looking at the calibre of competitors. RRR have won matches AND Tag Titles & they're going up against a team where both competitors have only ever won 1(?) match.
Marquel's going up against a guy who lost his first match and a guy I've not actually heard of.

Correct. I'm fine with the window that's available for editing. You can't really do much in the time limit other than formatting and typos. I've done it myself so I have no problem with it.
