WZCW Bar

Spidey Revivey

Porn is okay here long as it ain't dudes.
Your character visits a bar. Any bar. They go up to the bartender and ask them for some good stuff. What would they order? What would the setting look like? Is a jukebox playing? If so, what songs would be playing?

Being a weird, prude figure of a man, Ramparte would ask for wine, and that wine would most likely be the most disgusting wine I can think of that I've tried, Merlot. It's red, it's dry, and it's nasty. Like him. Before Kingdom Come, I would say he would drink Chillable Red, another red wine, but he's abandoned the goofier, cheaper beverage for something meant to be more serious, but is still an unpopular vintage. Just ask Paul Giamatti in Sideways.

The bar would be your typical bar located near any college campus. This is where pseudo-intellectuals would gather, not necessarily your average frat rat. Expect hipsters and writers and Art Majors here. The bar has live music, but the musicians play one genre and one genre only, and that is Indy Jazz Nu Motown Freestyle Bullshit You've Never Heard Of. It's the epitome of pretension without any real flare. This is where Ramparte would be right now; in his eighth glass and pining over how important The Battle of Hastings was to Modern Literature.

Theron always orders berry flavored elven drinks, he had one in a specific castle that he loved and always tries to see if each bar he visits can live up to it, so far none has, but he loves that variety of drink.

This comes from my out-of-character love of Strawberry Margaritas. My DM made an amazing one with just the right amount of Everclear in it. The Strawberry Daquiri from the local Medieval Times arena is out of this world and stronger than Daquiris I've had elsewhere, even stronger than some Margaritas, this is the true inspiration for Theron's favorite drink.

Thus, Theron's drink of choice in real-world terminology is your strongest Strawberry Margarita, but he'll refer to in D&D terms. From his point of view The Merry Band Of Misfits are all with him in this bar. Kirilah whines about how they have better things to do, Sheshmish gets into Rum Drinking games with the local bar crowd, and Kaleesta is their counterpart of a designated driver. Bards play epic instrumentals onstage in the background resembling the Pirate theme from Final Fantasy 5.

Lexi would either get straight whiskey (due to her being southern) or she'd get the girliest drink she could think of, probably depending on her mood.

She'd be with her sister Jessica and it'd be somewhere in Texas that's only playing country music. There'd probably be people playing pool as well. Not sure what kind of people would be in there but I imagine Lexi would try to make friends with all of them.

M would be with the mysterious talking animals at Toogoolawah's (it's a place!) Main Street pub drinking bottles of crown lager to go along with his $10 Parma (it's a Thursday special). Meanwhile, Teru is off admiring the pokies machines sipping on an alcoholic banana and raspberry smoothie, and General Green is sitting at the bar ordering Johnnie Walker Black Label over and over trying to get drunk enough to not care that the bartender is a talking cow.

Whenever M's at a proper bar, however, he usually just tries to get the pinkest looking thing on the menu no matter what the taste is.

I could see Slaughter in the shittiest dive bar you could think of. The lighting is dim, the floors are dusty, the faux wooden bar top has more ring stains than a hooker's back pocket.

There's an old jukebox in the corner, that doesn't even require money to play, mainly populated with Conway Twitty and Willie Nelson classics. Slaughter sulks over to it and plays some 1983 SLAYER, which draws several puzzled looks from the regulars, to which he grins sheepishly and takes a seat at the farthest end of the bar, away from the few people who are there.

He orders the shittiest beer you can think of: Milwaukee Special Reserve, Natural Ice, something along those lines. Heavy, cheap, ice cold.

He speaks to no one, unless he is spoken to first, at which time he pounds down whatever remains in his can (because glasses are for rich people) and nods to the bartender for another.

It appears some....refinement will be necessary.

Oh and Ty could be seen in a quiet dark bar, maybe a jazz club, think smoke filled and expensive drinks. Of course he has his own private reserve of the finest whiskey so he could just as easily find himself drinking in quiet at his home.

Veejay will walk into the world's best bar and have a soothing cocktail, may be Espresso Martini. Bollywood music please...

Not familiar with the term...

That would be it for flavors. It's malt liquor, you're looking to get drunk for pennies. Flavor is an added bonus of any type.

Nah not looking for a cheap way to get drunk. It's 100% for the flavor. I'd probably like both of those, while leaning toward the mixed fruit one. Mike's Hard Strawberry Margarita remains my favorite when it comes to drinks I purchase to enjoy at home rather than at a bar, if that is any indication of what else I could try down the line.

You don't drink anything strong, do you?
