Getting Noticed By Management
Well, because why not.

Who else here loves to cook? I make a great deal of pizzas, grill steaks, do just about anything with chicken, grill it with a dry rub, bread it and do it on the skillet, make wings, which I prefer to fry or grill rather than bake. There are also some cooking shows that I watch and I'm also always looking to expand what I cook, however.

How about you ladies and gents, surely there are folks on here who grill, cook, fry, etc?

I'm ServSafe and foodhandler licensed. I know my way around a kitchen for sure boyo.

Also from the South, so I can fry some stuff up. Anything I can compose with my own hands is my favorite kind of dish. I love whipping up eggrolls, ravioli, sandwich wraps, etc. If it takes precision with a knife and needs to be cut into a fine julienne or cubes, I'm all for it too.

Curious about fish dishes lately though. If anyone has some tips on how to prepare some I'd listen. Wouldn't mind trading recipes either.

I make quite good sloppy joes, which is rare in England because most people don't know what a sloppy joe is. And my potato wedges can't be beat.

Over the past year I've begun catering pig roasts; I've been running one every year as part of a disc golf tournament I run each September, but that developed into helping a friend run a roast while he was restarting his business (Kickstarter rewards), which networked its way into me tearing apart the kitchen every few weeks to run another one for (birthday party/corporate outing/someone else's disc golf tournament/etc.)

Currently it's a lot of fun, and fairly profitable for the work that goes into it. I'm using a Caja China roaster right now (and they're freakin' awesome), but I'm currently seeing if I'm serious enough about this to purchase a whole-hog smoker.

At 3am this morning, my fridge broke. To spare the milk, my wife and I have just made 4 pounds of Mac and Cheese.

Sleep.
Conquer.
Repeat.

Nope. That just doesn't have the same ring to it that "Eat." does.
