The Brooklyn Brawler could be the man to finally bring TNA to dominance. Discuss.
I'm glad you asked me this question because I was thinking about this just the other day whilst smoking the scama with my main man RVD and Hugh Heffner at my secret room at the Playboy Mansion, and this is what I came up with.
Now just go with me here. So Taz (ONE Z....ONE) comes out on Impact on Thursday and announces that he is going to be scouting people for future positions in the MEM. He says that he's narrowed it down to a few people. Out comes his friend Joey Numbers, Matt Morgan and (insert any Italian wrestler here). Taz says that he is going to talk it over with the rest of the MEM and will be offering a position to one of these men at the Hard Justice PPV this Sunday.
Fast forward to Sunday and Taz is once again in the middle of the ring, surrounded by the 3 prospective members and begins to speak. He says that the future member of the MEM is going to be Italian and thus Matt Morgan leaves the ring. He then says that the future member is from his home town of Brooklyn, NY and the random, obscure Italian wrestler leaves the ring. Taz then extends his hand to his old friend Joey Numbers when the lights go out. Take Me Out To The Ball Game begins to blare over the loudspeakers and when the lights come back on The Brooklyn Brawler is standing in the ring behind Joey Numbers with a Louisville Slugger. He turns around and TBB hits him with the bat, picks him up and hits the dreaded Swinging Neckbreaker Slam (listed as his finisher on Wikipedia

), and he and Taz embrace in the ring.
Later in the evening he helps both Samoa Joe win the X-Division title and Kurt Angle retain the TNA Championship by beating Sting with his own bat whilst the ref has his back turned. This starts a long 6 month feud between him and Sting in which TBB develops many captivating catch phrases like "If you're wondering why the ball is getting bigger, don't worry......it will hit you soon enough" and "YEEERRRRRRRRR OUTTA THERE". He goes on to beat Sting for the TNA Championship at Lethal Lockdown 2010 and becomes the number 1 heel in the company.
About 2 months before Slammiversary, he is in-ring, cutting a promo when he is attacked from behind by a masked man carrying a baseball bat. The masked man is revealed to be WWE Hall of Famer Pete Rose and the 2 go on to have a 5-star baseball bat on a pole match at Slammiversary for the TNA Championship, bringing TNA to the forefront of the wrestling world.
