Well when you make the squad for a team in a paid league you get paid, simple as that. It's what I did and it's finally paying off - I'm not spending another year playing first division VAFA senior football as an u19 against AFL players, so I'm playing my final u19 year as a paid player in a different league and quite frankly I'm killing it.

M dives into the pool and reminisces about the days when playing footy was just for fun.
