WWElites, Blue Team

all right Blue Team I have an idea for a thread series and Jglass likes it but I need help with Specifics.

The Thread idea: Smackdown MVP for (Put the date here)

Now i would be basing this on a set of criteria but right now i only have 2 and need a few more

the 2: Crowd Reaction & Quality of their match.

Theo, I'll be...

Name: Dwayne Morrison
Tagline: It matters not weather you win or lose. What matters is whether I win or lose
Brand: Blue brand

PS: Sorry JGlass, Jason Morrison didn't flow properly. Dwayne has a better flow with Morrison.

PPS: Thanks again, Theo.

Consistency (Match wise over the last three weeks)
Promos
Things you liked
Things you hated

JGlass, you my friend are a savior and a scholar.

Milenko you could also use promo/mic time as a criteria for the MVP thread (which is a great idea bee tee dubs).

Don't use consistency as a factor. That could be used for MVP of the month or something, but not week. I like the idea that anyone could be the MVP of the week. More likely than not it'll be Randy Orton or Christian or Cody Rhodes, but who knows, maybe Jinder Mahal will shock the world and cut a great promo and put on a great match, or maybe Trent Baretta will come out of nowhere and put on an absolute clinic in the ring.

Things you liked and hated seem like things you would bring into judging the overall quality of the show, not an individual's performance.

Definitely definitely DEFINITELY include promos though, because often times a great promo is the best part of a show.

Don't worry i will

and as for the idea itself it just popped into my head when I read Jglass' post telling people to PM him with thread series' ideas

When you put it like that it does seem like a bad idea.

again great point

I will

So what I've got so far is.

Crowd Reaction
Promo/Mic time
Quality of their match

I'm thinking 1 (maybe2) more and I'll be set.

Just no "what match got you into *insert wrestler here* threads ;)

use of Ring Psychology
How they handle their character (so Randy doing a splits couple weeks ago would get huge marks off of him since he's a tweener more than a face)

I like the 2nd one but Ring Psychology is not something I've ever really paid attention to so I doubt I'll add that.

I don't want it to seem like I'm shooting down your ideas, DJ, but I don't like the use of ring psychology. While no matches can really be that good without use of ring psychology, there have been some pretty good spot fests throughout the history of wrestling.

Handling of the character isn't a bad one, though. If Cody Rhodes wrestles Daniel Bryan, and Daniel Bryan wins and wrestles a great match, Cody could still be the MVP if he wrestled a very good match and really developed the darker aspects of his character after the match is over by beating down Bryan, cutting a promo, or throwing a fit.

I took the Handling of the Character one so that gives me 4.

I'm good but feel free to still shoot me ideas. I may add 1 more if it's good.

I also like the idea of having a weekly profile of a Smackdown star. This would entail writing a short biography about them (one to three paragraphs), recapping their most recent feud and the feud they are currently in, and analyzing their strengths and weaknesses as a character. From there you can ask questions, and you can include some of the same questions for each star you review (Do you think X will win his match with Y at the PPV? What do you think is next for X?) and a few that vary from wrestler to wrestler (Do you see Cody getting a title shot before SurvivorSeries? Do you think Daniel Bryan has a future of main eventing in the WWE?).

Milenko already has the MVP idea, so I'd prefer someone else taking the lead on this one. First person to volunteer gets it.

I'll do it

PS: I don't feel like you're shooting me down. Its constructive criticism. Besides, who else would correct me?

You've got it dude. Feel free to start with whoever you want, but make sure it's a current Smackdown Superstar.

And Theo, I don't know if you've decided on who your character is going to be, but I'd consider it a sing if you aren't Theo Long.

Him and Ted Dibiase were the obvious choices for me considering the names haha. That is why I didn't bother putting them down. I'll be Theo Long though, no shame there. Holla holla playa.

not that this really matters but I plan on making at least 2 SD posts a day and 2 General WWE posts (these will be anywhere) for a total of at least 4 WWE posts a day.

Unfortunately, its like 2 AM here so I'm gonna head off to sleep but I'll be sure to do it tommorow.

I do love Eugene. I just made one about Taker though, so maybe I'll think of something for Eugene tomorrow.

I was gonna go to bed, but figured I'd make a post in the Taker thread you just posted JGlass. However now it is time for me to hit the hay. G'night boys. Hopefully I'll have those sigs ready sometime this afternoon.
