WWE vs TNA: Booking the new Monday Night Wars

Christian Battlez

Getting Noticed By Management
I'm sick of hearing alot of people complain about the direction of WWE and TNA programming. Also I have quite a few ideas jumbled in my head about things I'd like to do given control of either TNA or WWE. So I'm going to post them in this thread. I will do weekly shows, pay per view events, and post news bits such as releases, trades ect. in this thread. Any feedback you may have on any of the shows may be posted here as well just let me know which of the shows your providing feedback for...

Ex:Raw,Impact,Smackdown,NXT,Superstars,or a ppv event. I plan on doing this on my own for now but if it gets to be too much work I'll recruit the best partner for the job. I still intend on doing the Raw vs Smackdown thread I started with Unholy Profit this is just a project I wanted to do and I have to have something to keep me busy while he writes his show. Here is all the information you will need for this thread.

This seems interesting, I look forward to seeing how you go about booking TNA especially.
BTW, push Roode, Dinero, Wolfe and Daniels. Also turn AJ face.
As far as the WWE side goes, I'm the most interested by what you'll do with NXT. Should be good.

Ah c'mon Battlez. This is a Book This I was thinking about doing, if I ever get everything laid out, that is. Oh well, I guess I'll have to out do you then :-)

Good luck, I'm interested in this man. Push Pope!

Welll.....mine will be better 4FoF...wait a sec...didn't we start doing this ourselves 4FoF...grr.

Yeah I'm looking most forward to booking TNA. They could really use the help and I already planned on booking those guys. I like heel AJ though so don't count on him switching back just yet.

I'm sure everyone wanted to do this idea. Good luck :)

HA to both of you!

Theo and I have already started working and formatting this exact Book This!

EAT IT!

Eat What? lol Seriously I'm looking forward to seeing all of the various BT threads that come up as peoples own versions of the Wars. Should be interesting.

this does look to be very interesting
push Brutus Magnus and Desmond wolfe and sign some free agents that arent old
enough of my little rant best wishes to you and thins book

As for the title "The New Monday Night Wars" i understand why were calling it that, but i wouldn't call it a war. TNA acts like there gonna make such big impact and what not yet they havn't even dented the WWE.

I lost my internet connection for awhile and forgot about this thread. Someone brought that to my attention. I'll try to work on this one when I have spare time too.

Mike Tenay: Hello TNA fans and welcome to TNA Impact! I'm Mike Tenay along with my broadcast partner Tazz and we have a huge show here for you tonight!

Tazz: No doubt about that Mike. Tonight the TNA World Heavyweight Champion is in action against the hottest free agent signing in professional wrestling Jeff Hardy in a non-title match. If Hardy wins he is the number one contendor for Lockdown.

Mike Tenay: Also the Vacant TNA Tag Team titles fate will be decided by TNA Chairman Hulk Hogan.

Tazz: Speaking of which here comes the Hulkster!

Hulk Hogan: Well you know something TNAmaniacs, I have in my hand here the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Now there are alot of great tag teams in TNA Wrestling Brothers. So the only thing I can think of thats fair in crowning new TNA World Tag Team Champions dude. Is to have a eight team tournament starting tonight. The matchups will be determined at random brother. But these are the teams, Beer Money, The Motorcity Machine Guns, Team 3D, Generation Me, The British Invasion, LAX, and Matt Morgan you can pick a tag team partner brother. As far as the last spot well that one is gonna be a surprise dude. So good luck to all of tonights teams as well as Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles in tonight's main event.

Motorcity Machine Guns vs Generation Me
Sabin and Max Buck start the match with a lockup, Sabin turns it into a wristlock and throws Max off the ropes and hits a dropkick. He tags Alex in and holds Max up so Shelley can hit Sliced Bread #2. Alex goes for the cover and Jeremy Buck breaks it up after two. Alex waits for Max to get to his feet before delivering a hard kick to his midsection then an enzuiguiri to the back of his head. He reaches out for a tag to Chris Sabin and gets it. Alex sets Max Buck up in the tree of woe and runs off the opposite side of the ring doing a baseball slide, followed by a hesitation dropkick by Chris Sabin.Shelley leaves the ring and Sabin goes for another cover but this time Max Buck kicks out. Jeremy Buck and Alex Shelley both enter the ring and the Guns hit them with stereo enzuiguiris! Alex throws Jeremy Buck over the top rope and climbs the top rope as Sabin holds Max up onto his shoulders. Shelley leaps off and nails a missile dropkick while Sabin has him up calling the move the Doomsday Dropkick! Sabin goes for anohter cover and Jeremy tries to get back in the ring but is met with anohter baseball slide as the Guns pick up the three count.
Winners by pinfall: Motorcity Machine Guns

we cut backstage now to Eric Bischoff's office....

Eric Bischoff: Jeff I'm glad you came to see me.

Jeff Jarrett: What do you want Eric?

Eric Bischoff: I wanted to let you know that I've booked you in a match tonight, against Kurt Angle!

Jeff Jarrett: Eric you know Kurt isn't even in the right mindset to be here right now let alone face me in a match. He is gonna break the locker room code he may even try to hurt me out there tonight.

Eric Bischoff: Oh I'm counting on it Jeff.

Jeff Jarrett: Your a sick son of a bitch Eric.

Eric Bischoff: Good luck Jeff.

British Invasion vs LAX
Brutus Magnus and Hernandez started the match off. Hernandez starts the match off with a clothesline, he then picks Magnus up and tosses him into the corner and pounds him with some right hands before tossing him back onto the mat and tags in Homicide. He lifts Magnus onto his shoulders and drops him out facefirst as Homicide hits the Gringo Cutter. Hernandez leaves the ring and Homicide tags him back in for a fresh count. Hernandez catapults Magnus into a clothesline from Homicide. Homicide then runs off the opposite ropes and does a running senton dropping Magnus's back into Hernandez's knees. Finally Hernandez hits the Bordertoss on Magnus and tags Homicide back in who hits a Frog Splash on Brutus. Hernandez knocks Williams off the apron and Homicide gets the three count.
Winners by pinfall: LAX

We cut backstage to the interview area where we are with the TNA Knockouts Champion Tara and Jeremy Borash...

Jeremy Borash: Tara, How do you feel about you as well as the rest of the TNA Knockouts being left off of the show tonight?

Tara: I feel like its a travesty considering all of the hard work we knockouts put into this company and this buisiness, that were not even on the card.

Jeremy Borash: Word going around the locker room Tara is that the reason you weren't on the card tonight is because Hulk Hogan isn't too high on the Knockouts, your thoughts on that?

Tara: My thoughts on that are if Hulk Hogan has a problem with me or the rest of the Knockouts then he has a problem with TNA, and I hope Dixie Carter rethinks her position on Hulk being in this company as a fellow woman and what kind of image her company is showing by having those kind of people around.

Kurt Angle vs Jeff Jarrett
Angle jumps JJ before the bell and slaps on the Ankle Lock on the outside. The official finally gets Kurt to let him go and let Jeff get in the ring. He asks Jeff if he wants to go through with the match and he says yes. Kurt goes after the Ankle Lock again and has Jeff locked in. Jeff refuses to tap and Karen Angle walks down to the ramp Kurt is shocked and distracted and Jeff is able to roll through and get a quick pinfall victory with a rollup.
Winner by pinfall: Jeff Jarrett

Jeff leaves with Karen Angle as we head back to the locker room of the World Champion AJ Styles...

AJ Styles: I can't believe I have to face Jeff Hardy tonight.

Ric Flair: It will be fine champ, you have the Nature Boy in your corner, plus you have the lovely Maria Kanellis on your arm as well.

Maria: That's right champ. You make me so happy, your gonna be the greatest champion to ever live.

Ric Flair: Next to the Nature Boy WOOOOOO!

AJ Styles: That's right I am the champ, Let's get to my match.

David Penzer: Making his way to the ring from Cameron North Carolina weighing in at 215 lbs. JEFF HARDY!

David Penzer: and his opponent from Gainesville Georgia, being accompanied by Maria and the Nature Boy Ric Flair, weighing in at 215 lbs. He is the TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, THE PHENOMENAL AJ STYLES!

Jeff Hardy vs AJ Styles w/Ric Flair & Maria
Both men lock up and AJ does an arm drag, Hardy gets to his feet quickly and does a dropkick, AJ kicks up and both men stare each other down as the crowd pops. AJ Charges Hardy and Jeff pulls down the ropes causing AJ to fall to the outside, then Hardy slingshots over the ropes onto AJ Styles. The ref begins his count as both men get to their feet, AJ pokes Hardy in the eye then climbs onto the apron he springboards off the ropes into a backflip taking Hardy out on the outside. Both men eventually get up and get into the ring. They trade right hands and Jeff hits AJ with a jawbreaker AJ gets stunned for a moment and falls back against the ropes, Jeff dropkicks him out of the ring and heads up top and does a senton onto AJ and Flair. When they both get up Jeff throws AJ back in the ring and climbs up top for the Swanton Bomb but Flair gets up on the apron. Jeff kicks him off but it gives AJ enough time to hit the ropes and cause Jeff to fall on the turnbuckle. AJ hits a Pele on Hardy while he is on the top rope. Hardy falls onto the mat and AJ climbs to the outside of the apron and hits the springboard 450 splash. Hardy kicks out at 2. AJ sets Jeff up for the Styles Clash but Jeff counters with a backdrop when AJ gets up he hits the Twist of Fate. Jeff goes up top and hits the Swanton Bomb, Hardy goes for the cover but Flair comes in and breaks it up causing a DQ.
Winner by DQ: Jeff Hardy

Flair drops onto Jeff's knee a few times and then puts him in the figure four leglock. He won't let go until RVD comes down to clear the ring. He chases AJ and Flair off and helps Jeff to his feet RVD's music plays to end the show..

Really like this episode o Impact.I would watch this instead of the actual stuff they put out.I liked how you had a tag tournament and the matchs were short but not to short.

I thought that your Hogan slang was really good and not just another bad try at it.I don't know about Hogan being Chairman of TNA but I'll go with it.

One last thing, is Jeff Jarrett a face or heel.Cause when he was in the office of Eric I thought he was a face. But then he took advantage with Karen distracting Kurt and rolling him up.

All over good show with the matchs and the Backstage stuff, really exciting to read.

Jarrett is a face right now. He didn't know Karen was gonna come out but he used the distraction like a smart wrestler should. JJ is a veteran in this buisiness and should wrestle like one if im too properly depict his character. Thanks for your input Raw should be up in an hour or so.

Michael Cole: Hello WWE fans and welcome to Monday Night Raw! I'm Michael Cole alongside Jerry the King Lawler and tonight's main event is huge.

Jerry Lawler: That's right Michael because the WWE Champion John Cena is going one on one with the Number One Contendor to the World Heavyweight Championship Randy Orton. What a match made by our Guest Host.

Michael Cole: Speaking of which who is our Guest Host? I haven't heard anything on wwe.com about that.

Vince McMahon: I bet your all wondering where the Guest Host of tonight's broadcast is. Well I won't keep you waiting any longer there is no Guest Host because the Guest Host concept is dead and buried. There will no longer be Guest Hosts on Monday Night Raw! I don't have to keep that going Donald Trump made that stipulation not me. Also as of tonight I am going to be taking a firmer stance in my company. I'm going to do things the McMahon way. Let me start off by changing tonight's main event. Instead of John Cena vs Randy Orton. It's gonna be John Cena teaming with Randy Orton against Batista and the World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger! If a champion pins one of the men on the other team he will retain his title. By that same token if one of the challengers pins someone on the other team he will win his opponents championship. For example if Randy Orton pinned Batista he would win the World Heavyweight Championship even though he didn't pin the champion. But if John Cena made Jack Swagger submit he would not win the World Heavyweight Championship he would just retain the WWE title. Good luck to all four of tonight's competitors.

Michael Cole: What a main event made by Mr.McMahon. We thought we were gonna get Orton vs Cena in a non-title match instead we get a match involving Jack Swagger and Batista as well with both the WWE and World titles on the line!

Jerry Lawler: So Swagger or Cena can lose their titles without being pinned or submitting but they can't win the other championship thats not fair.

Michael Cole: It's sure to be quite the test for the champions and their challengers as they prepare for Extreme Rules this Sunday.

Justin Roberts: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Unified Tag Team Championships. WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Match
Showmiz(c) vs MVP & Mark Henry
Miz and MVP start the match. Lock up and an arm drag by MVP which catches the Miz off guard. Miz springs to his feet and is met by a shoulder tackle by MVP. MVP applies a chinlock now and Miz gets to his feet and breaks the hold with a few elbows to the sternum. Miz hits a jawbreaker which staggers MVP then he hits him with a clothesline, followed up with a knee drop. Miz goes for the cover but gets two. Miz irish whips MVP into the corner and hits his signature clothesline into the turnbuckle. He then climbs to the top rope and waits for MVP to get to his feet. When he does Miz leaps off and MVP sidesteps him sending Miz crashing to the canvas. Both men tag in their partners. Henry runs off the ropes and charges at Big Show but can't budge him. Big Show tries as well to no avail. Finally Henry lifts Big Show off his feet and slams him. Henry runs off the ropes and splashes Big Show. He goes for the cover but Miz breaks it up. MVP comes in and clotheslines Miz over the top rope. Henry tries another splash but Big Show rolls out of the way. Both men are fighting on the outside and Miz irish whips MVP into the steel steps. Big Show nails Henry with a right hand and goes for the cover and gets a three count.

Back in Mr.McMahon's office...

Christian: Mr.McMahon I need to talk with you.

Mr.McMahon: What is it Christian?

Christian: I don't feel like your using me in this company properly. I feel like your always gonna treat me like a midcard guy no matter what I've accomplished or what my peeps want. I want my release.

Mr.McMahon: Tell you what Christian whichever championship is on Raw come next Monday after Extreme Rules I will make you the number one contendor for, and if both of them are you get to choose. How's that?

Christian: That's great! Thanks Mr.McMahon for the opportunity. I won't let you or my peeps down.

Ted rocks the ropes up and down with Bourne on them until Bourne falls to the mat. Ted runs off the ropes and when Bourne gets up he gets met with a huge lariat clothesline. Ted waits for Bourne to get up and sets up for Dreamstreet, Bourne counters into an arm drag. Ted leans against the corner and Bourne monkey flips him into the center of the ring. Bourne drags Dibiase to the far corner and heads up top for Air Bourne. Evan leaps off the top rope and crashes and burns. Ted lifts him up and hits Dreamstreet for the three count.

Really enjoyed this episode of Raw.I liked how you stopped with the host thing that's going on.I think that maybe next week Vince will tell us who is the GM or if he is doing it by himself.

I did think that the first promo for Vince was a little rushed.I see what you were tell me about mine.Just a thought that maybe a little more from Vince.

Lastly I didn't like the fact that Christian ask to leave and basically tells McMachon off and gets a title match. That didn't seem right and if I were Vince I wouldn't be giving him a title match at all.

All over a good show, with great matchs and very exciting. The announcing was great and I enjoyed reading.

I like to have the authority figures get right to the point and leave so the wrestling can commence. He said what he had to say and that was that. There should be a decision on whos gonna run Raw soon. As far as Christian I felt Vince needed to acknowledge Christian was deserving of a title shot and this was how I chose to go about it. Thanks for your input keep it coming. NXT is up next.
