JIM ROSS:
Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Monday Night RAW, im Jim Ross alongside my new broadcast partner John Bradshaw Layfield, JBL, what a night its going to be, fresh of the heels of Wrestlemania.

JBL:
Thats right JR, Wrestlemania provided us with some shocks and im sure we will see the ramifications tonight.

JIM ROSS:
First though MVP is in the ring with the VIP Lounge!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MVP:
You all see the set up and you know the drill, once again MVP is in the ring and that can only mean one thing, big things poppin’ little things stopping. So all of you just sit back, relax and enjoy the view, cos the VIP Lounge is for people like MVP... BETTER THAN YOU!

Now im gonna take you back to last night, the stage was set, Wrestlemania, Money In The Bank, MVP was atop the ladder ready to take the case when this happened...

On the titantron is footage of Captain Charisma Christian Cage throwing MVP from the top of the ladder and grabbing the briefcase, MVP looks up at Christian celebrating and the leaves the ring.

MVP:
Now that should have been me, the franchise player holding that briefcase not Christian so im here to issue a challenge for Christian to defend his Money In The Bank briefcase against me MVP at Backlash, come on Christian, what you say?

MVP is interrupted by the Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment, Vince McMahon, MVP looks shocked as the boss stands on the stage with a mic in hand.

Mr. McMahon:
MVP, im gonna make it real clear for you... playa. Your the best new talent to come out of this company in years so as the boss im going to make it happen, at Backlash Christian will defend his briefcase against you, seeing how it is the money in the bank im gonna make it... A LADDER MATCH!!

JIM ROSS:
Straight from the top, MVP has his match at Backlash!

Mr. McMahon:
As far as Monday Night RAW goes, that match will be the last I make for a while as im taking some time of, so ive had to hire a General Manager to look after things around here so let me introduce you to him

Vince turns around and looks at the entrance after a delay he turns around and points to the ring where JBL is standing. MVP leaves the ring

Mr. McMahon:
The new general manager of RAW... JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD!

JBL:
Thank you Mr. McMahon, now RAW has become stale and stagnant so im here to freshen things up a bit, starting with tonights main event. Last night Chris Jericho became the World Heavyweight Champion in a triple threat match beating the former champion Edge and Batista so he needs a challenger for Backlash, so tonight Batista will go one on one with Jeff Hardy to determine the new number one contender.

JIM ROSS:
Whoa! What an announcement for the new GM, looks like I will be calling tonight alone now my partner has been promoted.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
