WWE to TNA, TNA to WWE.

Getting Noticed By Management
This thread is NOT comparing the 2 companies, it is merely asking wrestling fans which Wrestlers could jump ship and join a rival in the future.

A few things got me thinking about this,, One of the main ones was Randy Orton's suspension, a lot of people said TNA would snap him up and he would thrive there as a main eventer.

Another example was Christian, people said he would be more relevant in TNA than WWE.

If we look at TNA they have some amazing talent. Sting is one who has NEVER set foot in WWE. Would Sting be a draw? i think so. Another is Bully Ray (one of the best talkers and heels at the moment) Jeff Hardy is another who one day could return to WWE (Seems clean and he is ultra popular).

Kurt Angle is the main one in my opinion. Loads are saying he is the best Wrestler of all time, but he likes his days/weeks off which he gets with TNA.

This is just my outlook on things and we might get a treat in the future with Kurt Angle or Sting working a Wrestlemania before they retire, hell who knows we might even see Hogan again in WWE at some point. Punk might end up in TNA or Cena might think to himself "i'm getting to old and the laid back style of TNA suits me"

I understand TNA did take legal action over WWE for poaching thier talent recently. Over the last 12 months there doesn't seem to be many that have switched companies (Mat Morgan teased it recently)

Main question is coming, please avoid flaming either WWE or TNA.

Who do you think might jump ship to the other company?

The only person from TNA I'm sure about is The Pope. The guy is a hell of a talent, he's not main event material but he could be a good mid-carder if given the chance, and TNA just don't seem to bother with him anymore, so why stay. I know the WWE gave up on him after the New Breed-ECW Originals feud but times have changed, the mid-card division in the WWE isn't what it used to be anymore, they could use some new blood especially when it comes to the IC & US Titles, and I could easily see Pope getting a nice run with either one of the belts. Plus the feuds & matches Pope could have there with the likes of Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Antonio Cesaro, Christian and more, would be a treat to watch. But then again, I've heard that CM Punk has some beef with Pope and he probably would use some of his power backstage to keep Pope from coming back. I don't really want Pope to leave TNA though, I think it would be a nice twist actually if he was revealed as a member of Aces & Eights. Pope's style kinda fits the A&8's group if you think about it, and the Aces & Eights group would be a good opportunity to re-use guys like Pope, Anderson and others like them who have been sitting on the sidelines for the majority of the year.

Samoa Joe should have signed with WWE and if they ended up using him right I would watch religiously to this day and he would be the biggest Samoan wrestler of all time. Bigger than Snuka or the Rock or Yokozuna's ass. Alright, maybe not that big but I think it would have been awesome.

I guess he's not technically in TNA anymore but I always thought Alex Shelley could do decent in the WWE. He's got tons of charisma and is super innovative and fun to watch. I think he could tear it up on Smackdown.

I'm surprised TNA didn't jump all over the chance to sign Morrison and Melina, or maybe they did who knows but I'm surprised he isn't wrestling there right now. I actually think he would fit in better there too.

I would love to see an invasion angle like n.w.o to wcw, led by Mr Anderson and with the members James Storm, Bobby Roode, The Pope, Kevin Steen. Maybe Hulk Hogan as Manager and reforming the n.W.o.

WWE to TNA
Wade Barrett- I just think he can do so much better and he doesn’t try. I am not saying he cant talk, but his promos do nowhere. He had this new persona and nothing be comes back with a move worse then wasteland. It’s like he's not trying to reinvent himself, he is just accepting the push and that’s it. It worked for Christian.
All Divas- they just need to learn from the knockouts.
Alberto- Another person that may be really good but I don’t think his promos are good and his ring work is a little boring. Although HITC was a good match.
Sin Cara- I think he could go over better in the X division. I think Del Rio too would be better off with the faster pace as well
Miz- I just don’t want to see him in wrestling period so TNA would be a good start.

TNA to WWE
Roode- he are top in the company, are great in the ring and at talking. He gets over. I think he could hold his own. At least on the level of Ziggler, Bryan and Barrett.
Storm- Same reason as Roode.
Aries- Same as the other two, But I think he is a little bit better.
Sting- isn’t it about time for obvious reasons.
Jeff Hardy- If he stays clean and keeps up the way he is when he came back recently.
Most of the Knockouts- we need a better women’s division

People who shouldn’t leave TNA;
Kurt Angle- I think mentally there is something wrong with him now. Undeniable talent but there something wrong with him.
Joe- I am not saying he is bad, but I don’t see the star aspect of it in him. I mean when Umaga came with the face paint he tried coming with the face paint.
AJ- another good wrestler. But same thing I just never sat back and was like I got to see him in that match. The Star thing isn’t there.
Also I may be a little biased I do not watch TNA religiously. Even with Aces and Eights thank god because the two revealing members were a bust. I loved it when the knockouts had stronger segments.

People who shouldn’t leave WWE;
I mainly think top talent. I think all mid carders could at least benefit a little if they were put in that situation. Again it worked for Christian. Also I would like to see some matches with Orton, Bryan, Kane, with some stars in TNA, but I don’t think I would want them to stay.

i think we gotta try to figure out what the OP is saying first and foremost. when hes says jumping ship hes referring to incident similar to Savage's debut in WCW, Rude on Nitro and a taped Raw, and the momentum can't be maintained if there arent strong links between previous personas. I mean the similarities between Scott Hall and Razor Ramon or Diesel and Nash as opposed to how Daniel Bryan is divergent from ROH's American Dragon or how WCW's Ron Simmons differed from Farooq Asad in a roman gladiator helmet. There can NOT be any starting over.

The names and music need to be the same or pretty close.

One can't feud with maineventers in TNA then be in the tag division of WWE..

Direct references or allusions have to be made to the former employer.

No wardrobe or mentality overhauls..

From WWE:
Kofi (WWE is never gonna let him go above the U.S. & I-C title)
DiBiase
Regal
Orton
Carlito (not directly but still)
Zeke
Jericho
Barrett

From TNA:
Kurt Angle [he has got to get his size, hair, and music back.. TNA can't handle him when he is at his peak. once his personal and mental issues are repaired enough to let WWE deal with him.]

Samoa Joe [has peaked in TNA and WWE can take him to that next level so he truly can join Yoko, Rock, and Snuka, maybe, just maybe..]

Mr. Anderson/Kennedy [has to have whatever alleged kinks he had in WWE worked out. His new name sucks and his TNA edge combined with his WWE voice chops would complete him.]

AJ Styles [hes treated like yesterday's star. Hes treated like how Bob Backlund was treated by the WWF in the '90s.. WWE also needs a good southern wrestler to represent that fan base.]

All of the Knockouts would benefit the diva's division..

Robbie E coming to Ryder's defense as he turns heel, epic to me.

Mexican America reinforcing mysterio and sin cara, new monster chulo-voto clique.
