WWE/TNA Invasion

OK, I was watching this man made video on youtube of Kurt Angle on TNA and John Cena cutting a promo back from '05 on him. It was connected so well that it got me to think, what if Dixie Carter did a limited time offer with WWE for an angle at one point and did an invasion angle similar to the WCW invasion angle.

My question is now... do you think it can work like WCW ? Do you think it can help TNA or hurt it by doing and angle with WWE, and the same question for WWE?

I personally see it helping both companies in terms of ratings and ppv buys. I can also see it helping WWE wrestling a bit as they have to push themselves to wrestle with some guys in TNA. It'll also boost TNA because this would be a persona breaker and by the end they can revamp some personas for the better.

I was watching an old video TNA uploaded about how they tried to welcome the WWE guys graciously while WWE was shooting a Royal Rumble commercial. Rey (or Eddie, I could never tell who) was the only one who came out to acknowledge the recognition, and VKM (Vincent Kennedy McMahon, not Voodoo Kin Mafia) threatened to sue "everyone in the area," if I've got the quote right. So this won't happen.

But if it did, I wouldn't be a huge fan of it, simply because it's already been done. Sure, it will bring TNA into more people's homes than ever before, but it will end up ultimately hurting them. Why? Because Vince McMahon will sue whoever steps near him that's not one of his current employees, and TNA would go out of business, just like WCW did. And we don't want that now, do we?
