::Shakes head in disappointment:: Y2 Jake I know you will be disappointed by this comment but I kind of wish Mark Henry would get the title. At least it would be something different. Ever since WM 21 Batista and Cena have had the titles minus a few months here and there and an injury. It is the same thing over and over again for the last 2 years. I pray Kennedy cashes in money in the bank and wins the title ASAP to save us. It is enough that we will never get the title away from Cena now its the same thing with Batista.
I guess I didn't actually mean Mark Henry the point being anything is better than another boring/dull Dave Batista title reign. Someone should call Vince and tell him that Batista might even be more boring than Lance Storm.
Ya, I think how desperate I'm getting with the title situation. I almost would rather have Henry get the WHC over Batista and Khali win over Cena. At least if it's going to be bad, let it be piss poor bad. Obviously someone like Benoit and Michaels deserve it more, but if I was having to scrape the bottom of the barrel, I'd take Henry and Khali.
I couldnt agree more!!! Who would of thought that the most interesting title picture would be the ECW Title and that is around Vince McMahon. I didn't watched Smackdown in years but when the Undertaker came into the title picture I started to tivo it because the show was getting interesting again. I have 0 interest in watching Batista do squash matches and three moves.
You know what i'm thinking will happen is that Taker will defeat will Batista in a very short match. Then after they announce Taker as victor that Kennedy will come down to and cash in his MITB title shot and beat Taker...i meanhow he said hes not like Edge i mean WWE could play off that. I mean they could be rushing his title regin.

Smackdown:
*Smackdown opens with a promo on The Undertaker defending the WWE World championship against Batista in a Steel Cage match.
*WWE United States champion Chris Benoit & Matt Hardy defeated MVP & Finlay in a solid 15 minute bout after Benoit pinned MVP. The heels worked on Hardy's knee for a good portion of the bout and he limped all the way to the back.
*Another Steel Cage Match promo.
*Michelle McCool defeated Jillian Hall with a spinning neckbreaker. Hall "sang a song" before the match started.
*Backstage, Teddy Long told Kristal Marshall to have Vickie Guerrero come to Smackdown next week. Guerrero's name was booed. A new "country looking team" (Note from Mike: It's Freakin' Deacon - aka Fake Kane from Raw- and "Cousin Ray" - Terry Gordy's son Raw, both of whom most recently worked in Deep South Wrestling) appeared in the vignette and will be wrestling next week.
*They showed highlights of Edge capturing the Money in the Bank from Ken Kennedy on Raw.

The Undertaker vs. Batista for the WWE World championship inside a Steel Cage
They announced the match can be won by pinfall, submission or escape. Undertaker got a huge pop while Batista received a mixed reaction. Undertaker's arm is heavily braced and protected. Batista's right knee and quad is also taped up. The first five minutes saw some near falls. The crowd completely turned on Batista as he took control. Batista tried to escape but taker crotched him on the top rope. Taker took control for a moment, then both men hit each other with a clothesline and went down. Batista regained control of the match. Batista nearly scored a pinfall but Taker kicked up and regained control. He nailed a running clothesline in the corner then hit a big boot and a chokeslam for another near fall. Undertaker went for the Last Ride powerbomb but Barista countered and slammed Taker into the cage, busting him open. Batista nailed a spinebuster for a near fall. He tried to climb out of the cage but Undertaker caught him and nailed the Last Ride. Undertaker then tried to escape the cage. Batista began climbing out from another section of the cage, so both were trying to escape simultaneously. Both men hit the floor at the same time and it was announced as draw. Mark Henry came to ringside and attacked Taker.
Edge came out and cashed in his Money in the Bank title shot and began beating Taker, getting several near falls. Undertaker sat up, but was speared in the sitting position by Edge, who scored the pin. Edge is the new WWE World champion. The place went absolutely insane for the title change. After the match, Edge laid out Undertaker with the suitcase. Crowd then turned on Edge

Sweet Jesus, we saw it coming, but the WWE didn't fuck it up. Kudos to creative for putting the WHC on Edge and not settling for Big Dave Dudd once again, amazing. I'm giving props for the creative team on Smackdown, it's about damn time. This is great news, and shows how little faith that McMahon must have in Big Dave Dudd if he switched main players to avoid another Dudd title reign. Celebration.
yes def a good way to get the title off taker...i cant wait to c how this turns out on tv but all i have to say that the huge gap that was left open is slowlyl but surely starting to close..having edge on smackdown will no doubt setup new feuds and fresher things to come..

I kinda feel jipped by reading the spoilers. But I will watch anyway, I just hop edge gets a long title run and they don't take it off him too soon. Edge has become the best heel in the company right now, he has earned it. But I am also please Edge now has just as many titles as Cena.
Its just the perfect way to get the belt off Taker as it still make him good and that what was needed. Edge being on Smackdown will result in some damn good feuds and hopefully lead to what should be the WM 24 main event of Kennedy vs Edge. But ya i'm so overjoyed as look what is in store if the creative team plays their cards right: Edge vs Taker(when hes healthy) Edge vs Benoit ( been done before in 2005 but nice to see done again) Edge vs Finley (be some awesome matches there) Edge vsBooker( if Booker comes face i can see and has been done but that was in 2002) Edge vs Rey Rey (not to thrilled butstill good)

Snme set is already out, basically a combination of the Raw set with SNME logo in the middle, bottom of the tron.
On the top of the stage is a motorcycle, and there are NBC logos all over the arena. There is only one announce table at ringside.
This crowd is really hot, and only half the arena is full, people are already clapping and the ric flair whoo chants are in full force...
Wwe opening voice over and snme logo lights up on the set.
Wrestlemania retro video of this year that showed at the end of the PPV is on the tron... Huge negative pop for Cena.
The snme logo and set is on and raw announcer john roberts is in the ring talking up the crowd. Ecw ref in the ring as chuck polumbo does his biker intro.
Chuck rides out on the bike. About 7 minute match. Michael cole comes out to smackdown music for snme announcing followed by the king...
Tyson duxx of boarder city wrestling is his opponent. Chuck looks way bigger than the last time he was on tv. Not as lean. Local fans are chanting for duxx.

Biggest pop and firework show of all time at the ACC for Edge who gets a major hometown reaction.... Just amazing how pro crowd edge is. Poeses on top of corner.
Edge and mvp compare titles at ringside. Mvp and benoit start. Mvp gets to rope of crossface, tags in edhe too massive pop. Takes some benoit suplexs for a 2. Cutting Edge segment with Vince McMahon opened. Vince was still acting crazy. Funny flub by Edge where he mentioned it being Thursday (supposed to say Friday). They announced Edge vs. Batista for the PPV. In the end, Edge gave Vince his belt.
Mark Henry b Boogeyman with the world's strongest slam. Post-match saw Henry destroy Little Boogeman with a big splash. Seemed as if they were writing Little Boogeyman out.
Vickie Guerrero made the next few matches. Vince was backstage with Vickie, Teddy Long and Kristal. Vince was still acting strange. He put over Vickie, said Kristal was a problem and told Teddy he was watching him

I rekon i was pissed off as well. how many title shots is he having??? he lost to undertaker cleanly at wm then had two draws but no he gets the first shot at edge. edge beats him cleanly and he still gets another shot at ONS. but what he gets another one im sick of this is had 6 chances already fucking hell get him off!!!
I think thats just a teaser, I can see Batista being drafted to Raw before then, scrapping those plans (hopefully). I think Big Dave vs. Cena may happen at Summerslam. I thought Lashley v. Cena, but they might actually keep B.L. on ECW.
I just hope this isn't true. I love how Edge kisses McMahon's ass by giving him the belt at the end, that's gotta be hilarious.
