On this roster there were 16 superstars:
Booker T, Chavo Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Christian, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, John Cena, Kane, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Undertaker.
This particular group of superstars were picked because they were considered to be stars at the time. Let's look at what happened to each of these superstars since 2004.
1) Booker T- Became a U.S. and World Heavyweight Champion in WWE, then went to TNA from 2007-2009 where he won the World Tag Team titles with Scott Steiner. Came back to the WWE in 2011 where he became a commentator and is now the GM.
2) Chavo Guerrero- Added two more Cruiserweight Championship reigns as well as an ECW World Championship reign. Lost a Cruiserweight title to Hornswoggle Left the WWE in 2011. Now in TNA, where he and Hernandez won TNA tag titles at one point.

6) Eddie Guerrero- WWE Champion. Died in 2005. Might have been slated to win the World Heavyweight Championship on the next Smackdown (it would have been Eddie vs Batista vs Orton).
7) Edge- First ever Money in the Bank winner. Held Money in the Bank twice. 4-time WWE Champion. 7-time World Heavyweight Champion. World Tag Team Champion with Randy Orton. Unified Tag Team Champion with Chris Jericho. Won a Royal Rumble. Forced to retire in 2011 due to spinal stenosis. Hall of Famer.
8) John Cena- 11-time WWE Champion. 2-time World Heavyweight Champion. 3-time United States Champion. 2-time WWE Tag Team Champion (Miz, Otunga). 2-time World Tag Team Champion (with Batista, HBK). Won a Royal Rumble. Won a Money in the Bank match, but lost in his cash-in.

11) Randy Orton- 6-time WWE Champion, 3-time World Heavyweight Champion, World Tag Team Champion (w/ Edge). Youngest World Heavyweight Champion ever. Also won a Royal Rumble.
12) Rey Mysterio- WWE Champion, 2-time World Heavyweight Champion, 2-time Intercontinental Champion, Royal Rumble winner, 3-time WWE Tag Team Champion (w/RVD, Eddie Guerrero, Batista). Injuries are starting to mount for Mysterio.

14) Shawn Michaels- World Tag Team Champion (w/ John Cena). Unified Tag Team Champion (w/ Triple H). Retired in 2010. Hall of Famer.
15) Triple H- Unified Tag Team Champion (w/ Shawn Michaels). World Heavyweight Champion. 3-time WWE Champion. Semi-retired now. COO of the WWE.
16) Undertaker- 21-0 now at Wrestlemania (9-0 in the last 9 years). Royal Rumble winner. 3-time World Heavyweight Champion. Semi-retired.
So of these 16 superstars, who do you believe had the best last nine years?
For me, sorry Cena, it's gotta be Edge. Edge won 11 world championships in 7 years. He won Money in the Bank, he won Royal Rumble, and if not for his injury, he could still be a World champ today!
