WWE Succeeding in What TNA Said They would Do

Pre-Show Stalwart
A couple of months ago, TNA said that they were going to push the younger guys, AJ Styles, Jay Lethal, whoever else is young there. The publicly announced that. What do they do? Push Team 3D, higher Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, Nasty Boys and many more. They push them and get shit out of them and eventually fire them. They just don't understand the concept of continuity with what they say.

WWE, on the other hand, understands the concept of pushing younger talent. What have they done to push younger talent? Put the World/WWE Titles on Sheamus, Jack Swagger; gave huge feuds to Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, the Nexus (NXT Season 1 rookies). They have shed light outside the main event and gave other superstars a shot at standing in the limelight. Just take a look at the Nexus, they have been in the WWE for 4-5 months and they are what everyone is talking about in the WWE. They have been given the spotlight with John Cena numerous times and now are over. Kofi Kingston, Bryan Danielson have been given the spotlight respectively on Raw and NXT. Even Drew McIntyre has been given a push with winning the Intercontinental Championship and even given the nickname "The Chosen One" by Vince McMahon.

So what has TNA done while WWE has been pushing younger talent? Trying to push a not over Abyss, creating the Enigmatic Assholes which I doubt will go anywhere, keeping Sting in the main event, and whatever else they have done to lose the Monday Night Wars (actually competing against the WWE is stupidity at their stage in development as a company).

Your thoughts.

WWE had nothing to lose by pushing Swagger etc and this decision may mean that tehy have future main eventers instead of future mid carders. And you show a bit of a bias by saying that the young guys weren't pushed in TNA.

When the Nasties were in TNA they were far from the main focus. AJ was champ and Pope was getting pushed through the 8 Card Stud.

I think they need to commit to pushing the right guys. Give someone the Abyss treatment, but don't let it be Abyss.

The problem is that Pope vs. AJ was the midcard match. That whole PPV was built around Hogan vs. Flair. Not the guys on Team Hogan vs. Team Flair, but Hogan vs. Flair. Watch any Impact or the PPV building up to it. It was ALL those two. As in WCW: the midcard stuff like the X-Division and the Angle/Anderson matches steal the show and then the "main event talent" comes out and completely sucks, but they still get the main push. They've significantly lightened up on this lately, but Sting vs. RVD was still a head scratcher.

Sting vs RVD is an Impact match and nothing else. RVD seems more and more like a placeholder champ (he needs a feud to put his teeth into) and Sting isn't 100% so shouldn't be main eventing a PPV.

I wasn't being bias. I said TNA started pushing the correct talent but doesn't understand the conxept of continuity and commitment.

Yeah but you said that Hall & Waltman were pushed at the expense of younger talent and for the time they were, they didn't do much wrong. Hall got in shape and Waltman did OK. They didnt hog the spotlight, they weren't the focus of the show. That was Hogan & Flair and by association, Styles & Abyss.

I dont agree with it but Styles and Abyss are as well as Swagger and Sheamus did. If not better.

RVD vs. Sting is a PPV match, but the booking has been so way off it's insane. Sting got the shot because he was the only over main event heel other than AJ who had just had a PPV match with RVD. The rankings system is annoying as it makes limited sense and feels like they won a sweepstakes to get their title shot rather than having an actual feud. It feels forced instead of natural. Think of Cena vs. Barrett when it happens. Barrett has been attacking Cena left and right. He's cost him the world title. He's embarassed Cena. There's a reason to want to see this match happen. More than one actually: is Barrett as good as he's made out to be, and to see Cena get his revenge. It's basic booking. Now imagine if Barrett fought Cena just because he won the NXT contest. He has no credibility and there would be little to no drama. Now you would have Cena asking for a match with Barrett. See the difference?

That's what I'm saying. RVD / Sting is a match worth paying to see but they couldn't wait until Sting was truly over his shoulder injury? I'm certain that is the reason for the booking.

I dont agree with how they have pushed Abyss but if AJ or Lethal or any other mid card face had that push then we would still be moaning because of how it has been done.

I doubt that. It's the whole idiocy of the booking. Abyss is a monster and they made him this neurotic guy. Just go be a damn monster. Why waste his unique size and power?

You're not in here for making bad threads. You're here for your bad attitude, rule breaking, and spamming up the Graphics section.

My bad attitude started here. Rules are meant to be broken. I posted like 3-4 times in the graphics section.

Jesus, are you 13 or something? Please tell me you are; please let that be the excuse for your dumb shit.

Nice thread. Keep doing this stuff, quit being a cunt, and stop with the Game Rage premature "Ok, I'm ready to get out now" bullshit. You'll get out when you have demonstrated to the mods that you aren't going to continue breaking rules simply because you can't be bothered to care.

I don't think Jesus will answer you on these forums.

I never said I was ready to get out of here. I just asked what it takes to get out of here.

If you are seriously asking that fucking question again then you are a retarted piece of shit who has the memory of a fucking goldfish.

Doc has told you plenty of times how your dumbass can get out.

I'm not gonna start with you. I said I asked (key word their buddy) what it takes to get out of here. Learn how to read and understand.

Learn the meaning of dumb:

lacking the power of speech

Synonyms:
Dumb, mute, speechless, voiceless describe a condition in which speech is absent. Dumb was formerly used to refer to persons unable to speak; it is now used almost entirely of the inability of animals to speak: dumb beasts of the field. The term mute is applied to persons who, usually because of congenital deafness, have never learned to talk: With training most mutes learn to speak well enough to be understood. Either of the foregoing terms or speechless may describe a temporary inability to speak, caused by emotion, etc.: dumb with amazement; mute with terror; left speechless by surprise. Voiceless means literally having no voice, either from natural causes or from injury: Turtles are voiceless. A laryngectomy leaves a person voiceless until he or she has learned esophageal speech.

Shut up, prison boy, you're never gonna get out anyway.
