Royal Rumble 2011/ Wrestlemania 27? Thoughts

Well the Royal Rumble is upon us once again, of course the question has been asked tons of times but who is going to win this year and head to wrestlemania?

I think this year it should be a young upstart for sure, since there are 2 different world titles, they could possibly risk one of those titles ( very carefully ) being headlined by a couple of the younger guys, IE: Miz, sheamus, morrison etc;

Then have the other world title the way they usually do, the bigger names, the draw power, what can it hurt, the title pictures have been tarnished many times before, might as well give us an exciting match with the future guys in a world title match, never know maybe they will excel to the pressure.

So to my point, as i was watching the TLC ppv on sunday I started thinking about Kofi Kingston and how good he is, I mean last year when he was going up against Orton was awesome, he eliminated orton and punk, 2 former world champions in less the 10 seconds!! Then shortly after his one on one match with Orton, which he lost, it seems as he just flatlined and went nowheres else! I thought for sure he would be getting a good push after that.

Anyhow, the rumble is a very unpredictable environment with sometimes luck being on your side, the smaller guys IE: HBK, Y2J, Rey etc; usually have a pretty good advantage in these matches i must say, they are quick, entertaining and can usually leave you on the edge of your seat with breath taking moments or near eliminations in the rumble which make it that much better.

So i started thinking of Kofi and thought, " Hey he would do great in a rumble if they gave him the push" He is a very athletic guy who could make it believable to wiggle his way out of some sticky situations and i think judging from Kofi's performances in the past that he could really make this interesting, i understand people may think hes not great n the mic or whatever and was buried for whatever backstage politic reason.

At the end of the day its not about that, when i was younger and didnt know all of the stuff to do with politicking and backstage and pushes ETC; then i think i would think alot more of some of the guys right now getting pushes, Take Mr. Ass for example, when he got a push im sure the older fans were all the buzz about how he shouldnt be where he is and criticizing everything he did, but thats not the point of a younger audience which WWE is apparently catering to, its the kids and much like everyones thoughts on john cena, they dont know or care what we think, they probably wonder why he gets booed by older fans. They dont know why ( insert name ) or ( insert name ) is where they are today because of ( reason ) or ( reason ) they just know, if they are feuding with the top guys, then they must be good. Much like i thought of MR. ASS and X Pac and all them boys back in the day,. Im wandring a little off topic but like HBK said in his MY journey DVD,

" nobody wants to see you succeed more then the fans do, and to mess it up, you really have to mess it up "

I realize that may pertain to Taker and Hbk, but in the kids eyes, they dont know the story like most of us do, they dont see the botches like we do, we are aware of it and respect their efforts nonetheless, we are watching because we enjoy the entertainment, we criticize and dont take it to heart as much anymore, but i guarantee if you slaop Kofi kingston in the rumble to winning it, the kids wont know the difference, they will just be like" wow hes good " the WWE goes on like they are catering to the PG era, do they care? I dont think so, they still have their politics and get mad when someone makes a minor mistake, these guys do this 90% of the year, give them a break, the kids dont notice, they say all this stuff so the era that they supposedly arent catering to anymore, lets just say the attitude era, or the public,. to look good to them.

anyways i got a little off topic but those are my thoughts.

Would anyone realy disagree with a shake up for once in the WWE on a pay per view, Kingston winning the rumble, making the Smarks happy that a younger dude won it, give one of the title spots on the big card to the younger guys to shine in the spotlight on the grandest stage giving the other world title picture to the big dogs?
