Shocky

Kissin Babies and Huggin Fat Girlz
All of these matches take place inside of a WWE Ring with WWE Rules.

The Match will be open for a week.

Boogie Knights are the team of Alex Wright and WRESTLEZONES OWN Disco Inferno from 2000.

Aries and Strong are from modern ROH.

This is one that makes me scratch my head. How did they make it to the second round? I hope it was a joke. I'm not a big ROH fan, but this should be no contest at all. Aries and Strong absolutely dominate.

Aries and Strong definitely. Granted, I haven't watched an excessive amount of Boogie Knights matches. However, of the several I have looked up - sadly, in preparation for this match - they've acted like a joke (which is their gimmick, granted) and be swept aside as such. Then there's the fact that the matches rarely lasted more than about four minutes.

There's nothing that stops me predicting that Aries and Strong would just show off in dominating these two.

Yeah, I found the cure to disco fever.

You can argue that neither did/have done anything. But at least Aries & Strong are still going strong (pun not intended). They'll have work so long as they can go in the ring, in ROH at least. Wright & Disco apparently didn't have enough value for people to carry on employing them after WCW. With the exception of a couple of shitty feds.

The beauty of this match? These are two teams that mean nothing to the wrestling world and are setting up to get devoured in under 5 minutes by Vader and Bigelow in the next round.

Austin Aries and Roderick Strong crush Team Wrestlezone 19-2.

My Thoughts:

Agreement again. Look, Strong and Aries aren't going to beat you with size, but the are certainly good enough in the ring to take down a pair of career lower to mid card wrestlers from WCW. Say what you will about ROH, but Strong and Aries have the ability to match up with most of the middle of the road tag teams from the bigger companies.
