Brand Extension is back on, no more Supershow, no more '3 hours'.
Raw October 29th 2012
The show opens with Cm Punk coming out along with Paul Heyman and, at first bragging about proving everyone wrong and beating Ryback, then he goes on to bash Vince McMahon. He talks about how Vince thought he could end Punk's reign and intimidate him by pitting a monster like Ryback against him, but like usual Punk overcame the odds and beat the 'monster' that was sent against him. Then Punk goes on to insult Vince and his whole legacy, going as far as to say he doesn't have 'it' anymore and should just hand the company over to someone with at least half a brain....when...
Triple-H's music blasts the arena and a huge cheer comes from the crowd. Triple-H walks down to the ring all suited up, and with a big plaster covering his injured arm and once he enters the ring, there is a big staredown between him and Paul Heyman, who hides behind Punk. Triple-H says Punk should keep his mouth shut because he might be the WWE Champ but he still works under Triple-H, who works under Vince. Punk starts insulting Triple-H's work as COO, also reminding him of how Brock Lesnar decimated him at Summerslam. Punk says Triple-H knows he doesn't have it anymore, and the only reason he has power backstage is because he is married to the boss's daughter. Triple-H fires back by saying he's heard it all before, and says that the real reason he's here is not to bicker with Punk, he has a huge announcement later on in the night. He also makes tonight's main event Cm Punk against Randy Orton. We go to a commercial.
We are back and standing in the ring is...3MB! Heath Slater goes on about how their 3 man band will be remembered as the world's best combination of musicians and wrestlers, Drew McIntyre says they have thought about performing on Live TV, just that the Charlotte crowd doesn't deserve it (cheap heat). Then Jinder Mahal ends their ridiculous promo with a ridiculous one liner 'My opponent will hear my music when i beat him in the ring tonight' And his opponent happens to be the Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston. These two go back and forth in the ring, and after a failed attempt of distraction by Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston connects with the Trouble in Paradise and pins Jinder Mahal for the victory. After the match 3MB trash talk Kofi as he celebrates his victory on the ramp.
We are taken backstage where Team Rhodes Scholars are with none other than the General Manager Vickie Guerrero herself, in her new office. Damien Sandow tries to explain why they are there in his own way. 'You see, As per my superior knowledge and a good amount of research on WWE history, a disqualification victory by the challengers leads to a secondary clash between the champions and the challengers'. Vickie Guerrero looks confused as obviously she has an inferior mind and says ''Excuse Me?''. Cody Rhodes saves the day 'What he's trying to say is, We deserve a rematch for the tag-titles.' Vickie: 'Oh, *laughs* You want a rematch? you got it! Next week!
Next up is the tag-team champions Kane and Daniel Bryan. Obviously there is some arguments going on after they're loss last week. Their opponents this week are the Prime Time Players! After Bryan gets decimated for a few minutes, Kane helps make a comeback in the match. The match ends with a double chokeslam from Kane. After the match, it seems like Kane and Bryan need to do some more ass-kicking to make up for their loss at Hell In A Cell. They give each other a sadistic smile before grabbing two steel chairs from under the ring. The Prime Time Players get back up and are standing back to back in the middle of the ring, and BAMN! Steel chair shot from Kane to Titus O Neil. BAMN! Steel chair shot from Daniel Bryan to Darren Young. This is followed by lots of repeated steel chair shots to the Prime Time Players, who are still groggily standing back to back, and with each chair shot their back's collide. Daniel Bryan: ''Now thats the type of sandwich the world's toughest vegan enjoys! Kane: No, Bryan, thats the type of sandwich The Big Red Machine Enjoys and did i mention? I AM THE TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS.
It's time for some divas now. AJ's first opponent happens to be the Divas Champion Eve. During the match Vickie comes out and stands on the ramp. After Eve dominates most of the match, AJ manages to roll her up for the victory. Vickie looks angry at this and gives some directions to Eve who is also sad about her loss. Eve grabs AJ by the hair and throws her to the ground. She goes outside and throws AJ into the barricade. Vickie comes down next to her and says 'AJ you stuck-up ****e, don't expect to have a nice time here with me as the GM *laughs*'
Ryback comes out to the ring and cuts a short promo. Something about revenge on Cm Punk and of-course 'Feed me more'. He keeps saying feed me more and eventually three jobbers come out, its feeding time. Ryback kills the three jobbers in this match, a complete squash. Commercial follows.
After the break, Vickie Guerrero is in the ring. She calls out Cena who comes down to the ring. We see some proof of the AJ/Cena affair. A picture of their dinner, a video of Cena calling AJ into the elevator. Dolph Ziggler comes out and says he is disgusted by Cena's actions. Cena laughs it off and says he has his own proof. OMG, its Ziggler and AJ in AJ's hotel room. Ziggler's smirk turns into a frown and Vickie Guerrero is shocked. Vickie starts screaming at Ziggler, and slaps him right across the cheek, followed by a series of repeated slaps, she is livid. Ziggler has had enough, he goes on the mic and says 'you know what Vickie, i'm glad i did what i did, thank you Cena for revealing this, Vickie you and me are DONE. ' A big pop goes off in the arena, Cena is shocked too, the couple has finally broken up and turns out AJ and Ziggler had an affair.
When we are back from the break, tonight's main event takes place. Randy Orton vs Cm Punk. The match starts with Orton getting a good advantage on the injured Cm Punk, but soon Cm Punk gets some offense. Cm Punk gets the match on his side by sending Orton tumbling into the steel post. Punk hits the high knee and the bull dog, and is about to go for the GTS, when Ryback's theme music plays to a huge pop. Punk drops Orton from his shoulders as Ryback walks out onto the ramp, slowly towards the ring. Punk looks back and gets RKO'd (Out of nowhere) 1....2....3! Orton beats the WWE Champion! Orton celebrates and leaves, and just as Cm Punk manages to get back up, Ryback picks him up for the SHELLSHOCK! FEED ME MORE! FEED ME MORE!
The final segment of the night is Triple-H with his two announcements. Triple-H says his first announcement is that he is calling out Brock Lesnar. He admits that Brock got the better of him at Summerslam. but this war is far from over, he says at Survivor Series he will form his own team that will go against a team that Paul Heyman forms, and he says if Brock doesn't compete on Heyman's team, he might as well get fired because his contract requires for him to compete at Survivor Series. Now onto the second big announcement, he calls out Vickie Guerrero. Vickie comes out and Triple-H says he has bad news and good news for Vickie. Starting off with the good news, he tells her that she is now the official General Manager of Smackdown. Vickie is really happy to hear this despite her break up with Ziggler. Triple-H goes on, telling Vickie to be prepared for the bad news, which is that she is no more the Managing Supervisor of Monday Night Raw. Because she is being replaced by the Official General Manger of Raw, which is...
*DAWN*
THE CROWD ERUPTS AS RIC FLAIR'S THEME PLAYS AROUND THE ARENA! And sure enough, Ric Flair steps out to another huge reaction! Ric Flair is all suited up for the GM role and you can see he is happy to be back. Ric Flair gets into the ring and starts off with 'WOOOO!' the crowd echos with 'WOOOO' chants. Ric Flair says he can't describe how happy he is to be back, and that he is thankful for the opportunity to make Raw the best show on television once again! The crowd gives a huge pop and Ric Flair says he is impressed by Cm Punk and his near-year long title reign, and then he says when someone impresses him, he challenges them. And so his first big announcement is that next week, Cm Punk will defend his WWE Championship in a 6 pack challenge! His opponents, first the Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, the Tag-Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan, John Cena and finally Ryback!!! The crowd EXPLODES for the announcement and the show ends with a handshake and hug between Triple-H and Ric Flair.
Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it. It encourages me to right more
Smackdown November 1st 2012
The show opens with none other than the New World Heavyweight Champion, The Big Show! Despite the fact that he just won the world title, his expression is as serious as ever. He enters the ring and grabs a mic 'I'm not going to come out here and cry over my victory. I'm not gonna say i proved you all wrong and that no one believed in me, because in all honesty you all already knew i was going to win, you were just too afraid to say it. Because now that i have this, it ain't ever going away, not to your hero Sheamus, not to Randy Orton, no body is going to take this away from me!' Big Show goes on for a few minutes about how he plans to destroy everyone, until he is interrupted by Sheamus's theme. Sheamus admits Big Show got the better of him in their match, but he also says that a Celtic Warrior like him doesn't settle for a loss, and that at Survivor Series where he invokes his rematch clause, he will win back his World Title.
Booker-T's music plays, causing both Sheamus and Show to turn their attention towards the ramp. Booker-T says on Raw Vickie Guerrero was made the General Manager of Smackdown, but he was never striped of his job, thus making him the Co-general manager of Smackdown. He says that Big Show and Sheamus fought to a 3 count at Hell In A Cell, but at Survivor Series they are going to take this to another level. Though Booker T will not be the one who decides what stipulation their match will have, because there is a little twist on tonight's episode of Smackdown. Booker says, You see tonight we will have a tally count on how many people got knocked out by Big Show's WMD, and how many people got their head's kicked off by Sheamus's Brogue Kick. At the end of the night, whoever has more will be the one that decides what stipulation their match will have. Both Big Show and Sheamus like this idea, specially Big Show who now has the permission to knock anyone out without consequences. We go to a commercial.
When we come back from the commercial, Booker T is walking backstage and he runs into....Co-general manager Vickie Guerrero. There is a strange stare down between the two before Vickie says that Booker T's decision for the Brogue Kick/WMD tally count was stupid. It puts everyone on the roster in danger the whole episode. Booker T says he doesn't care what Vickie thinks, he cares about what the fans want, and he will do anything to make the show more entertaining. Vickie says she is disgusted by this but laughs as she says she has an announcement for tonight's main event. It will be her EX-boyfriend Dolph Ziggler, in a Gauntlet Match! she keeps laughing as she walks away, and Booker T looks confused.
Now onto the first match. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara come out to a decent pop. Their opponents are The Uso's. The Uso's get some good offense in during the first few minutes of the match, and they start to separate Sin Cara from his partner. Rey finally gets the hot tag, and from then it's only a matter of a few high flying maneuvers, a 619 from Rey Mysterio and a top rope senton from Sin Cara, to win the match. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara celebrate their victory, but it is a mistake for them to stay even a few minutes in the ring, as Big Show comes out. All four men are still in the ring as Big Show enters. They all try to fight off Show, but Big Show puts them down one by one. Jey Uso comes at him again, and this time he gets knocked out. His brother suffers the same fate. Rey and Cara are smart enough to come at Big Show together, and they manage to somehow send him into the corner. Sin Cara goes for a hurricanrana on Show (lol), but Show brings him back up and knocks him out.
Rey Mysterio is the only one remaining now. Big Show goes for Rey, and Rey tries his best to dodge Show as much as possible, Show picks up Rey, and it looks like he'll go for the Chokeslam first. But Rey counters it into a DDT! Show is down! Show slowly gets back up and Rey kicks him from behind into the ropes, in position for the 619! The World Heavyweight Champ is in trouble! Rey goes for the 619 and it connects! The fans are going wild, though Big Show is still on his feet. Rey climbs the top rope for a splash, andddd....KNOCK OUT PUNCH! Big Show has successfully knocked out all 4 men! His tally count goes up to 4, Sheamus has a lot of catching up to do, to be able to decide the stipulation at Survivor Series.
Next up is a toilet break for the audience. Sorry, i meant a divas match. Layla is up against Alicia Fox. Alicia Fox dominates Layla for most of the match. It looks like Layla will easily get beat in this match, Alicia hits her finisher, but somehow someway Layla manages to kick out. Alicia looks shocked and it looks like Layla is hulking up and feeding off the energetic crowd (JK the crowd is dead silent), Layla hits the Lay-out and picks up the victory. *Crank It Up* The crowd is shocked to hear Big Show's music, what now, is he going to knock out the divas too? The divas in the ring are really scared and start to back away towards the corner, of course the idea of running away doesn't occur to them. Big Show enters the ring and the divas are almost crying in the corner, which one of them will get knocked out first? The referee hesitantly tells Big Show to go away, and he gets a knock out punch in return. Then Big Show does leave the ring, seems like his goal was to knock out the Referee, not the divas, i mean he can't stoop THAT low. So the tally count is now 5-0 to Big Show.
We go backstage and Sheamus goes into Booker T's office. Sheamus looks angry, 'Booker, Big Show is out there destroying innocent Superstar's and even referee's, is that what you want me to do to be able to decide the stipulation?' Booker says he misses the days when Superstars would do anything to get to the top, the days where it was all about yourself. He tells Sheamus that to be successful in this company you only have to care about yourself. Sheamus fists the table and goes out of the office.
Next up is Antonio Cesaro vs Zack Ryder. Antonio dominates most of the match, though Ryder gets a lot of offense in and at one point hits the Broski boot. Just when it looks like Antonio is about to lose as Ryder goes for the Rough Ryder, he catches Ryder and throws him into the corner, and Ryder hits the steel post. (best way to make a heel win clean), Cesaro takes advantage and hits his finisher for the win. Cesaro celebrates his victory, and then Sheamus comes out. Sheamus seems hesitant but he has no other option. He runs into the ring and knocks out Cesaro with the Brogue Kick. Ryder gets back up and he suffers the same fate. Sheamus gets a bit of heat for kicking another face in Zack Ryder, but they understand what's going on here. The tally count is now 5-2, Sheamus doesn't go back, it seems like he'll be sitting on commentary from now on. Smart move, Cole says.
We go backstage from here, and out of all people, we see Justin Gabriel walking around backstage. Justin turns a corner and we can hear someone banging his fist on a door. The banging gets louder and we can hear 'LET ME OUT OF HERE!' 'I'M GONNA FIND YOU AND I WILL KNOCK YOU OUT!' 'THE WORLD CHAMP SHOULDN'T BE LOCKED IN HIS OWN LOCKER!' We zoom in on the locker and it says 'Big Show'. It seems like Sheamus has locked Show in the locker, it was the only way he had any chance of winning the contest. 'Smart move, not so smart when he comes out of there though', Cole says.
Next up is the Main Event of the Night. As set up by Vickie Guerrero, who is angry at Dolph obviously for breaking up with her on Raw, Dolph Ziggler will run the gauntlet. Dolph comes out to a mixed reaction. Ziggler waits for his first opponent, who turns out to be...Wade Barrett. The two brawl for a while, it's a pretty decent match. Wade Barrett is on the offense for most of it, the match goes on for longer than Ziggler would want, he has two more to go. There is some back and forth action outside the ring too, and Ziggler accidentally or purposely throws Wade Barrett over the announce table into Sheamus, possibly starting a war between Ireland and England. Dolph rolls Barrett back into the ring, and Sheamus (Now back on commentary) seems a little red hot over what just happened. Ziggler takes the offense now, he goes for the Zigzag but Barrett smartly blocks it and throws Ziggler over the ropes. Ziggler lands in an awkward position on the outside next to the Commentary Table. Sheamus sees this as an opportunity to release his anger, also to add another number in his tally, so as Ziggler gets back up he is met with a Brogue Kick. The referee rings the bell and Ziggler wins the match by DQ. Wade Barrett is angry over this and goes outside and blames Sheamus, and starts shoving him. Sheamus smiles, moves back, and Brogue Kicks Wade Barrett. The tally is now 5-4, still to Big Show but Sheamus is getting close while Show is still trapped in his locker.
Meanwhile Ziggler is in the ring, recovering from the Brogue Kick. His next opponent in the gauntlet is.... Randy Orton! Orton and Ziggler go at it for a few minutes, and Orton is mostly getting the better of an exhausted Ziggler. Orton goes for the RKO but Ziggler somehow manages to push away Orton...into the Ref. The Ref is knocked out and Sheamus takes this opportunity to get back into the ring. Ziggler escapes the ring to avoid another Brogue Kick, though Orton is lying in the ring slowly getting back up. The crowd is going wild as Sheamus is preparing to Brogue Kick Orton (though Sheamus is hesitating a bit)...and Orton gets back up...THE BROGUE KICK CONNECTS! Sheamus surely gets a bit of heat for this, but he shrugs, suggesting he had no other option. The tally is now 5-5! Sheamus has evened things up! As the referee gets back up, Ziggler takes advantage of a brogue kick'd Orton and covers him. 1...2...3! Ziggler has beaten both Wade Barrett and Randy Orton!
Ziggler is grinning but he has one more match to go. The crowd is anticipating the final opponent, who can Vickie possibly send that is better than Barrett and Orton? *Crank It Up* Big Show! The music plays but it seems like the World Heavyweight Champion can't come out...because he is still trapped backstage! Sheamus grabs the mic and says 'Vickie, i'm sorry but Big Show seems to be having a problem coming out here, so i'm gonna take this opportunity to insert myself as the final opponent for Ziggler' The bell rings and the match is on! Ziggler is backing into a corner, he managed to beat Barrett and Orton but it seems he has no chance. The match goes on for barely a minute before Sheamus connects with yet another Brogue Kick, and he picks up the victory. Sheamus is now officially winning the tally as the score is 6-5. We go into a Commercial.
When we are back from the commercial, Sheamus is still standing in the ring. He apologizes for any unnecessary Brogue Kicks but says he had no other option, and he calls out Booker T to announce him as the winner of this 'Brogue Kick vs WMD tally'. Booker-T surely comes out and enters the ring. He is about to raise Sheamus's hand and announce him as the winner when....*Crank it up* OH MY! Its the Big Show! This time he does come out...seems like he managed to break the door. Big Show is angry and no one would want to be in the same ring as him right now. Big Show enters the ring and bravely Sheamus and Booker-T don't escape. Big Show goes right for Sheamus but Booker T shouts 'BIG SHOW, BIG SHOW NO! Calm down!' The Co-gm manages to keep the two apart for now. Booker T turns towards Big Show and apologizes that he was trapped in his room backstage, but also says that the winner has already been decided. Big Show is furious and he..KNOCKS OUT THE GM! BOOKER T HAS BEEN KNOCKED OUT! 6-6 now? Sheamus goes straight for the Brogue Kick, but Big Show catches his leg and...KNOCK OUT PUNCH TO SHEAMUS! 7-6? Big Show adds two more knock out punches to his name! The commentators are still shocked over the fact that Big Show knocked out the GM. Big Show grabs a mic and says 'Seems like i've won this stupid contest and i get to decide the stipulation.. Sheamus, if you think what i did to you at Hell In A Cell was bad, wait till Survivor Series where i will not only beat you, i will DESTROY you in a Last Man Standing match' Big Show has sent his message and its official, Sheamus vs Big Show at Survivor Series in a Last Man Standing Match!
