People Like Me, We Don't Play
This is going to be interesting. You have the clear favourite (Cena), the fan favourite (Orton), the cowardly heel (Edge) and the powerhouse/badass heel (Sheamus). How do I see it playing out?
Sheamus:
He's been in a bit of a slump since taking out Triple H and with his return looming, I doubt he's got a chance of winning. Sheamus will definitely be in the title picture again very soon but it's too soon and with his feud with Hunter not quite finishing yet, he's still got a little while longer to wait.
Edge:
His program with Orton isn't just finished and there are other things he could be doing beside participating in the title picture. He's another wait and see. Vince likes him with gold around his waist and it shouldn't be too long till' he gets reign #10.
Randy Orton:
As I said above, his feud with Edge has yet to truly reach it's climax and with his injury worries, I highly doubt he's walking out the champ. Orton is without a doubt the most over face in the company and if the WWE can keep him chasing for a while and build up a storyline around that then him winning the title will only be sweeter.
John Cena:
Cena will win in my opinion. He's got too much going for him to not win. He's only just finally got rid of Batista and has yet to defend against anyone other than Dave. He's also yet to get that proper pinfall win over Sheamus and he has history with Edge and Orton so it's possible that he could pin anyone of these contenders. Cena will most likely walk away:
STILL THE WWE CHAMPION.
