WWE Elimination Chamber: Raw Women's Championship Elimination Chamber Match

YOU WILL RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!!!!
On tonight's Raw, Stephanie McMahon announced that there'll be a women's Elimination Chamber match at the ppv next month that will see Alexa Bliss defending her championship against 5 opponents.

Alexa Bliss hasn't been seen much as of late, I don't know if she's nursing injuries or what, but I don't think I've seen her wrestle since losing to Asuka. They had Nakamura name his choice immediately after winning the men's Royal Rumble match, so they're going the opposite direction with Asuka and we won't know until after Elimination Chamber. As to who will be in this match, you have to figure that Bayley, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax are all but guaranteed. As for the other two, maybe Alicia Fox, if she's back in time from recovering from whatever injury she's got, Dana Brooke if Fox isn't back and Mickie James.

We've seen Asuka defeat Alexa Bliss in a non-title match so maybe they've decided to put the title on Nia Jax so she and Asuka can face off at WrestleMania. Then again, Asuka facing off against Charlotte Flair has real possibilities too. At any rate, if the ladies get as physical as the men do, then it should be a fun match.

So after they've ticked off all of these first ever women's events, can the Revolution be put on the back burner? It feels forced, it's not working and both divisions are shallow.

Right.. they bring Rousey in and you think they're going to put it on the back burner? Haha

So this feel like the last gimmick they didn't use for the Stephanie mcmahon's women's revolution so now I'm guessing that they will booked that on last as well so that Stephanie can overshadowed the women's division by advancing her own storyline with Ronda like she did at the rumble last night.

I fell lately like they are really forcing all theses historic moments for business purposes instead of having them happen organically. I get we're in this #metoo era right now where feminism is more powerful then ever but this just feel rush especially since they barely have the numbers to actually have a good match with this gimmick.

Most likely participants: Bayley, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Mickie James and one of Absolution. The winner? I have no clue. It could be Nia, it could be Alexa, it could even be Sasha.

PS: I don't understand the hate towards this. It's a historic moment. Why can't you just enjoy it? You niptick everything. I for one find these first ever women things much more enjoyable to watch. Sasha and Asuka had the match of the night last night on RAW. At least it was on the same calliber as Cena vs Balor.

Rouse wont be in it, main page says her first match will be at WM. I doubt they would debut her at EC, since WM is the big show

I agree that this Women's revolution is just a PR move and is getting pushed down our throats. That promo where Stephanie announced the Women's Rumble was awful but yet they have to replay it make it into video packages and have a bunch of sound bites of Stephanie and the Women hugging and cheering. It's been pretty much a similar build up with all these first ever Women's matches with very little of the build being about characters and storylines.
Don't get me wrong I love women's wrestling and am glad they giving it more time. I had my doubts about the Women Rumble but overall I think it was good and delivered on a high level. But I just hope we get more this year rather then them just raving about the Women's Revolution and first time ever matches. Every week it seems like it's a multi women tag or they have a singles match and they try to cram all the Women in one segment with them playing cheerleader and doing nothing significant

I've seen their first run of women's gimmick matches on the main roster. Match that should be simple to pull off because the novelty of seeing women in the match should be enough for the first try. And so far they've been shit. I expect the same tonight.
