WWE Elimination Chamber: Handicap Match - Kalisto & Apollo Crews VS Dolph Ziggler

YOU WILL RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!!!!
In an unusual twist, Daniel Bryan informed Dolph Ziggler that he'll be facing Apollo Crews and Kalisto in a handicap match at EC this Sunday. It's unusual in the sense that we usually only get handicap matches where corrupt heel authority figures are trying to "punish" a babyface by putting said face in a match against two or more heel opponents whereas this time it's two babyfaces against one heel.

I'm not sure exactly where they're going with Dolph Ziggler as a heel, but that's okay as I'm ultimately enjoying the journey so far. I find myself wondering if Ziggler ultimately just manages to go over both babyfaces single handedly or if some unexpected ally lends him a hand, thereby forming a team of some sort.

Im a bit disappointing with this heel turn by dolph ziggler. Not by the turn itself but by the people hes associated with. I think its a cool gimmick to just beat everyone up with chairs every week but it just seems less effective if hes doing it to jobbers. Now if he was beating up dean ambrose with a chair id be totally sold on an ic title match between the to for wrestlemania.

But i really hope ziggler gets a chance to showcase hes skills at wrestlemania this year and putting him on a team seems like it would only under value him more. They need to get serious with dolph because they had a hot story when he kicked jerry lawler in the chest but they havent done anything to follow up on that. Typical wwe.

But to answer your question i can only think he goes over clean. If he doesn't then that seriously hurts his run. Unless of coarse we get some interaction with jerry lawler.

It's a goid job Kalisto and Crews are going nowhere because they can't come out of this looking good. But I suppose this is their way of making Ziggler look like some kind of superhell. Go figure!

Might as well have Carmella and Ellsworth come out during the match and she demands James to do something to distract the ref. Could pair up Dolph/Carmella and have Ellsworth as their lackey.

So...am I the only one who actually enjoy this feud? I like what's happening with the three.
Many people are saying that Ziggler should be doing more but realistically, Ziggler is right were he should be on the totem pole. No matter how good of a heel Ziggler becomes, he will always be behind Corbin, Wyatt(Orton), Miz, and AJ on the list of top heels on Smackdown.
As for as the match on Sunday, it can go either way. Ziggler winning will hurt the little credibility Crews and Kalisto have, but Ziggler also has taken the losses on Smackdown so he needs a win.
More than likely, they will all end up in a multi-man championship match for the IC title so it really doesn't matter who wins.

Nah, I actually dig it to. I did enjoy Ziggler vs Miz, but I'm glad it ended where it did. Especially with how often the Spirit Squad was getting involved. As a heel I can actually enjoy his segments or post match aftermath now. While feuding with The Miz I felt a lot of the enjoyment there was off him and Zigglers reaction to his words / actions. It's doing something with Kalisto, Apollo Crews, and Dolph that is usually a small part of the weekly show.

Dean is kinda just walking around with the IC title, and I beyond doubt that he wins at Elimination chamber. The same goes for Miz, and Baron. It's a safe way to go into the Multi-man IC title match trend at Wrestlemania I guess.

It's odd to see this handicap match. Ziggler has pretty much looked good every Smackdown against the two by himself. It's more interesting than another singles, and It should be a good match given the athletic ability of the three. Good match for an under card, honestly.

I like that Ziggler turned heel. He was so stale. It's just I think he pretty much peaked on SDL and needs to go to RAW.

You can only compete for the WWE Championship and IC title so many times.

Brand split happened only 6 months ago, so it's not SD that can offer nothing new to Dolph, it's Dolph who can not offer anything new to SD.
Look at Orton and Miz - these guys found a way. Styles became #1 guy. Even Cena still have a desire to evolve and be better than he was.
Dolph simply can't connect on a level his fans expect from him.

Like most people, I don't get what WWE is trying to do with this feud. The heel had odds stacked against him as it was a handicap match.

I don't get the result of this match either. Ziggler lays out Kalisto before the match and still can't defeat Apollo Crews? I would've liked Ziggler to get a win via some heel tactic. Since Ziggler attacked both again after the match, I think that this feud continues until Wrestlemania 33.

These 3 could be the participants in a multi-man match for InterContinental Title with Ambrose and Corbin.

It's hard because I don't care about any of these guys, hell I've even found myself hoping Ziggler would leave so I don't have to see him on my screen anymore. That has been the case for about 5 years now though.

What I could gather with this match taking place was that Ziggler beat down both Kalisto and Crews so Shane made a match where both of them would face ziggler and ziggler got what deserved? Even then that makes no sense because Ziggler beat them down both head on. Like didn't jump them or anything prior to the match. Hell he jumped Kalisto BEFORE this match and STILL lost as a result.

I feel them grasping for straws with Ziggler at this point. Kalisto and Crews desperately need characters or a reason to care about them period. Shit at this point just add a fourth guy into the mix and split them up into tag teams. Lord knows we need more to get somewhat of a tag division on both shows.
