A lot of weird choices in my opinion. Off the top of my head Summerslam 02 should be near the top.

One Night Stand should be 2 or 3. That was a terrific PPV on so many different levels. I think that Royal Rumble 03 and WM20 should be honourable mentions. The Royal Rumble delivered one of the best matches of all time and I enjoyed the RR match itself. WM20 was very close to be a 5* PPV but Lesnar/Goldberg lets it down.

Money In the Bank 2011 was great, but not #2. Summerslam 2002 should have been up there. Wrestlemania XX was also a great PPV, but we know that never happened.

Kinda expected them to post the 15 most recent PPV's to try and say that we're in the most awesome era ever, so props to them.

I hate it when WWE.com do these polls for example best PPV, Match, Wrestler etc. They seem to reflect whoever is in favour with the company now and appear to be written by people who have no clue about wrestling. The fact that Summerslam 2002 with the classic Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H unsanctioned match and Rock/Lesnar, Angle/Mysterio, Edge/Guerrero, Benoit/RVD in support is just an honourable mention when many consider it to be one of the finest PPV's WWE have ever produced is proof of that.

Other PPV's I would have considered would have been:

Wrestle War 1992 - Just for the War Games match pitting Sting's Squadron vs. The Dangerous Alliance but also featured a cracking tag team match with The Steiners vs.Tatsumi Fujinami & Takayuki Iizuka

Summerslam 1998 - The first and only Summerslam to draw 700,000 buys. Headlined by Stone Cold vs. The Undertaker this also featured The Rock & Triple's awesome ladder match for the IC title.

Spring Stampede 1999 - Probably the last great WCW PPV had quality bouts pitting Juventud Guerrera vs. Blitzkrieg, Rey Mysterio vs. Billy Kidman, Scott Steiner vs. Booker T & Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan vs. Sting vs. Diamond Dallas Page

No Way Out 2000 - A quality PPV from WWE's best ever year featuring Chris Jericho vs. Kurt Angle, Hardy Boyz vs. Edge & Christian, The Radicalz vs. Too Cool, X-Pac vs. Kane and the classic Hell In A Cell World Title vs. Career match between Triple H & Cactus Jack.

Fully Loaded 2000 - Billed as having a Triple Main Event this show was focused on guys new to WWF in the featured matches. Jericho, Benoit & Angle were pitted against Triple H in thrilling Last Man Standing Match, The Undertaker in a so-so match and The Rock in forgotten little thriller for the WWF title. Underneath still rocked with a nice six person intergender tag bout pitting the Hardy Boyz & Lita vs. T&A with Trish Stratus, Eddie Guerrero vs. Perry Saturn and the steel cage match for the IC title with Val Venis & Rikishi during which Rikishi splashed Venis from the top of the cage.

Royal Rumble 2001 - This PPV features on the strongest undercards ever seen at a Rumble. Edge & Christian vs. Dudley Boyz, Benoit vs. Jericho in a ladder match and Kurt Angle vs. Triple H all shine. Stone Cold wins a entertaining Rumble match which also featured a career performance and babyface turn from Kane.

No Mercy 2001 - Although the invasion angle wasn't a success it did give us this little cracker of a PPV headlined by Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Kurt Angle for the WWF title and the classic WCW Championship match pitting The Rock vs. Chris Jericho. Also featuring strong support from The Hardy Boyz vs. The Hurricane & Lance Storm, Kane vs. Test, Christian vs. Edge in a ladder match for the IC title and The Undertaker vs. Booker T

Wrestlemania 21 - The WHC & WWE titles match are sadly below par for a 'Mania but Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero, the first ever Money In The Bank Ladder Match, The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton and the first ever classic meeting between Shawn Michaels & Kurt Angle make this a quality PPV that should be on the list

Vengeance 2005 - The first two matches were poor but from Edge vs. Kane onwards its gold. Shawn Michaels & Kurt Angle have a first class rematch from Wrestlemania 21, John Cena defends the WWE title against Chris Jericho & Christian and was headlined by an incredibly brutal Hell In A Cell match that was the blowoff to the Triple H vs. Batista feud.

No Way Out 2006 - Boosted by the arrival of Kurt Angle in January Smackdown presented this awesome PPV headlined by Angle vs. The Undertaker for the WHC. A near 30 minute slow building classic which I would recommend to anyone and should really have taken place at Wrestlemania. Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton was a good match let down by a distasteful storyline, Booker T & Chris Benoit put on a clinic for the US title and Gregory Helms took on the entire Cruiserweight division in a quality opener.

Unforgiven 2006 - Probably the third best single brand PPV WWE ever presented. Edge & John Cena end the feud of the year with a high octane TLC match, DX take on The McMahons & Big Show in Hell In A Cell, Trish Stratus goes out on top against Lita in an emotional match, Randy Orton & Carlito have a fun match with a great finish and the returning Jeff Hardy and Johnny Nitro have an entertaining if a little long match for the IC title.

Backlash 2007 - This PPV only featured 6 matches but 5 of them were highly entertaining. The Hardys vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch was a fun opener, Melina vs. Mickie James was fun. Chris Benoit continued to elevate MVP in their US title match. The Undertaker and Batista continued their feud and proved their match at Wrestlemania was no fluke with a gripping Last Man Standing match which sadly has a unsatisfying finish and John Cena, Edge, HBK & Randy Orton had a great Fatal 4 Way for the WWE title

Wrestlemania XXIV - My second favourite 'Mania of all time behind X-7. Featuring 6 good to superb matches I don't understand why this isn't on the list. MITB was first class, Randy Orton defended the WWE title against Triple H & John Cena, Big Show had a fun special attraction match with Floyd Mayweather, Shawn Michaels emotionally retired Ric Flair in a classic match and The Undertaker & Edge tore the house down in the main event for the WHC, the last ten minutes being so seesaw and competitive that you could have believed that Edge could have ended the streak.

Having talked about all these great PPV's I'm now off to watch some.

No mention of Survivor Series '97? lol

I wish they didn't mix the WCW PPV with the WWE ones. Since they did, I'm surprised they put Bash at the Beach so low on the list. Sure, it doesn't age well, but it was one of the most anticipated PPVs at the time, and it was shocking and equally satisfying to see the big reveal at the end of the night. Isn't that what you want, to send your fans home talking about the product eager to watch it? I thought it would be right behind WM3.

No mention of Survivor Series '97? lol.

Apart from the controversy at the end Survivor Series 1997 wasn't a very good PPV. Kane vs. Mankind was okay and Steve Austin vs. Owen Hart was decent considering Austin was recovering from his neck injury but the elimination matches were mostly poor and the main event took ages to get going and wasn't Hart & Michaels at their best

only 2 Wrestlemanias out of 29? That is pretty shocking to me - you'd at least expect the last 2 to feature or what's it saying about what they put out??? From what I can see they have pretty well discounted anything they did before 1993. There's no mention for Rumble 92 which was a damn good show - no Survivor Series 90 which was equally good (except for the Gobbledygooker) and no Summerslam - 90 and 92 were extremely strong shows.

And of course they put the most overrated WM of all time at the top of the list, and WM19 isn't even near the top 15. lol. What about Survivor 02 as well?

Yea a pretty awful list IMO but these things are all made up by the dot com/magazine staff that have nothing to do with what's happening on TV & are usually just given vague orders like "Make an article this week that highlights the recent Sumemrslam 2013 PPV" from what I understand. AKA they pull most of it out of thin air & it's all just random opinions of the dot com/magazine staff.

I think both Mania X-Seven & MitB 2011 are highly overrated. Mania X-Seven is fantastic but I wouldn't even call it my favorite Mania, let alone the best PPV ever! & MitB 2011 is really only remembered because of the main event & the incredible reaction for CM Punk, otherwise I don't think that the PPV as a whole was all that amazing.

Also I agree that Summerslam 2002 should be on the actual list somewhere. Some other that come to mind are KotR 1998, Royal Rumble 1999, Royal Rumble 2001, KotR 2001, KotR 2002, Survivor Series 2002, TLC 2012 & Extreme Rules 2013. As well as almost every Wrestlemania & Summerslam I'd rank higher than the majority of that list. Also while the tag team main event match at Canadian Stampede was great, I don't remember any other parts of the PPV & there were some other amazing In Your House PPV's.

All in all, it just looks like a few guys opinions & everyone has different tastes.

I can take SummerSlam 2002 being an honourable mention. I know lists like these are primarily meant to generate hits and discussion.

Bad Blood 2004
Although its rollicking undercard included a fun Intercontinental Title duel between Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin, Bad Blood 2004 is chiefly remembered for hosting perhaps the best Hell in a Cell Match ever, Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H.
But this made me stop and take a few deep breaths to calm myself down.

Dude WrestleMania 19 has to be the most underrated Mania of all time that would be in my list and I'd lower Money in the Bank 2011 because ADR winning Money in the Bank just didn't need to happen and besides the two ladder matches and Punk vs Cena I can't remember any matches from there. I would also add Unforgiven from 2006 to the list.

a) Mania 19 is wildly overrated. Brock vs Angle is spectacularly not good.

b) A great show doesn't need a plethora of memorable matches. Two or even one great match can elevate a show to that level.

Considering this is a wwe.com list I'm surprised WrestleMania 28 isn't on there. I'm also suprised Spring Stampede 1994 is on there. I always liked that ppv but I thought it was one that kind of flew under the radar. Really surprised it's above WrestleMania 3 though.

And of course they put the most overrated WM of all time at the top of the list, and WM19 isn't even near the top 15. lol. What about Survivor 02 as well?

A couple years ago I created a thread asking if WM17 was overrated. Like most, I love that ppv but the point of the thread was to see if anyone either did not like it or didn't think it was as good as it's made out to be. WM17 being an awesome ppv seems to be the one thing the entire IWC is in agreement about. Have I finally found the one guy that didn't care much for that ppv?

Royal Rumble 1992 is nowhere to be found. Odd.

The rest is fine. Not saying I agree with all of it, but it isn't awful... outside of the Royal Rumble 1992 snub.

Did I mention Royal Rumble from 1992?

I think I'm the only one who would've liked to have seen Survivor Series 1998 as an honorable mention. Not for the matches of course, they sucked, the storyline.

Oh, and ONS 2 > ONS 1. All day. And most of the night. But not all night. Guy's gotta sleep. I ain't Ric Flair.

Overall its actually a pretty good list. Most WWE lists althouth a little biased aren't that bad, this one is less biased than most. Plus props for including Spring Stampede 94.

I love the fact of no Starrcade mention at all
Seeing thats the event VKM copied to create WM
BATB 96 should be 2 or 3 right behind WM 3
