I have a question we all know Chris Jericho will be leaving here soon to do some tour dates with his band Fozzy and then should be returning again for another stent in wrestling. My question is instead of Jericho just vanishing from TV altogether and then comming back would it be smart for the WWE to let their fans know what he's doing while he is gone and then when he comes back it wouldnt be like another return of his like a giant mystery but they could promote that they have a "huge" rockstar comming back to TV. I think if he comes back as a face tonight and stays that way until he goes for his tour dates it would go a far way for them to do it this way. Give updates of his shows how they are doing and when he comes back he'll still be fresh with the fans and could come back still huge in his own rights... Your Thoughts.

WWE could let jericho turn face for awhile to he leaves to go on tour and wwe would help him to get the fans liking him and get him over in his music. wwe would have no problem turning him face cause the heels are full as ever.
however on the other hand. faces are full as always to it comes to this.
WWE needs a top heel. to go over on smackdown chris is a great choice for sheamus. and possibly put over guys like kofi or even tyson kidd.
but wwe could just as easy turn randy orton to heel.
and let him go over. cuz wwe will not let jericho turn face if orton will remain face unless its just till he returns.

as you can tell heels and faces are pretty even so jericho/orton makes the difference if randy and chris is both heels than theres to many so same as face too many faces

i think a tweener is the best bet for jericho cause he can feud with
faces and heels jericho is a great guy to put over talent so jericho needs to stay neutral to help lots of talent instead of just a type of talent.
AND TWEENER IS ALOT BETTER CHOICE FOR RANDY ORTON CUZ I DONT BUY IN TO THE WHOLE FACE SO I SAY BOTH COULD TURN INTO A TWEENER.

Of those, Kane is pretty much a tweener really, especially in his current storyline with AJ, he doesn't seem very heelish. He was more of a top heel when he came back with the mask and feuded with John Cena now he is only booked as a heel, kind of, going up against faces but some fans still cheer him.


As for the main thread question. I think even though WWE could use more top heels Jericho's return won't be long even when he does come back and yes they should make him face when he returns and keep us updated on his band tour. When he returns, have a final feud and then basically retire.

Jericho just needs to go, he keeps running back to the WWE and not sure what for. He doesn't come back and gain the heat he should. He isn't a face like he can be. He is the same old jericho who thinks his band is rock and roll. It's not the only reason fozzy is that well know is because of the WWE. Jericho is good at wrestling he needs to stick to it, or go be a bad band.

Jericho leaves and comes back again as a face he has become the big show.

Your idea of "even" as far as the heels and faces go is being VERY generous to those heels. As poorly as I think Jericho's return was booked this last time, he still draws. I'd comfortably say right now Big Show (he sucks), Cody Rhodes (just not quite there yet) AND Dolph Ziggler (something's missing, he has the look and talent, but...) don't draw. Kane only draws right now because he's in the best storyline of the year so far WITH Punk and Bryan. On the other side, Punk and Cena are the faces of the company. Sheamus is massively over with the kids (I think he sucks as a face, you can bet your "arse" ugh...but he is over) and Christian imo is just brilliant on the mic and can get over as a heel or a face and just happens to be a face at the moment.

So just because there ARE perceived "top" heels and top faces, doesn't mean there's even billing there. Jericho's weight would be needed much more as a heel right now, although I'd like to see him as a humorous face again (which is when he was at his best in WWE).

Cant help but not to critizie a little about that list. I think people needs to be strict with their selection in general when ever they come up with a list. I consider "Top" to be mainevent to upper midcard. If a guy like rhodes is top heel, what is brock lesnar?

John Cena - 1 face
Sheamus - dont really like him, but he is getting positive reaction from fans. He is a "top face" for smackdown at best, not for raw.
Cm Punk - 2 face
Rey Mysterio "Returning in months" - he should be number 3
Christian - I just dont see the "wwe universe" really into christian. Hes definitely an upper midcard guy who can easily transcend to tthe mainevent.

Top Heels
Big Show - time will tell after hes recent heel turn. Big show is like kane. No matter what theyll do, ppl will perceive the same way.
Daniel Bryan - He is getting huge reaction.
Kane - hes not a top heel. Let see if ppl talks about kane once their feud is over. As reported cena will challenge punk.
Dolph Ziggler - i dont consider him a top heel, even though hes feuding with sheamus. Ziggler needs time to establish himself as a top midcarder after his hiatus by feuding with brodus.
Cody rhodes - Hes a great midcarder ppl can take him seriously but hes not at that upper midcard level yet.

overall wwe lacks heel and need a guy like jericho and heel orton to revitalize it.

My thing with Jericho being a heel is that I doubt he as all to much time left in his career and I think money wise the E could make more money offa a face Jericho than a heel Jericho. The E does have plenty of heels just not good ones and Jericho could be that person we've seen it many times but at this point in his career financially it might be wiser to turn him face.

 

[IT Factor]

I'd like to see Jericho turn face and get a good title run before he retires. We all know he'll eventually go on hiatus again and probably return for big appearances like Mania. He should get that one great face run that has eluded him and become THE man for WWE like he never got to be during his run as WWE Undisputed Champion before.

Realistically, WWE will probably just screw his character up beyond all compare and stick him in the midcard.

As much as I worship Jericho, I doubt that he will be in WWE much longer. He IS leaving soon for his Fozzy tour and has even stated that he has done everything he can in wrestling, but is mainly focusing on his band for now on. He can still work an amazing match and run the mic like nobody else, but the fact of the matter is, he can't keep leaving and coming back and still expect people to love him or hate them as they did when he left. He returned as a huge face. But he attempted to troll everyone to be a heel, and it didn't work all to well. WWE mishandled his return by a lot, and really need to re-think what they wanna do before he's brought back yet AGAIN.
