*****Monday Night Raw*****
*****LIVE From New York City*****
***Hell Yeah (Rev Theory) - OPENING PACKAGE***

The camera pans throughout the arena in NYC as pyrotechnic displays explode on stage and from the ring posts, and Jerry Lawler and JR welcome us to the post-Wrestlemania episode of Monday Night Raw! They discuss the historic implications of Vince McMahon and Triple H's announcement at the end of last night's show, and inform us that numerous superstars have been released from their contracts and their are now only four active championships in the company. They also mention how John Cena defeated The Rock, followed by The Rock announcing he will be leaving the WWE for an unknown amount of time. They mention that John Cena will defend his newly won title against Alberto Del Rio this evening, in a match Del Rio was given after his World Championship was removed from the WWE. They hype the fact that this will be the most historic RAW in years as the camera pans to see Ricardo Rodriguez standing alone in the ring.

Rodriguez: Señoras y señores, el único campeón del mundo real, Albertoooooooooooo Del Riooooooooooo!

***Realeza 2013***

ADR drives a very expensive looking Black Rolls Royce out, and parks it beside the stage. He is dressed in a fine black suit, and has a serious look on his face, clearly upset about no longer having his title. He is not the smiling, cocky Del Rio this evening, and he looks to have something to say. He takes the mic from Rodriguez and is ready to speak.

ADR: Tonight, I appear before you all, title-less. While I should be celebrating tonight, celebrating the fact that I retained my title against Jack Swagger at Wrestlemania, I now must wrestle again tonight to earn the right to be called a champion again. You see, Vince McMahon and Triple H, thought it would be good business to only have one heavyweight championship. And while I do agree, I do not understand why I was the one stripped of my title. With my carrying of the belt, the World Heavyweight Championship was the most prestigious title in the WWE, held by a true, world-class performer. Where as the WWE Championship means absolutely nothing, carried by a classless, young thug, by the name of John Cena.

The crowd boos as ADR puts down their favorite.

Cena is a pathetic champion. He is nothing but a punk! This is not the kind of man who should be a champion, who should represent our company. I, on the other hand, am. I am an aristocrat. A real man's man, self-made and glorious. I have more class in my right thumb, than John Cena - or any of you New York scum - have in your entire bodies! Yet, I get stripped of MY title while John Cena gets to keep his and-

***The Time is Now***

The crowd explodes as the familiar theme of The Cenation Leader hits. NYC explodes as John Cena hits the stage, clad in his jorts and a gold Cenation t-shirt. He speaks to the camera before sprinting towards the ring, sliding underneath the ropes. He stares at ADR while walking to get a mic, and to the delight of the fans, shut Del Rio up.

Cena: Alberto, firstly, I'm sorry that you lost your title. I really am. However, you don't need to take it personally. The WWE championship is the most historic title in the history of pro wrestling, and it's the one that's been here all along, not just since 2002. That's the reason my title is still active. And you whine about having to earn the championship after never losing it - and I feel ya man. The fact is, though, I have to defend it, the night after the most grueling match in my career against The Rock!

The fans cheer loudly for the blockbuster the two put on, as chants of "Thank You, Rock" and "Let's Go, Cena" breakout. Cena signals to the crowd to quiet down for him.

I mean, after last night Alberto, there are other things I'd rather do too. Since you wanna put me down though, call me a thug and say my championship means nothing, I can say that I absolutely cannot wait to beat you in the center of this ring tonight and retain MY championship!
The crowd pops loudly but Del Rio looks unimpressed.

ADR: John, John, mi amigo. That's where you're wrong. You won't beat me tonight. I'm in the prime of my career, and you aren't going to stop me. I realize destiny once again this evening, and I will become WWE Champion again, and be the real champion of this company.

John holds his title up and points at it, staring down Alberto.

Cena: Well, Alberto, all I gotta say is, IF YOU WANT SOME, COME GET-

Del Rio drops his mic and slaps Cena in the face. John drops his title and goes after Del Rio, as the two begin brawling in the middle of the ring. They exchange rights and lefts as the bell is ringed multiple times at ringside to call for a stop. Referees run to ringside to seperate the two, as JR and Lawler hype the intensity that the main event will have tonight! The show heads to commercial as Del Rio and Cena are being held apart in the ring.

--------------------

***End of Days***

The bareknuckle fighter from England, Wade Barrett, dressed in ring attire and his black robe, walks toward the ring, with his theme from The Corre being re-debuted. He has an evil look on his face, as the commentators discuss how he must feel after losing his Intercontinental Championship. They mention he has tough competition to face in veteran Chris Jericho tonight.

***Break The Walls Down***

A huge pop for Chris Jericho, looking to bounce back from him loss to Fandango the previous evening. He walks towards the ring ready to do battle with Barrett, as the night's opener looks to be solid. As Jericho gets to the ring, he looks ready to go as Barrett sheds his robe. The referee rings the bell to get us underway.

Match 1: Chris Jericho vs. Wade Barrett

The two men circle each other before locking up in the middle of the ring. They exchange lock-ups and punches before Barrett gets an early advantage. He uses his power to take Jericho to the mat, and takes advantage of the smaller man with numerous tosses and slams. However, Jericho manages to get an advantage with a drop toe hold, and works on the body of Barrett with various submission locks, working on the legs to take away the big man's base and to set up The Walls Of Jericho. As he attempts to weaken Barrett's base some more, Wade manages to get some reversals in. The two men exchange counter heading towards the middle of the match, as the commentators harp on the fact that these two know each other well from their NXT days, where Jericho coached Barrett.

Wade locks in a bear hug, sucking energy from Jericho before hitting a deadly right to stun him. A series of power moves follows, with suplexes and slams getting near falls for the Englishman. Jericho goes for a kick to the gut as Barrett tries to slowly chip away, and manages to get the energy flowing. He hits some high octane offense from his cruiserweight days on Barrett, before he lays him out with a neckbreaker near the ropes. Jericho looks around and gets an idea, and springboards to go for a Lionsault, but meets nothing but mat and Wade dodges the assualt. He drags Jericho up and lifts him to his shoulders, before hitting a devastating Wastelands. He goes for the pin and gets a 1...2...3!

Winner: Wade Barrett (6:51)

"End of Days" plays again as Barrett stands tall in victory. JR and Lawler mention that Barrett looks strong as ever even after losing his title, and that he could be in serious contention for the WWE Championship. The focus switches to JR and Lawler as the hype up the innagural "Retribution" even, as a promo video plays about it for the fans at home. As we return, Yoshi Tatsu is standing in the ring with his music playing.

***Next Big Thing***

Brock Lesnar enters the arena to boos, and does his trademark entrance before entering the ring. Yoshi is still standing in his corner as the bell rings.

Match 2: Brock Lesnar vs. Yoshi Tatsu

It's clear to most of the fans how this will turn out. Yoshi attempt some small offense but gets nothing of note in before Lesnar takes total control. He viciously tosses Tatsu around the ring, making sure to focus on the entire body in his assault. He throws Yoshi around in various suplexes before hitting a vicious looking backbreaker. He then takes Yoshi's limp body and lifts it to his shoulders, before hitting a crushing F5. He locks in a Kimura lock, as Yoshi is too damaged to tap. The ref calls for the bell as Brock relinquishes his hold. He asks for a microphone as the referee checks on Tatsu.

Winner: Brock Lesnar (1:02)

Lesnar: After last night, it's clear to me that..I need to re-think some things, and look over what I'm doing here. So I would like to announce that I'm taking some time off here in the WWE.

He drops the mic as the crowd is in utter shock. He leaves the ring, where Tatsu is now rolling around and showing life, and walks to the back with no music. JR and Lawler are in shock as well, wondering what is going through Brock's head. They discuss the implications this could have and when he may return as the show goes to commercial.

As we return to RAW, we see a replay of Lesnar's destruction of Yoshi and his major announcement afterwards, as Lawler and JR continues to discuss it a bit. Changing gears they talk about Ryback, and how on Friday Night on Smackdown he will look to continue his dominance. A graphic shows for his match on Friday, before we go backstage where The Miz is standing at the interview pit alone, ready to address the crowd.

Miz: Seven years ago, I was hosting Smackdown, yelling hoo-rah and looking like nothing more than another reality star taking his turn at a business he would fail in. Since those days, I have grown more than I could ever imagine. I became one half of one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history with John Morrison. I won Money in the Bank, and I became the most must-see WWE Champion in years! Now once again, I hold championship gold; the prestigious Intercontinental Championship.

Now, once again, I will be a must-see champion. I will give you fans what all of you want to see, and I will defend this title regularly, and bring it the prestige it deserves! So now, I would like to issue an open challenge to any superstar on the WWE roster this Friday on Smackdown! I'll be waiting in the ring then, and I will put on a show for these fans, and retain this title. Because I'm The Miz...and I'm.......AWESOME!

We return to the arena as the fans cheer for the new Intercontinental Champion. JR and Lawler discuss the big match on Friday, and ponder who the opponent might be. The arena is dying down as...

***Making Moves***

Boos hit the arena as the cocky Prime Time Players hit the stage. It's announced the following match will be a number one contender's match for the WWE Tag Team Championships, held by Team Hell No. Young and O'Neil taunt the crowd a little bit before hitting the ring and settling down, waiting for their opponents.

***Alga***

The Uso Twins step out, performing the "Manu Siva Tau" before to a pop from the crowd. After they finish, "So Close Now" plays them down to the ring. They climb into the ring as the PTP are ready to go, as the referee calls for the bell to get contest number three of the evening underway.

Match 3: The Prime Time Players vs. The Uso Twins: #1 contender's match for the WWE Tag Team Championships

Jimmy Uso and Titus O'Neil begin the match, and O'Neil takes an early upper hand. He goes to work on Uso, backing him into a corner and hitting lefts and rights. He spends the next minute hammering away at the face and body of Uso before hitting a couple slams and trying an early cover. A tag brings Young into the match to work away on Uso, and the two men spend the next two minutes working on each other before Jimmy tags Jey into the match.

Jey Uso gets the advantage with some high-powered offense and launches Young out of the ring with a back drop before knocking O'Neil off the apron into him. The two men get hit with a suicide dive by Jey as the match reaches it's high spot. As the action moves back into the ring, Jimmy gets tagged back into the match and works his power over on Young. Young manages to get a kick to the face to escape the attack of Uso and tags O'Neil back into the match. The power men of the two teams go at it again as Jimmy gets the advantage and whips O'Neil into the corner. He charges at him for a corner splash but Young pulls O'Neil out of the way. O'Neil goes for a clothesline and takes Jimmy Uso down. He measures up for another one, but Uso dodges and hits a full nelson bomb! He goes for the cover. 1...2... and broken up by Young. Jey Uso charges into the ring and starts brawling with Young.

The Usos team up to get Young out of the ring. They hit lefts and rights on Young and hit a double team suplex! Young lands and rolls out of the ring and Jey climbs to the apron and dives to take out Young. Jimmy turns around and...Clash of the Titus from O'Neil! O'Neil with the cover. 1...2... and 3! The Players win it!

Winners: Prime Time Players (8:07)

The PTP celebrate as the crowd boos the new #1 contender's to Kane and Daniel Bryan. They continue to celebrate on the way to the back as the show goes to commercial.

***Cult of Personality***

The sound of static cuts in before Cult of Personality plays, signaling the arrival of CM Punk, the man who went toe-to-toe with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. JR notes that Punk took the Deadman to the limit and may have been the closest ever to defeating him on the grandest stage. Punk is dressed in a "Best in the World t-shirt" and jeans. He has his microphone in hand and seems ready to address his loss at Mania. Once in the ring, his music cuts off as an "Under-taker" chant starts. Punk has a look of disgust on his face, and begins to talk anyway.

Punk: See, that is exactly what I despise about you people, and this company as as a whole. Yeah, Taker beat me. I put it all on the line, and last night, he was the better man. But now, you chant for him. You chant boldly and proudly like he's a savior of some sort. The thing is though, you're chanting for nothing. The Undertaker isn't here. He's gone, and he likely won't be back for a long time. You know who is here, standing before you all? C.M. Punk, the best...in the world. The man that had the balls to step up to The Phenom in his yard and took him to his brink! You know, there used to be this old saying by the big dog himself - step in my yard and I'll make you famous. I stepped in his yard, no fear, no regrets. He didn't make me famous though...because I already am.

The fans are booing Punk, thinking that he didn't learn a single thing from his defeat at he hands of Taker.

You know why I'm famous? Because I'm the best on this stick, and in this ring, night in and night out. I have been since I got here, and I will be til' I decide to leave. I was the longest reigning WWE Champion of this era. I dropped pipe bombs on this mic, became the Voice of the Voiceless, and MADE this company promote me.

Punk is on a tangent now, the passion and anger in his voice showing as the fans boo even louder.

You know who used to be great like me? The Undertaker. For years he'd strike fear into every single opponent that stood across from him. He'd send shivers down the spine of a man at the very MENTION of his name. Now, he comes around once a year to take on whatever guy wants to try and end the streak. That's all Taker is anymore, a streak, nostalgia, a draw at one event. Don't get me wrong, that one night a year, he can still go. I learned that the tough way. But where is he the rest of the year? No one knows. He doesn't come back for a rematch, he doesn't stick around and battle all year long. He's no longer the monster he used to be. He's not the Phenom anymore, he's just The Streak. A shell of his former self.

The crowd is raining down hate on Punk now, as he grins and soaks it all in. A "he still beat you chant" starts up.

Boo me all you want, you know it's true. And you know what, your damn right, he did beat me. But, can he do it again? And I don't mean in a year. I mean in the present. Say, at Retribution?

The fans slightly pop for this.

That's right Deadman, I'm calling you out. That was one hell of a match at Mania, but let's see if you can do it again. No waiting, no suspense, no streak. You and me, mano-y-mano.....in Hell...in a Cell.

The fans explode for the idea as Punk pauses.

So how about it Deadman? Let me prove you're nothing but a streak and a shell of who you used to be.

Punk waits, seemingly waiting to see if Taker will appear to answer his challenge. Punk waits a good 10-15 seconds, but there is no gong or appearance of Taker.

You know what, I realize Taker probably isn't here. He's probably hanging out with Kane at Katie's house. It's fine, I understand. I've got time; I dare you to accept it, Deadman.

"Cult of Personality" plays as Punk drops the mic and heads to the back. The fans boo him on the way out but are buzzing at the prospect of Punk's challenge. The announcer's discuss the implications of Punk's words. The show heads back to commercial.

***ChaChaLaLa***

Summer Rae dances out on stage before signaling the introduction of Fandango, who swings his hips on stage, before dancing down the the aisle to the ring with Summer in another extravagant entrance. As they reach the ring they do their number on the apron before Fandango enters the ring, more focused on perfecting his dancing than doing battle in the ring.

***Voices***

A determined Randy Orton steps from behind the curtains on stage, and begins a slow, calculated walk to the ring as Lawler discusses how Fandango pulled of a major upset last night, and how Orton should be wary of it occurring to him as well. Orton doesn't seem worried however, as he seems to have an evil look in his eyes. He finally makes it to the ring and the referee signals for the bell.

Match 4: Fandango vs. Randy Orton

As the match starts out, Fandango sets the pace for the first couple of minutes. He counters and reverses Orton in the beginning, filling the match with his numerous dancing and antics. He connects with a back body drop to Orton in the first real action of the match, before hitting a clothesline. He taunts Orton from here, yelling "get up, Viper" and stomping away at Orton's face. As Orton gets pack to his feet, he dodges Fandango. The two men go back and forth for a good while before Orton begins to set the pace of the match. He viciously begins to work away at Fandango, and stalks him before each move in the snake like way he moves. Orton, after wearing down Fandango, hits his trademark backbreaker and goes for a cover but only gets a two count. Orton tries to go for an Olympic slam but gets countered into an arm drag, and Fandango takes momentum and hits the offensive end again.

He keeps putting Orton down and eventually goes for a series of covers over the next few minutes, but Orton keeps kicking out. Orton swings momentum around and back Fandango into a corner, hitting vicious lefts and rights to daze him. Suddenly, the referee yells at Orton to let up, and Orton turns his back on Fandango to argue with the referee. Things get heated between the two in the center of the ring, and from behind Fandango rolls Orton up with a schoolboy! He pulls the tights, and the count, 1...2...3! Fandango upsets Orton!

Winner: Fandango (9:58)

Fandango slides out of the ring, meeting up with Summer Rae. They embrace in a hug before dancing backstage as the some of the crowd chants and dances to the music. Orton is infuriated in the ring as the referee smartly gets out of dodge. JR notes that Lawler was right, and Orton should have focused more on Fandango than his issue with the referee.

The camera heads backstage where Josh Matthews is standing by with Kane and Daniel Bryan. He talks about how earlier tonight, The Prime Time Players earned their shot at the champions, and how they seemed impressive in their showing. He asks if Team Hell No is prepared for their match in the near future with the Players, and how they feel about facing them. Kane takes the question.

Kane: Josh, the thing is, we're always prepared. We have our differences, but we're working through them. Not to mention we are two of the most vicious, violent competitors in the game today. We are cold, heartless, and ruthless, and will take on all competition with no fear. I am a monster, Daniel is the most agressive man in this company, and it's not a coincidence we've held these belts since Night of Champions. And who are the Prime Time Players? A couple of young punks, with nowhere near the agression or experience Daniel and I have. The fans see it too, and let them know it every time they come out to the ring.

So the question isn't are we prepared for them. No, the question is are they prepared for us. Because we take no prisoners, and we'll show the Players how we take care of business.

--------------------

Back from commercial, the arena is filled with chatter and speculation about what will come next in the show that has been action packed so far. A familiar music hits the PA.

***Here to Show the World***

"The Show Off" enters the arena, AJ Lee, in yoga pants and a low cut top, by his side. He runs his hands through his hair before strutting to the ring with his girl on his arm. Dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, he allows AJ to enter the ring first, before slapping her on her butt, as the commentary team notes they think Dolph should "tone it down." He grabs a mic from ringside and has something to say.

Ziggler: You know, you all boo me, because you wish you were me. You're jealous, jealous of my beach bod, my gorgeous blonde locks, my smoking hot girlfriend..

He pauses to eye AJ over again.

The thing everyone is most jealous of me for is, however, what I hold in my hand. My Money in the Bank briefcase. You see, in this case, I hold a first-class ticket to a prize that will create a legend. I am a superstar in the making, and that's what sparks the envy in all of you dirty fans, and all of my co-workers the most. You wish you could have what I have, live the life I lead, and be the man I am. A star, a charismatic young man, bold and full of courage. Which brings me back to this case. Most people who hold this win on a weakened opponent, and I've tried it a few times myself. But I want to let you all know just how great I am. I don't have to win over a weakened man, cause I'm just so damn good I can beat anyone one-on-one at anytime. Which is why I'm out here tonight to announce that at Retribution, I'm cashing my Money in the Bank briefcase at Retribution against the WWE Champion, whoever that may be. Because if John Cena can announce his before hand, then damnit I can too.

So, at Retribution, you can count on me cementing my legacy by becoming the WWE Champion. Then you all will have just one more thing to envy me for. Because I am Dolph Ziggler, I am the show-off, and I am perfection!

Ziggler's music hits as he exits the ring and heads to the back with AJ. JR hypes up the match at Retribution but ponders who Ziggler's opponent will be. "Realeza 2013" hits as ADR's entrance begins. Lawler says we'll find out Ziggler's opponent at Retribution up next in the main event!

--------------------

Back on RAW, Del Rio is in the ring, ready and roaring to go and earn a championship.

***My Time Is Now***

Cena hits the arena for the second time tonight, pumped up and ready to do battle with Ziggler. He sprints to the ring and tosses his t-shirt to the crowd, as we get the intros for the match.

Lillian Garcia: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is a one-on-one contest for the WWE Championship, and I have just been informed it is a no disqualifications match! Introducing first, the challenger, weighing 239 pounds, Alberto Del Rio! And his opponent, weighing in at 251 pounds, he is the reigning WWE Champion, John Cena!

Match 5: Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena: No Disqualifications match for the WWE Championship

The bell rings as Cena charges about Del Rio, shoving him into the corner. He unleashes lefts and rights on ADR, before turning away with a roar as Del Rio comes back at him he lifts him up and drops him with a powerslam. As Del Rio climbs back up, Cena sends him flying into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Del Rio ducks and hits a suplex on the champ. ADR hops up and goes to work on Cena. He stops away at the body of Cena, taunting the champion while doing so. He waits as Cena regains his feet, Del Rio hits a belly-to-belly suplex on John, taking control of the match. He slides out of the ring, and heads to the announce table to grab a steel chair. He slides it in the ring and walks toward Cena, now on his feet, but is met with a kick to the gut, followed by a fisherman's suplex, bridging into a leg hook. 1...kick out by Del Rio quickly.

Cena rolls to his feet and drags ADR up, swinging lefts and rights at him, but Del Rio counters one and swings him into the ropes. Cena bounces back and Del Rio sends him up with a back body drop straight onto a steel chair. Cena writhes in pain on the mat as Del Rio goes back to work twisting the right arm of Cena and then stomping away at it, wearing it down for is Cross Armbreaker. He slides out of the ring again while Cena is down, searching for another steel chair. He finds one and heads back to the ring. He positions Cena, still down, with his right arm over the first chair, before lifting the second one up. He goes for a con-chair-to on Cena's arm but John dodges! Cena gets to his knees and punches Del Rio in the stomach. He trips him up, before standing and grabbing a steel chair. Done playing games with Del Rio, he slams the chair across the back of Alberto, causing a scream of agony. Cena slams the chair off his back again before dragging ADR to his feet. He hits a belly-to-back suplex on Del Rio. He picks ADR, who is now hurting severely, up to his feet, before whipping him into the ropes. ADR rebounds and Cena, set up by the ropes, sends him up and over to the floor, as Del Rio lands hard in front of the fans and barricade.

Cena follows ADR to the outside, waiting for him to stand. Del Rio gets up, turning right in to a fist from Cena, but Alberto blocks it, and whips John hard into the barricade. He follows Cena to the barricade where John's had the wind knocked out of him. ADR slaps him in the face, before dragging him out towards the entrance ramp. He grabs Cena by the back of the head and slams him to the ground, with Cena's body cracking off the cold metal. ADR has a cold look on his face, as he drags Cena back to the ring. He rolls him inside and goes for a pin. 1...2..and John kicks out! Del Rio is beginning to wonder how much more punishment he'll have to deliver to put Cena away. He drags Cena up and whips him into the ropes, and catches him on the rebound with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. ADR let's Cena fall, and he lays in front of the turnbuckle. He stares down at Cena before climbing up top. He looks back down at Cena one last time to measure him up, before launching from the top with a moonsault! It connects. and ADR goes for a pin 1...2....and Cena gets his shoulder up at the last moment!

ADR is getting frustrated at this point, as he is having trouble putting Cena away. He drags Cena up who in a last ditch effort, hits a hard punch to the jaw. He buys enough time to gain some momentum and hits a suplex on ADR. As Del Rio stands again, Cena doubles him over with a kick to the stomach, before breaking a running neck snap! Cena has a second wind, although clearly tired, and hits a bulldog on ADR as he tries to get up again. John Cena tries to pump up the crowd, as he climbs to the apron. He pauses a moment to regain his breath, before making the slow, treacherous climb up top. He looks to jump of and catch ADR but suddenly he pops to his feet and runs towards Cena. He punches Cena in the face before hitting a step-up enzuiguri, knocking Cena to the mat, as a tired ADR drops with him. Both men are down as RAW goes to it's final commercial break.

--------------------

Back from commercial, both men are back to their feet, as Cena as a side headlock on ADR. Del Rio manages to counter out of it and twists Cena's arm behind his back. He stretches Cena's arm out even further, as Cena let's out yells of pain. ADR starts taunting Cena while further torturing the right arm he worked on earlier, but Cena manages to reverse out of the hold. He ducks under Del Rio and kicks him in the gut, before lifting him up and slamming him with the Attitude Adjustment! Cena goes for the cover. 1...2...3! NO! The referee counts three before seeing ADR's foot on the ropes. He tells Cena as John is frustrated. John backs up, stalking ADR as he gets backup to his feet. He lifts him up for another Attitude Adjustment but ADR wriggles out! Cena turns around into a hurricanrana from ADR. The Mexican Aristacrat takes advantage of this opening as he grabs the steel chair and takes it to the back of Cena. He then tosses the chair aside and stalks Cena back to his feet before slamming the champion with a DDT! He goes for the cover. 1.....2.....and yet again Cena kicks out! ADR is extremely frustrated.

Del Rio grabs a steel chair, and stalks John back to his feet. He smacks Cena in the alredy damaged right arm, as John screams in agony. Del Rio quickly grabs Cena and rolls him into his signatur Cross Armbreaker, as the crowd senses that Cena may be in serious trouble! Cena screams in agony before trying to crawl towards the ropes. He inches a bit closer to the ropes with his incredible strength, and on the verge of tapping out, reaches towards the ropes. Can he make it!? And.......yes! He gets a hand on the ropes, forcing a break. ADR relinquishes the hold, and is trying to dig deep to find some way to win. He leans against the ropes for a few seconds, before standing up to face Cena again. John is meanwhile dragging himself to his feet with the ropes. ADR charges with a clothesline, but Cena trips him and locks in an STF! ADR screams in pain and looks to be in trouble. He starts inching towards the ropes, but holds his hand up as if to tap. He fights it back though, and crawls closer to the ropes. He is within arm's length of the ropes and reaches out.....no! Cena drags him back to the center of the ring. ADR tries to hold in for another round but cannot hold back. He taps the mat, signaling his submission!

Winner: John Cena (18:58)

The announcers are in shock of the grueling match as the fans give a standing ovation to Cena as he struggles to stand after such an intense match. JR comments that this was PPV level and a very possible match of the year candidate. ADR is drained and rolls of the ring as the referee raises Cena hand with his championship belt. "My Time Is Now" continues to play, but suddenly AJ Lee runs out on stage. She runs to the ring and hops up on the apron as John's music cuts off. She distracts John and Dolph Ziggler hops the barricade, briefcase in hand. He slides in the ring and drops his briefcase behind Cena, before hitting a Zig-Zag on Cena onto the briefcase! The crowd showers down boos onto Ziggler as he and AJ stand tall over Cena, a smug grin on Ziggler's face. They exit the ring and walk back up the aisle, a large smile still plastered on both of their faces. The referee checks on Cena as the camera switches back to that, before giving us a final close up of the smiling AJ and Ziggler before fading off the air.

Opening promo was hit and miss with me. It was too short but it’s smart that you wanted some tension between the former World Champion and WWE Champion. Del Rio has legitimate beef because of his title being taken away from him. But I do think Del Rio could’ve said more to frustrate Cena. Cena didn’t sound like himself here. He would’ve told Del Rio to get over and keep fighting because he’s looking for a #1 contender or something like that. But yeah, the opening could’ve been so much better.

So two matches in a row and one of them was Brock Lesnar? I’m not sure why Lesnar would be on the show to wrestle someone like Yoshi. He could’ve simply just come out and cut a promo saying that he’ll be taking time off. Actually, you didn’t really need to have him appear on Raw. It would’ve been fine if you wrote a wwe.com exclusive where Brock decides to take some time off or write a report. I think this may have been a wasted segment.

Miz promo was decent, I like his face turn a whole lot. Miz has grown on me for sure so I await what you have in store for him. Punk’s promo on Undertaker has me intrigued. Who wouldn’t wanna see Taker and Punk go at it again and Hell in a Cell? That’ll be great. Good story already, let’s see if your execution is well done.

I’ll jump straight into Ziggler’s promo here. You have him letting the WWE Champion know that he’ll cash it in? I’m not sure if you want him to turn face or not, but I don’t think this is the way to do it. I know you may be trying to play up to Ziggler’s nickname as the Showoff, but this is his chance to be the WWE Champion, I don’t think that he’d announce when he’ll cash in his briefcase. But nonetheless, it might be good, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Won’t really comment on your match writing because you said you’ll be writing them in recaps and I’m not too sure on how to comment on them. Hmm, Raw is 3 hours right? This didn’t seem like a three hour show at all. You maybe could’ve feature more superstars since it’s 3 hours and made some promos a bit longer. The ending of the main event had me excited a little bit as I thought Ziggler would’ve cashed in right then and there. Would’ve been pretty sneaky of him if that happened but Cena is still the champion for now.

Overall, in my honest opinion, the show wasn’t the best. The first shows are always the hardest to put out so you’ve gotten that out of the way. The promos need more description, the storytelling needs work, and everything in general needs work tbh, sorry. Don’t mean to be harsh but that’s what I think. You’ve got me interested in the routes that you’ll take Punk and Ziggler in though, so that’s good. If you need any help, you can always shoot me a PM. Don't be discouraged by my feedback, just keep truckin' on and you're sure to improve. It may be the rust from not writing for so long but I know you can do better. So yeah, that’s all. Will be reading Smackdown!

Megatron's RAW Review:

It's been a while since I dropped a review for someone, and since this is your first show in this thread what better place to start? I haven't read any of your work yet but, just a warning, my criticisms (if there are any) are meant to help you improve as a booker. I'm not here to insult anyone, no matter your reputation (trust me when I say that). I'm gonna be a straight shooter about that, and I hope you respect it and take it in stride. Now on with the review...

Not going to lie, I like all of my thread stuff in one clean place. At least the opening post, so I don't have to search who's all on the roster and where the thread is starting from, etc. etc. Additionally, I don't like your Triple H announcement at all. Not the message, but the setting of it. That type of announcement shouldn't be made at the end of Wrestlemania, the biggest show of the year, after one of the more hyped up main events in recent memory. That could've easily been saved for the opening of the next night's RAW and frankly, it should've. All the spotlight that shoudl've been on Cena and Rock for accepting each other and ending the angle was cut short because of an announcement by the Game. I understand you may have wanted to get that out of the way right away, but it really would've been better off kicking off the show that way. Also, Wrestlemania results could've been made in the opening post. I'm not an avid follower of the WWE anymore so for uninformed minds such as I a refresher would've been very helpful. Not trying to be picky, but then it's at least easy to figure out what angles may be started.

Alright, ADR to kick off. I probably would've kicked off with Cena myself, seeing as how he won in the main event last night against one of the biggest stars in WWE history, but I digress. Both :lmao: and  at ADR calling Cena a “classless, young thug” since it's been widely pushed by the WWE for a while that Cena is one of the most sociable wrestlers to his fanbases and because Cena is actually a month OLDER than ADR and has been in the WWE for a much longer tenure. I get trying to stir up some heat by insulting the champ, but try to have it contain some relevance to the guy's character now. Cena hasn't been a wigger since 05-06 and hasn't been a heel since even earlier. Poor choice of words for an insult there. Very cookie cutter promo otherwise. I know Cena can be Mr. Goody Two Shoes, but a little more friendly trash talk would be more Cena like. A very short promo in all, although at least there now is a little bit of heat and buildup for a match that was announced rather abruptly. At least there's a little bit of care behind the match now, even though I'd still like some more buildup.

I don't really care for long, detailed matches for TV's unless they are a critical part to a storyline or are a title match. So I'll give you some credit for your opening match. It's not too short, as there's at least a little bit of a story – Jericho's trying to work the body for the Walls of Jericho, Barrett's trying to outmuscle the smaller Jericho – but it's not long and dragging. Not much more to say for a small opener, although I don't get how JR and King are saying Barrett could be a threat for the WWE Championship when he just lost his IC title the night before. A push looks evident, but even after a win over Jericho he doesn't look all that much of a threat. Remember, he lost to the Miz on a preshow. How big of a threat can he really be. Hopefully you don't throw him into a title angle too soon. Get him against someone that can put him over (Jericho wouldn't have been a bad choice, but you can't really bother with him now that Barrett took care of him in under 7 minutes).

That was a, er, weird segue. I would've preferred a promo or something inbetween (or something in addition to the promo video we got) but oh well. Don't understand letting Lesnar squash Tatsu then saying he's taking time off right after. Just very, very weird. Since Lesnar is a heel, I think there could've been a much easier way to go about him taking time off. Tell Trips he's not gonna let Trips tell him what to do and that he's out. Show him bitching out Vince. Something different. The match just was bad filler for no reason, since you easily could've threw someone else in there that could've used the win for a momentum builder and you still could've developed an angle with Lesnar. I'm not wasting a squash win for a guy that's gonna be out for a while immediately after. Let that match be for someone that can be useful in your thread. You only have so many guys on the roster as it is. Use Tatsu as fodder to build one of your younger guys up. Lesnar doesn't need squash matches at this point in his career. You don't see Cena, Undertaker, Orton, etc. get those guys. That's where Lesnar's at right now.

Another rather cookie cutter promo, but since Miz doesn't really have an angle right now I guess there's not a whole lot you could do about that. Nice to see the IC champ get some airtime after being relegated to pre-show work on Wrestlemania, but hopefully this isn't what he sounds like once he gets an angle going. That'd be just awful.

Decent tag team action here, even though I have no clue who the PTP's are (that's more my ignorance of the current product than anything, don't worry about that). It features your normal heel/face tag team action which isn't bad, since I feel multi-man matches can be quite a challenge to write for BT's. With Kane and Bryan being faces it was clear the heels were gonna walk away with it all along, but at least the Uso's put up a challenge and the dirtiness of the PTP's was played up a bit. Solid booking.

The Punk promo was by far your best of the night. Some nice play ups to his mannerisms and such, but there was still some issues I had. Mainly, you made him too apologetic. The guy is the “Best in the World”. Don't let him give Taker the satisfaction of pulling one over him. Play up how he was only seconds away from winning and how it was luck, unfortunate circumstances, etc. Basically, make Punk come off as a sore loser who wants his revenge. Punk isn't some respectful heel. He's the motherfucking best in the world. He should be playing up that he lost the match, not that Taker won it. Additionally, this comment:

He's probably hanging out with Kane at Katie's house.

Was absolutely awful to be added in. Nothing better than brining up a decade old angle that many people wouldn't understand the joke to. Wayy too snarky of a comment, even by Punk's standards. I get he's trying to get under Taker's skin, but bringing up Kane is a terrible way to do it. Taker had nothing to do with that angle and the brother's angle really hasn't been brought up between the two for a while now. Hated that remark which turned it from a decent promo that could've been better to meh. Just trying to get a cheap laugh from the smarks, just no.. Continuing to build up the Punk/Taker angle, though, I like. I imagine Punk will be getting the push here, as Taker doesn't have much to gain anymore.

Another decent match between Orton and Fandango. I see Orton's kinda in limbo right now, as he was in the opening tag last night at Mania and is right now angle-ness. Hope for his sake that isn't long lasting as Orton is always a credible threat. As for Fandango, a win over Orton and Jericho in back to back nights is quite the feat. I'm expecting some follow up on him soon.

Some more little buildup for a future title match, which is always nice to see. You want some buildup at least, although I'm surprised Kane was the one doing the talking. From all of my years watching Kane, I don't think he's ever cut a decent length promo, at least not in a tag team capacity. Would've preferred DB to get the mic there, but that may just be me picking nits at this point.

Of course the MITB holder should get some air time, but I feel like I'm experiencing Deja Vu over the 3 promo's from the heels I've read from you today between ADR, Punk, and Ziggler. All pretty much said I'm the best, insulted the fans, said the wish they could be me, etc. etc. One guy like that is fine. Two like that is pushing it. 3 like that seems like a little much. Give a little more spice in these characters. Punk has had the established BITW gimmick for a while now, so I'd suggest Ziggler and/or ADR get some makeover changes. Not complete overhauls, but something to make them stick out from their counterparts. Nobody wants to read the same promo 3 times in one show. Build up a character for these guys.

Really think ADR should've had his music listed and his entrance shown. It's a small thing, but it makes it seem like he's not a big deal since he's making his way down the ring during commercial. If you want to make him seem as a threat, least he could do is get an entrance and get the crowd booing him. If you want your guys to look good, the small things like that give it a nice dimension. With the small build it got and lack of entrance shown, it's pretty clear Cena's gonna retain.

Again, I'm not gonna go into every little match detail because it is just a TV main event and I mainly think TV's should be used for building up PPVs. However, I will say that, while I like that ADR was a credible threat in the match and pushed Cena to the brink, you would be best off proofreading after you're done writing the match. Small grammatical mistakes were easily seen by me and that can be a turnoff for some. I'm not trying to be the grammar police, but take 5-10 minutes after every segment to proofread to help your matches and promos flow better. It will improve your shows even slightly, which always helps.

Post match, I think you made your best booking decision of the night. Cena's gone back to back nights of tough battles, and ADR took him to the limit and then some. This is the perfect time for Ziggler to both a) send a message to Cena that he's a threat and b) build up some heat for himself. Any cheap shots that can be used to “build up” a heel against a mega-star like Cena I approve of. Now at least we'll have something to build off of for future shows. Solid work.

Overall, I must say it was a tough read at times. The match writings I didn't have a problem with, but many of your promos seemed generic and very similar. I already covered the Punk/ADR/Ziggler problem, but even guys like Cena and Miz sounded like cookie cutter babyfaces. Give these guys a little character in them. I understand this is your first show and that once you get angles going it should be better so I'll give you a little bit of a leash, but if I have one thing to say to you is that you should work on your promo writing and look around at the better writers and read their promos. It'll help a lot. There's no need to rush with it, and it looks like you haven't as it took you a month from your opening post to get a show up. Just keep at it and keep reading some of the more well thought of BT's and you'll be in good shape. I'm not gonna give a grade, just know that there's a lot of room for improvement. It's always good to get the first show out of the way, though, so good job and good luck with your product. I'll try to keep involved with your thread to see how you're doing. I hope you don't take my advice too hard. I mean well. :)
