The Road to Wrestlemania 2013 led to one of the most memorable Wrestlemania's ever. It was truly the showcase of the immortals as two of the greatest sports entertainers of all time faced against each other for one of the most coveted prizes in sports entertainment history. And redemption was captured. The following night, the new WWE season kicked off with an electrifying crowd that brought joy to many, and ended up to be one of the best Monday Night Raw episodes in recent memory. The question for many is what's next after the April 8th Monday Night Raw? What's next is May 19th. The day of the most brutal and graphic wrestling event of the year, Extreme Rules. When the WWE goes extreme, everything turns serious. At this time of year, any wrestler can turn into the most vicious creature that there is on this planet. There will be no mercy at Extreme Rules.

CM Punk returns to Monday Night Raw: What will the "Best in the World" will have to say about his loss to the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, and what's next for one of the most controversial wrestlers in WWE history?

Ryback attacks John Cena: Last Monday Night Raw, Ryback sent a strong message to the WWE Champion to let him know that he's coming for the WWE title, and this isn't Cena's only problem, as he also has to worry about the World's Strongest Man Mark Henry. Who will be the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship?

Dolph Ziggler Cashes in on Alberto Del Rio: The Show Off has done it. Dolph Ziggler has seized the opportunity, and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Del Rio on the other hand is looking to regain back the title that he prides himself on, and swears to get back the World Heavyweight Championship.

Team Hell No unites with the Undertaker: The Shield's plan to attack The Undertaker was foiled as Undertaker's brother Kane and "The Dazzler" Daniel Bryan came out to make the odds even against The Shield. How will The Shield react to the alliance of The Undertaker and Team Hell No?

Video Package: The video package starts off with John Cena giving his opening promo to last week's, and shows the crowd reactions that he received during the promo. The video package then cuts to Mark Henry saying that he deserves to be the #1 contender, and with Cena responding by willingly putting his title on the line. The package then cuts to Booker T coming out saying that Mark Henry must beat John Cena to become the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship. The package shows highlights of Cena vs Henry, and then shows Ryback making his way to the ring after Cena won by countout. The video package ends with Ryback attacking John Cena to conclude last week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

“The Night” by Kromestatik plays as the opening pyro goes off.

Cole: Welcome to Monday Night Raw. I'm Micheal Cole, and alongside with me is JBL, and tonight, Raw is coming off the heels of one the greatest episodes of Raw.

JBL: We don't agree on a lot of things Cole, but I have to agree with what you just said. The crowd made the episode very special along with everything that happened on Raw.

Cole: Yes indeed. Tonight we have a huge main event as Ryback and Mark Henry will face against each other in a #1 Contender's Match for the WWE Championship.

The sound of static goes off, and is followed by “Cult of Personality”. CM Punk walks out to a mostly negative reaction. CM Punk walks down the ramp with a microphone in his hand with a serious look on his face. CM Punk enters the ring and listens to the crowd reaction. The crowd continues to give Punk massive heat along with minor “CM Punk!” chants in the background. Punk procceds to talk.

Punk: I know that everyone of you in this arena tonight are ready to point and laugh at me for losing to The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Because I fell to the Tombstone Piledriver, and got pinned to the mat 1, 2, 3, I guess that makes everything I set myself to do is a failure. Well the truth is that it didn't matter whether I won or lost at Wrestlemania to the The Undertaker. What matters I that no one has been able to outsmart The Undertaker and mess with him physically and mentally like I have done. I proved to The Undertaker that I'm the Best in the World, and I proved to be The Undertaker's toughest Wrestlemania opponent in the history of the streak, and that's the truth. Undertaker, you know that you can't deny that. I have nothing against Paul Bearer, but it was so easy manipulating you Taker. I actually had fun playing mind games with you. I busted the myth that The Undertaker is the “master of tricks and mind games”. I outsmarted The Undertaker and no one but me is able to say that.

The crowd boos Punk heavily after the last sentence he made.

Punk: Enough with the past, let's talk about the future. The Extreme Rules pay per view is next month, and that pay per view is my favorite pay per view of the year. Extreme Rules shows the brutality and the pain of what a person can go through. The pay per view can break bones, it could define careers, it could end careers.....

Punk pauses for awhile.
Punk: It can end lives. Not only I'm the Best in the World, but I'm also the most dangerous man in the world. I'm the most hardcore person in the WWE and it's been proven. I've been brought up through this company by Paul Heyman and worked in the re-launch of ECW, and even the ECW “extremists” say I'm too hardcore for them. I've been watered down for the entire time I've been in this company and I think that it's time now that I show my true colors. My hardcore roots. My crusade to becoming the most dangerous man in the world.

“Just Close Your Eyes” plays, and the crowd goes wild. Christian walks out onto the stage with a mic in his hand, and looks at the crowd around. He smiles as he enjoys the massive pops that he receiving from the crowd. Christian walks down the ramp and enters the ring.

Christian: God it's been a long time since I've wrestled here on Monday Night Raw, and it's nice to be back in the WWE, but I think we had enough of your rhetoric CM Punk.

Punk: What are you doing out here interrupting my speech to these ignorant people. Shouldn't you be in a retirement home with Edge.

The crowd is shocked as they heard what Punk has just said, and continues to give him more heat.

Christian: What you've just said is the main reason I've come out here tonight. Your lack of respect to the WWE roster is sickening. And the worst display of your lack of respect was shown during your battle with The Undertaker.

Punk: You're criticizing my lack of respect to everyone in the WWE when no one in the WWE respects me? I've been preaching respect during the greatest WWE Championship reign of all time. I've held the WWE Championship for 434 days, and people still refuse to respect me. Since everyone refuses to respect me, I'll have to beat respect into everyone, and Christian, you can become my first victim.

Christian: CM Punk I think you are forgetting who I am. In the Attitude Era, I defined hardcore with Edge through the use of tables, ladders, and chairs. It is because of those weapons why my best friend doesn't wrestle anymore and for you to disrespect my best friend angers me. CM Punk I have no problem with kicking your ass tonight. We can fight right now.

CM Punk: That sounds like a good idea, except that you haven't earned my respect. When you step toe to toe with someone like The Undertaker and is able to beat him, then you will have my respect. Until then, get out my ring!

Christian: I have no problem in facing against one of the greatest wrestlers of all time tonight on Monday Night Raw, and if you want me to leave the ring, then you're going to have to kick my ass to do it.

Christian and CM Punk stare at each other with anger face to face, as the crowd eggs them on to fight. A loud gong is heard, and the lights go dim. Undertaker's music plays as The Phenom slowly walks out onto the stage. CM Punk quickly exits the ring and goes to sit at the commentary table. Christian takes off his shirt, and remains in the ring as he is prepared to fight The Undertaker.

Cole: And what a tremendous way to kick off Monday Night Raw. Christian vs. The Undertaker.

JBL: This match definitely has the potential to become a five star classic.

Cole: And with us we have CM Punk.

CM Punk: Shut up Cole, I don't need an introduction as everyone knows who I am. What makes me sick here is that Christian is trying to take the spotlight away from me by interrupting my speech. I'm going to make him pay, and he's going to be the first person to know why I am the most dangerous man in the world.

JBL: I agree with you Punk. If Christian wanted to make his return, then he should've waited after you was finished.

The Undertaker enters the the ring and the arena lights turns back to normal. Undertaker takes off his robe and waits for the bell to ring.

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns climb over the barricade, while Seth Rollins jumps over the barricade, and rolls onto the floor. Rollins, Reigns, and Ambrose surrounds the ring as Undertaker and Christian gets prepared to fight The Shield.

Cole: This itself is an injustice. The Shield are about to beat down two of the most respected men in the WWE. Why do they have to do this?

JBL: They are doing this to right all the wrongs in the WWE. Their mission is to bring justice to the WWE.

Cole: But how is attacking The Undertaker and Christian bringing any justice to the WWE? What have they done wrong?

Punk leaves the commentary table, and also surrounds the ring with The Shield.

Cole: Now CM Punk is going to get in on the attack to. This is going to be hard to watch for all of us here tonight.

Cole: I'm glad that this didn't end in The Shield and CM Punk beating down Undertaker and Christian. Those two didn't deserve to get beat down especially when they put out a pay per view quality match out here tonight.

JBL: Eventually someone will get beaten down. The Shield are probably the smartest group I've ever seen in wrestling, and they probably are planning something big in the near future.

Cole: Well we might have already seen that tonight. Noticed how CM Punk joined with The Shield to attack Christian and The Undertaker?

JBL: Are you trying insinuate that CM Punk is part of The Shield. You must be stupid to think that. CM Punk got involved because he has something with The Undertaker and Christian.

Cole: It might be deeper than that JBL. Anyways stay tuned as we head to commercial.

Barrett: Tonight, I will defend my Intercontinental Championship for the very last time against The Miz, and I'm glad that this match between us will be a No Disqualification Match. The Miz doesn't know who he's dealing with tonight. I'm a bare knuckle boxing champion. I've split people's skulls in half with one punch, while The Miz was on some stupid reality show. I've more people's bones than the times The Miz always says his stupid catch phrase. Listen here Mike, I'll try my very best to knock you out into oblivion, where you belong, and I'll prove why I am the greatest Inter...

The Miz then appears, standing face to face with Barrett.

The winner of the match by pinfall, and still the Intercontinental Champion.....WADE BARRETT!

JBL: That was one hell of a match. We've seen tables, ladders, chairs, and kendo sticks being used in this match. Wade Barrett has proven himself to be a true fighting champion.

Cole: I agree with you, but I hope that The Miz is ok as several trainers are tending to him now.

Paul Heyman is shown on the titantron in the locker room area talking to someone on the phone.

Heyman: No, Brock Lesnar will not be here tonight on Raw.....What do you mean I promised that he will be here tonight? Nobody here is worthy of facing Brock Lesnar.....You know what. You are wasting my time and you don't deserve to speak with me anymore more.

Heyman hangs up the phone, and Christian appears.

Heyman: What do you want?

Christian: I want a match with CM Punk at Extreme Rules.

Heyman: Why the hell are you talking to me for that?

Christian: Because I know that you can convince CM Punk to face me at Extreme Rules. After all CM Punk is a “Paul Heyman Guy”.

Heyman: Let me tell you something Christian. I remember when I managed ECW, I watched guys like you and your friend Edge trying to imitate our style of hardcore wrestling. You thought that you were the most hardcore badasses there were on this planet using tables, ladders, and chairs. Christian, you don't even come close to being hardcore let alone being extreme. You don't stand a chance facing CM Punk in a hardcore environment. CM Punk is the most dangerous man in the world, and you will end up just like Edge if you face against him at Extreme Rules. Consider this your warning because the WWE Universe wouldn't want to see you end up like Edge, where he was a idiot pretending to be hardcore, and his frail body couldn't handle the easy crap that he was doing.

Christian gets angry and shoves Heyman into one of the lockers.

Christian: You shut up about Edge. I don't care who about who you and what CM Punk claims himself to be, but if you don't do anything to make a match betwe....

CM Punk comes in and beats Christian down with a lead pipe. CM Punk hits Christian with a lead pipe ten more times, and then drops the pipe.

CM Punk: Christian, you want a match with the most dangerous man on this planet at Extreme Rules? Well you've got one, but consider this match to be your death sentence because after Extreme Rules your neck will be in the same condition as Edge's.

CM Punk grabs the pipe and hits Christian with the pipe three times in the neck. Punk and Heyman leaves the area, and Christian lays on the ground in pain.

The winner of the match by pinfall and the #1 contender for the Divas Championship.......AJ LEE!

Kaitlyn is shown backstage watching the match in disgust.

Cole: Wow! What a way to win the match. AJ Lee uses her boyfriend's finishing maneuver to get the win.

JBL: AJ Lee hitting the Zig Zag on Layla shows how great of a couple Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee are. Kaitlyn better watch out or her reign as Divas Champion may end soon.

Cole: And with that match, that brings us to two matches set for Extreme Rules.

Alive and Kicking by Nonpoint plays as the match card for Extreme Rules 2013 is shown.

Cole: At Extreme Rules, it will be AJ Lee vs. Kaitlyn for Divas Championship, and it will be CM Punk vs Christian, and a stipulation hasn't been decided yet for that match.

JBL: That match is gonna be brutal and hellacious. I wouldn't be surprised if CM Punk vs Christian turns out to be match of the year.

Cole: Indeed, and also we will have another match set for Extreme Rules after Monday Night Raw ends, as Ryback takes on Mark Henry in a #1 Contender's Match for the WWE Championship as our main event tonight for Monday Night Raw. Also on Friday Night Smackdown, it will be Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger in a No Disqualification Match to determine who will be the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

JBL: We have a good week ahead of us.

Cole: That's right. Stay tuned as we will return to Monday Night Raw.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Monday Night Raw returns with Dolph Ziggler alone backstage with his World Heavyweight Championship around his waist.

Dolph Ziggler: You people already know who I am. I am the show stealing, heart stopping, charismatic champion of the WWE, and I've shown the world that I am the most talented wrestler on this roster! Zeb Colter said that Jack Swagger is the main reason why I won the World Heavyweight Championship. That statement is deeply incorrect. I won the World Heavyweight Championship because I picked the right time to do. I cashed in on the perfect opportunity to win the title, and I did it successfully. My message for you Jack Swagger is that if you stay out of my way, then we won't have any problems with each other, but if you choose to interfere with my business, then you will have to pay some huge consequences.

The camera shows Big E Langston standing next to Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler: As for you Alberto. I know that we will have another encounter with each other soon, an whether if it's next week on Monday Night Raw, or if it's at Extreme Rules. I'll be ready to choke you out on that mat, and send you to the back of line. The point is that if anyone steps up to face against The Show Off, then prepare to have your dreams of becoming World Heavyweight Champion demolished. Show..........Off!

Having Punk open the show was alright and it certainly generated interest right away. However, I wasn’t sure the direction of the promo was the best. I don’t think being proud of taking the Undertaker to the limit is a great accomplishment especially since Punk is a pretty established star. It just seemed pretty immature to gloat about ALMOST winning against the Undertaker. I think this promo would’ve been good if someone like an up-and-comer faced the Undertaker ala Randy Orton back in the day. Christian returning is great, I’m a big fan. But for ‘Taker to randomly show up and agree to wrestle Christian like that just seems highly unlikely. As for the match, I think it was alright for you to not have an ending. I guess the whole point of getting Christian and ‘Taker on the show is so that you can set up something with The Shield. Though it wasn’t the best execution, I’ll just go with it.

The Kozlov vignette seemed a bit much. I don’t think WWE would ever mention murder on live television. Also, you’re really gonna bring back Kozlov? He sucks, lol. But anyway, it seems you’re high on him so I look forward to seeing what you do with him. So what exactly did the Mysterio/Cara/Team Hell No match accomplish? You always want a match to advance a story so this match just seemed useless. The Miz/Barrett feud should end soon so yeah, I really have nothing else to say on that. I think you’re using the “attack from behind” route a bit too much. It’s already happened two times, almost three times with The Shield but it didn’t happen. There are other ways to advance a story so yeah, you might want to change it up. AJ using the Zig-Zag is pretty sweet. Hope you build up the divas division again since it could actually be entertaining.

The World Title has been reduced to a upper midcard title so I think it was a little underwhelming for Ziggler to only appear in a backstage interview. But this was actually your best promo of the night imo. But you’ll improve as you write more shows. The Fandango/Jericho feud is fine, I like that you’re not letting them get physical as of yet. Let the fuel burn more between them then let them fight. As for the main event, I would’ve liked to seen this but I’m not a fan of the ending. I know Ryback is a strong guy, but you could’ve added more details in to say that Ryback struggled to finish Henry off with the Shellshock. With the way you wrote it, it seemed like it was fairly easy for Ryback to do it. Kind of hurts Henry’s gimmick as the World’s Strongest Man. So some attention to detail is in order for sure. Again, you had Cena come from behind and attack Ryback. You’ve used this route almost the entire night. Also, it doesn’t match what Cena would do. Cena is a “by the rules” guy and you didn’t portray him that way. A lot of work to do man.

Overall, you have a lot of work to do to improve your shows. The format isn’t the best but you can improve on that easily. Promos need work, booking needs work. I say that because you used the “attack from behind” route almost the entire show, so you’ll need to lessen that. The first show is always the hardest to post so now that you’ve got that out of the way, you know what to do next. Don’t mean for this review to be negative, just trying to help you improve. If you have anymore questions, just shoot me PM man. Goodluck! Onto the next show.

Thanks man for the review. I'll definitely use your advice on future shows, but you probably won't see the changes I make to my show except for format on this week's Smackdown, since I've done about 80% of the show so far. My comments in rrepsonse your review are in bold.

Punk in his promo explained that he didn't care whether he won or loss against the Undertaker (which is a cover up for his disappointment for losing to Taker), he explains that no one was able to outsmart The Undertaker like he did in his feud against him, which makes Punk thinks he's the smartest in the business, and that he's the Best in the World. I understand on what you said about Christian and Taker. The match was setup mainly for the very end of the match to build a storyline for The Shield leading up to Extreme Rules.

The Kozlov vignette seemed a bit much. I don’t think WWE would ever mention murder on live television. Also, you’re really gonna bring back Kozlov? He sucks, lol. But anyway, it seems you’re high on him so I look forward to seeing what you do with him.

Looking back on it, I also realized the Kozlov segment was a bit much, but I wanted to bring up a wrestler to have a pretty deep and complex backstory and a complex character. Because of his backstory and what I have planned for him later, he won't be another generic monster heel or another generic foreign heel. Also I chose Kozlov since he's the only Eastern European wrestler I could think of lol.

So what exactly did the Mysterio/Cara/Team Hell No match accomplish? You always want a match to advance a story so this match just seemed useless.

Right now, it seems like the tag team match between Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio vs Team Hell No was just a random pointless match, but later on you will see that it's part of big storyline.

The main reason Ziggler wasn't a huge part a Raw tonight, and most likely from now on is because I'm trying to make Smackdown seem important again, and Smackdown will be the WHC show. With the biggest stars from Smackdown appearing on every Raw, it will make it seem like there's no reason to watch Smackdown. Ziggler and future WHC champions will still appear on Raw, but not as much as like it is right now in real life.

The Fandango/Jericho feud is fine, I like that you’re not letting them get physical as of yet. Let the fuel burn more between them then let them fight. Alberto Del Rio is seen on the titantron in the locker room with Ricardo Rodriguez.

Del Rio: Hey Ricardo, I think it's best for you to stay here in the locker while I face Jack Swagger later tonight on Smackdown. If you stand at ringside, then I'm afraid that Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter might hurt you. You already have a broken leg, and that's my fault, but I don't want to see you get injured any worse than you are right now.

Ricardo: Relax Alberto, I understand that you don't want me at ringside because of what Jack Swagger might do to me, but I'm prepared for whatever tricks him and Zeb Colter have to attack me with. Since you are really concerned about my health, I'll stay here in the locker room, and watch the match from here. Tonight don't worry about me at all, you need to focus on beating Jack Swagger.

Del Rio: Thanks Ricardo. You've been a really good friend to me.

Del Rio leaves the locker room area, as Ricardo watches him leave.

Dolph Ziggler walks down the ramp with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist and enters the ring, receiving a largely negative reaction from the crowd. Big E Langston and AJ Lee also enters the ring with Dolph Ziggler. Dolph Ziggler gets a mic, and talks.

Ziggler: Hello everyone, and welcome to FRIDAY NIGHT ZIGGLER!!!!

The crowd gives Ziggler heat after saying that.

Ziggler: Since I am the World Heavyweight Champion, Friday Night Smackdown is my show! Each and every single week, I will open and close this show. I will headline and main event this show. I will steal the show and show the world why Dolph Ziggler will never lose his World Heavyweight Title to anyone on this damn roster. Tonight, I will be ringside at the announcers table closely watching the match between Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger because I have to let both of these guys know who they are going to be dealing with at the Extreme Rules pay per view. Because at Extreme Rules, Alberto Del Rio or Jack Swagger will be dealing with “ Former Mr. Money in the Bank turned into World Heavyweight Champion”, “The Show Stealing Show Off,” Dolp...

“Rap Sheet” plays as the General Manager of Friday Night Smackdown, Booker T walks out onto the stage. Booker T salutes to the crowd, and receives a big pop in return.

Booker T: Now hold on man, Smackdown isn't your show. It's my show, and Dolph Ziggler you won't have an easy night tonight because you will be in a match tonight.

Ziggler throws a fit in the ring.

Booker T: Calm down, I'm not finished yet. Your opponent will be against someone who hasn't competed on WWE TV for over a year, and he will be making his return to the WWE to face you. Your opponent is.......

“Born To Win” plays as Evan Bourne makes his way out onto the stage. Bourne receives a nice pop from the crowd.

Booker T: EVAN BOURNE! And the match starts right now!

Evan Bourne shakes Booker T's hand, and walks down the ramp. Bourne salutes to the fans and enters the ring, as Dolph Ziggler takes his shirt off. Big E Langston and AJ exits the ring.

Matthews: Oh my god! Evan Bourne has made his return to WWE action on Friday Night Smackdown. He's been out for over a year due to an injury he suffered in a motorcycle crash.

Striker: Wow Evan looks a lot more ripped than he was before. I wonder how this will affect his performance in the ring.

Matthews: What an amazing match we just saw between Bourne and Ziggler. Along with his bigger body, it seems like Bourne also has a new set of moves, and they are damn good.

Striker: I thought that driver that Bourne did at the near end of the match would end it, but Bourne made a costly mistake by going for the Shooting Star Press again, instead of going for the pin.

Matthews: True, but he did give the World Heavyweight Champion one hell of a match. Nice to see Bourne back on WWE TV again. Stay tuned as we head to a commercial break.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Smackdown returns from a commercial break, by showing Kozlov's vignette from Monday Night Raw.

A man with a thick Russian accent begins to talk with the screen still black. “What you are about to see is man who used to be proud of his country. A man that used to wrestle here in WWE, and provided entertainment for all of you. He marched down the ring showing his pride to Russia. He made children in the audience smile every time he came out the ring with Santino Marella. His career in the WWE was short lived, and he returned home to Russia after his WWE career had ended. Many of you aren't aware that before his WWE career, Vladimir Kozlov was a highly decorated military soldier.” The titantron showed pictures of Vladimir Kozlov in a military uniform. “I cannot mention his rank or the awards that he received, but I when I met Vladimir in the military, I saw that Kozlov was a brutal and cold killing machine. He had no problem with exterminating the opposition, which led him to become one of the best soldiers the Soviets were able to have.” The titantron show pictures of him with his wife. “What changed Vladimir after the military was that he settled down. He turned from a killing machine into a family man. He was one of the nicest people you could know.” The titantron goes back to black. “That was until about a year ago, when Vladimir had discovered that his wife had been murdered. This incident brought Vladimir back to the brutal killing machine he was. I cannot explain what Vladimir did to the people who murdered his wife, but lets just say that they are in a fiery place right now. Kozlov will return to WWE as the most vicious beast that anyone has every seen. Kozlov will dominate the opposition and terrorize the competition when he returns, and Kozlov will return will one ultimate goal. That goal is vengeance, and if anyone gets in his way, they will meet the same fate as the murderers.” The titantron ends by showing Vladimir Kozlov's cold stern face in black and white.

Evan Bourne is shown on the titantron in the backstage area with Kofi Kingston.

Kofi: It's nice to see you here again Evan. I was worried that you would never make it back to the WWE since your injury seemed pretty serious, but I don't have to worry about that anymore.

Bourne: It took lots of hard work and training to get where I'm at right now, and I feel that I'm in the best shape in my life right now. I don't want this opportunity that I have now to go to waste, so I'm going to give all I got to get a title shot here.

Kofi: That's what I like to here. How about we reunite Air Boom and go for tag team gold?

Bourne: That sounds like a good idea, but I don't want to jump into tag team action too quickly. You see, I...

“Realeza V2” plays as Alberto Del Rio walks out onto the stage to a nice pop. Del Rio walks down the ramp without Ricardo Rodriguez, and salutes the crowd. Del Rio enters the ring, and waits for his opponent to come out.

Matthews: If you are wondering where Ricardo Rodriguez is, Alberto Del Rio told Ricardo to stay backstage at the beginning of the show to avoid any trouble with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter.

Striker: That's probably the smartest thing for Ricardo to do. Anyways, I'm excited for this No Disqualification match that is about to happen here on Smackdown. It's the perfect way to set the tone for Extreme Rules, and not only that, but Del Rio and Swagger are bitter rivals, so this should be a pretty extreme match.

Matthews: Indeed.

“Patriot” plays, but Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter doesn't show up. Del Rio and the crowd starts to wonder where Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter are. Del Rio waits in the ring for a bit longer, and Swagger and Colter still doesn't come out to the ring. Suddenly, Zeb Colter is shown on the titantron in the locker room backstage with Jack Swagger behind him, and Ricardo Rodriguez laying on the floor in pain.

Colter: Del Rio! Since you and Ricardo refuse to go back across the border where you belong on your own will, we'll just have to beat you back across the border, starting with your friend Ricardo Rodriguez.

Swagger grabs a steel chair, as Ricardo says “Please don't hurt me anymore! Please show some mercy!” Swagger repeatedly beats Ricardo with the steel chair five times as Ricardo yells in pain.

A furious Del Rio starts to leave the ring to go after Swagger and Colter.

Colter: Hold it Del Rio! Don't you move! If you come looking for us, then we'll make your friend's life a living hell. We wouldn't have to do this to poor Ricardo if you both stayed in Mexico, and didn't leech over here illegally to the great United States of America. Swagger, go ahead an beat Ricardo some more.

Swagger beats Ricardo with the chair some more, and then braces the chair around Ricardo's injured ankle.

Del Rio starts to exit the ring again.

Colter: Think about the consequences if you leave that ring Del Rio!

Ricardo tries to get his ankle out of the chair brace, but Swagger punches Ricardo in the head to make him stay down. Del Rio exits the ring and goes backstage to save Ricardo, as Colter gives Swagger the order to injure Ricardo. Swagger, Colter, and Ricardo are seen near a black car, with Ricardo laying down on the ground with his leg resting on seat of the car inside. Swagger repeatedly slams the car door onto Ricardo's leg, as Del Rio rushes over to save Ricardo. Colter tries to stop Del Rio, but Del Rio jabs Colter in the stomach with the steel pipe. Del Rio starts to beat down Colter with the pipe until Swagger tackles down Del Rio. Swagger mounts punches on Del Rio's head, and then grabs the steel pipe that Del Rio has used earlier. Swagger violently wacks the steel pipe all over Del Rio's body for about 8 times. Swagger, then stands up Del Rio, and leads him to car. Swagger grabs onto Del Rio's head, and slams it into the car window, completely shattering it. The crowd is shocked, and is filled with concern for Del Rio, as Swagger drags Del Rio out of the parking lot, through backstage, and out to ringside. Swagger picks up Del Rio, pushes him into the ring, and enters the ring. Swagger waits for Del Rio to get up, as the ref asks Del Rio if he wants to start the match. Del Rio says “Yes”, and the bell rings.

Matthews: Tonight, Alberto Del Rio proved to be a true warrior inside of the ring, as he dedicated this match towards his best friend, Ricardo Rodriguez.

Striker: After that match, I have a new found respect for both men, especially for Del Rio. This match was an all out war, as both, Swagger and Del Rio, wanted to make each other go through hell in this No Disqualification Match. The after tonight's match is how badly injured Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio are? Del Rio will have a title match against the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler at Extreme Rules, and to beat Ziggler, Del Rio needs to be at 100%.

Matthews: That's true, and we will have an update on both, Swagger and Del Rio's condition soon on WWE.com. Stay tuned as Smackdown continues.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Smackdown is back on air, as the titantron shows WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat talking to his son Richie Steamboat in the locker room.

Ricky: You've come a long way Richie, and tonight is the night where you make your impact here in the WWE. You already proved yourself that you belong here by becoming one of the top developmental talents on NXT. Now it's time to take your skill and showcase your talent to the world.

Richie: Ok I'll see you at ringside.

Richie Steamboat leaves the locker room area as Ricky watches him leave. Wade Barrett, the Intercontinental Champion, walks up behind Ricky Steamboat.

Barrett: Well, well, well. Looks like another fresh newcomer is making his debut here in the WWE.

Ricky: What do you want Wade?

Barrett: I'm just here to remind you that if I had knocked you out cold with the Bullhammer Elbow in our encounter with each other on Raw awhile back, then you would be laying on a hospital bed on life support. I find it very sad and pathetic that your son has to hide behind a senile old man like yourself to make it in the WWE. If you weren't here right now, your son would've been packing his bags back to NXT, where he belongs.

Ricky: You know what Wade, If I was 20 years younger, or maybe even if I was 10 years younger, I would beat the living hell out of you right now. I have to ask what's your problem with these NXT prospects? What do you have against me and my son?

Barrett: What I have against those green rookies is that they haven't went through any of the things I've gone through in my life time. I fought on bloody streets of the roughest and darkest areas of Europe against some of the most ruthless men on this planet. At one point of my life, I nearly died out on the middle of the street due to a coward with a knife tried to take my prize money from beating one of the top barenuckle fighters in the world. These NXT rookies wouldn't survive a second of what I went through in my life. What these idiots do is they spend thousands of dollars on wrestling school, like Bo Dallas, learn how to wrestle, and now they think they can beat anyone down, and in other cases, these rookies were descended from wrestlers, like your son, and think that they've inherited the ability to wrestle. I'm the Intercontinental Champion for a reason Ricky, and I can make your son's life a living hell if I wanted to. Maybe it'll be a good thing having me beat down your son worse than the coward who tried to kill me with a knife. It'll send a strong message to the current NXT rookies saying that they need to toughen up.

Ricky: I swear if you lay a single hand on my son tonight, or mess with anyone else from my family...

Barrett: Or what old man? Beat me with a walking cane and call me a whipper snapper? Your lucky that your still standing on your two feet right now because I could've made this encounter between you and me right now get really violent. Now I suggest that you get out of out of my way right now, and go watch your son's match or I'll make what I just said a reality.

Ricky Steamboat looks at Wade Barrett for a little while with disgust, and then leaves the locker room, as Wade Barrett smiles.

“More Than One Man” plays as a confident Heath Slater walks out onto the stage, and receives some heat from the crowd. Slater air guitars his way down the ramp, and enters the ring. Slater air guitars once more in the ring, and then waits for his opponent to come out.

Matthews: The reason why Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal aren't here with Slater tonight is that Slater told Mahal and McIntyre that he didn't need any help from them tonight since he was facing against a new comer.

Striker: Hey I'm a 3MB fan, but it seems like Slater is a bit over-confident tonight as he will face off against the debuting Richie Steamboat.

Matthews: Wait, you're a 3MB fan? You might be the only 3MB fan on this planet.

Striker: And I'm proud to be one too.

“Resistance to Resilience” by Reluctant Hero plays as a charismatic Ricky Steamboat makes his way out onto the stage, with his father Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat receiving a nice pop from the crowd. Richie Steamboat walks down the ramp, and enters the ring, as his father watches him from ringside. Richie waits for the match to start.

Matthews: This match here will mark the debut of Richie Steamboat, and a few minutes ago, we've seen his father get into a bit of trouble with Wade Barrett, the Intercontinental Champion.

Striker: Even though Barrett seemed to be a little disrespectful towards a WWE Hall of Famer, he's right about he said about today's NXT rookies. I think that these new guys need to toughen up a bit, and Wade Barrett is the perfect guy who can do that.

MATCH 4: RICHIE STEAMBOAT VS HEATH SLATER

The bell rings for the match to start. Richie and Slater lock up with each other to start the match off. Slater easily gets Richie into a side headlock, but Richie pushes Slater off of him into the ropes. Slater bounces off of the ropes, and goes for a clothesline, but Steamboat ducks clothesline, bounces off of the ropes, and hits a high dropkick to Slater's head, knocking Slater down to the mat. Slater tries to get up, but Richie knocks him down with a shoulder block. Slater gets up again, and Richie knocks him down with another shoulder block. Slater tries to get up again, but Richie grabs Heath Slater, and delivers an impressive Falcon Arrow to him. Richie Steamboat goes for the pin.

And the winner of the match by pinfall...... RICHIE STEAMBOAT!

Matthews: What a nice win for Richie Steamboat. Getting a win on his debut match shows that the future is very bright for this young star.

Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat enters the ring to celebrate with his son Richie, until Wade Barrett walks out onto the stage, giving Richie Steamboat a slow applause. Barrett stands on the stage smiling with his arms folded, while Richie and Ricky stare at Barrett with discontented looks on their faces.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Smackdown resumes with a video of the backstage area being shown. The camera that is laying on the ground is picked up by Dean Ambrose of The Shield.

Ambrose: We don't need to introduce to you who we are. You all already know that were the most destructive force that the WWE has ever seen. Team Hell No, after this past Monday Night on Raw you think that you now have the upper hand on us because you came out to save The Undertaker? If you two, along with Taker, truly believe that you have us backed up into a corner, well you guys can be nothing more than wrong. And to prove that we are the biggest threats in ending your reign of injustice on the WWE, we are issuing a challenge for the tag team titles at Extreme Rules in a 6 Man Tag Team Match. The Shield vs Kane, Daniel Bryan.....and The Undertaker.

Reigns: And that's not all we have in store for you Team Hell No and Undertaker.

Rollins: We are also issuing another challenge to you that we like to call “The Shield Challenge”. On Monday Night Raw, I'll go against Daniel Bryan.

Ambrose: And I'll go against the so called “Big Red Monster” Kane.

Reigns: And on Friday Night Smackdown, I'll go against you Taker.

Ambrose: Now you guys don't have to accept the challenge. You can cower away and decline the challenge, or you can challenge the validity of justice, only to learn that justice prevails over EVERYTHING!

Rollins: You have until Monday Night Raw to accept or decline our challenge.
Reigns: Believe in The Shield!

Ambrose puts the camera back on the floor, and The Shield walks away from the area.

“Voices” plays as Randy Orton walks out onto the stage, receiving a thunderous positive reaction from the crowd. Randy Orton slowly walks down the ramp with a emotionless look on his face, and enters the ring. Orton climbs to the top turnbuckle, and does his signature pose. Orton climbs down from the top turnbuckle, and waits for his partner.

Matthews: And here it is. The main event for tonight's Smackdown is about to take place, and the team of Randy Orton and Sheamus, aka the Celtic Vipers, will go against the strongest and largest athletes in the world, Mark Henry and Big Show.

Striker: Orton and Sheamus have been functioning well as a team together ever since they united with each other to face against The Shield at Wrestlemania, but I wonder if they can get the job done tonight as they will face against what I like to call Show and Henry “The Twin Towers”.

“Written On My Face” plays as Sheamus walks out onto the stage, also receiving a huge positive reaction from the crowd, beats his chest, and then spreads his arms open shouting “FELLA!” Sheamus walks down the ramp with a slight grin on his face, and enters the ring. Sheamus shakes hands with Randy Orton, and the both of them waits for their opponents to come out.

“Somebodies Gonna Get It” plays as the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry walks out onto the stage with the camera facing to his back, receiving huge heat from the crowd. Mark Henry slowly walks down the ramp with a mean look on his face, and stops at ringside. Henry shouts “Y'all don't want none of this yet!” at Sheamus and Randy Orton, as Orton and Sheamus look back at Henry.

Striker: Looks like Mark Henry is already having some fun with his opponents before the match has even started. Some may argue that Henry shouldn't tease around with his opponents like that before matches, but what they critics forget to realize is that Mark Henry is the World's Strongest Man, and he can dominate anyone in the ring, including Randy Orton and Sheamus.

Matthews: I agree that Henry is the strongest man in the WWE, but you are say that he can easily dominate Randy Orton and Sheamus tonight? We will see if that's true in a few minutes.

“Crank It Up” plays as the Big Show walks out onto the stage, also receiving huge heat from the crowd. Big Show walks down the ramp, and enters the ring with Mark Henry. The referee tries to keep Show/Henry and Orton/Sheamus separated before the match starts, as the two teams starts to get a bit aggressive each other before things kicks off.

MATCH 5: SHEAMUS AND RANDY ORTON VS BIG SHOW AND MARK HENRY TAG TEAM MATCH

Sheamus and Mark Henry are inside the ring to start things off. Sheamus engages in a lock up with Mark Henry, and the two struggles to get any type of control on each other. After what seems to be a stalemate in the lock up, Mark Henry is able to get the upper hand on Sheamus in the lock up, and transitions into a rear waistlock. Henry, then picks up Sheamus off of his feet, and delivers a belly to back suplex to Sheamus. Sheamus holds his stomach, showing signs of some pain, and uses the ropes to get up. Henry walks over to Sheamus, and shoves him into the corner. Henry repeatedly rams his shoulder into Sheamus's stomach, and then backs up. Henry charges at Sheamus, and hits a corner splash on Sheamus, crushing him. Henry goes for the pin.

Sheamus kicks out of the pin at two, and tries to get up, but Mark Henry picks up Sheamus again, and applies a bear hug to him. Sheamus starts loses his breath, and starts to lose consciousness as he is in the bear hug. Sheamus uses the last ounce of strength that he has to get out of the bear hug, by elbowing Mark Henry in the head, but Henry converts the bear hug into a powerful spinebuster. Henry goes for the pin again.

Sheamus kicks out of the pin at 2 ½. Sheamus crawls over to the corner as Orton has his hand stretched out for the tag, but Henry drags Sheamus all the way to the other side of the ring, and tags Big Show in. Henry stands up Sheamus, and grabs the both of his arms from behind, as Big Show delivers a couple of powerful jabs to Sheamus's stomach. Mark Henry lets go of Sheamus, and exits the ring, as Big Show puts Sheamus into the corner, and shushes the crowd. Big Show, then delivers a huge slap to Sheamus's chest, knocking Sheamus down onto the mat. Sheamus holds his visibly crimson chest in pain, as Big Show steps onto Sheamus's chest, and walks on his chest. Big Show, then runs and bounces off of the ropes, and goes for a splash, but Sheamus moves out of the way at the last second. Big Show holds his stomach in pain as Sheamus slowly gets up. Big Show get up, but Sheamus drives Big Show in to the corner, using his shoulder, and rams Big Show in the gut three times using his shoulder. Sheamus, then grabs the Big Show, and attempts a White Noise on Big Show. Sheamus struggles a bit on executing the White Noise on a 500 pound giant, but he still successfully hits the move on Big Show. Sheamus goes to his corner, and tags in Randy Orton. Orton violently pounds on the mat with a bitter and venomous look, and waits for Big Show to get up. Big Show gets up, and Orton goes for the RKO, but Big Show pushes Orton off of him. Orton quickly gets up off of the mat, but Big Show goes for the WMD. Orton ducks the WMD, bounces off of the ropes, and hits an RKO out of nowhere on Big Show. Orton goes for the pin.

Mark Henry breaks up the pin, as he entered the ring immediately after Orton went for the pin. Sheamus quickly enters the ring, and clotheslines Mark Henry out of the ring. Sheamus exits the ring as Orton pounds on the mat again, setting up for a second RKO on Big Show, but Sheamus tags Orton's foot, while Orton was pounding on the mat. Sheamus tries to go after the Big Show, but Orton stops Sheamus, and argues with him about blind tagging him. At the end of the argument between the two, Orton is heard saying “Forget it” and leaves the ring, while a confused Sheamus looks at Orton. Orton slowly heads up the ramp, while Sheamus is pissed off at him. Big Show gets up, turns Sheamus around, and hits the WMD right in the jaw of Sheamus. Sheamus falls out onto the mat out cold, and Big Show goes for the pin.

And the winner of the match by pinfall.....BIG SHOW AND MARK HENRY!

Orton watches what just happened from on top of the stage, and then heads backstage, as Sheamus lays in the ring unconscious, and Big Show and Mark Henry celebrate their victory.

Matthews: You have got to be kidding me! Randy Orton ditched his own teammate, and left him there to fend for himself.

Striker: Sheamus got what he had deserved. If he never made the blind tag to Orton, then they might have possibly won the match.

Matthews: But that shouldn't be a good enough reason to ditch your partner in the ring like that. The question after tonight is that what will happen to the friendship that developed between Sheamus and Randy Orton? Find out on next week's episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

END OF SHOW

GCB FEEDBACK (SMACKDOWN):

OK, mate, feedback time. Start with basics: formatting is OK, I do like the use of quotes for the matches - I use them too - but I think the promos could use a bold or two colours to make it clear. You'll develop your format over time and it'll improve as you go.

Your match writing is solid enough - just enough detail for the TV shows although I, personally, prefer to see a bit more detail for the main event. I expect more for PPV matches as well. I'd look at the way you show pinfalls. Bold it, centre it, do something with it to make it look better than it does.

Promos are hit and miss - you nailed Barrett quite well but your Del Rio and Ricardo was, honestly, awful. Couldn't hear him saying that at all, particularly RR. Again, you'll get better at these the more you do them but try to read it back and listen to it in the voice of the guy saying it if you can.

The actual show. I'm not sure that starting with a simple conversation between ADR and RR was the way to start a show; to go on before the pyro/credits, it needed to be a really big piece of information for me. It also kinda made it too obvious that something was going to happen to Ricardo when ADR left him, surprise element lost.

Good to see Bourne back, you made him look good on return though I wouldn't have had him lose his first match back. But Ziggler needed the win too so it was the booking here. Bourne now needs some big wins and fast, maybe a good feud. EDIT: the Big E Langston thing could be fun.

Kozlov's vignette was good, I liked it. I didn't mind Kozlov as a heel, hated his babyface gimmick with Santino though. If he ploughs through people and is a mean ass kicking heel, that is good for me. One tip here though: did you need to put murder into it?

Didn't like the way Kofi protected Jericho, made Y2J look weak. IMO. Big E and Ziggler targeting Kofi and Bourne was interesting, is Kofi moving up to the main event? Hmm. I'd like to see but he'd need building. (and that is my copyright, I think you'll find! :D )

As I said before, Zeb/Swagger's attack on Ricardo was signposted a mile off. The attack to ADR when he went backstage gave away the ending of the match there too. There was no way you weren't having ADR win against all odds with all that before it! Sometimes, it is obvious where you're going but you have to try and keep people guessing. I don't think you got this storyline right in this show tonight. ADR should face Ziggler now I guess, I'm not sold on that. IT'll need something creative, mate. Ziggler has to go over and face Mr. Orton ...

Which brings me to the main event. In a moment, anyway. First off, I like the use of Barrett as a guy who "welcomes" the rookies into the WWE - Bo Dallas and Richie Steamboat for starters. However, you're painting yourself into a corner. Either the rookies win or Barrett wins. If the rookies win, Barrett's star will fade. If Barrett wins, the rookies don't get the big win to kickstart their careers. Tough one. I'd have 3MB in the role of losing to rookies - it could give one of 3MB, i.e. Drew Mc, a reason to split from the band too - rather than a guy like Barrett. Also, the father/son thing is done too much. IMO. Again.

Main event - no build for it in the show. Mistake. I never realised it was the main event until the END OF SHOW thing after it. The main event should be the exciting match of the night that you've built to in some way. Orton's heel turn is good, I wanted to see it IRL, but it wasn't as impactful because there was no build. Where was the Sheamus/Orton conversation backstage, where was the announcement of the main event? Orton turning on Sheamus = Orton vs. Sheamus at Extreme Rules but now what happens with Henry and Show?

Overall, a good start with a lot of promise. Things to work on though. Hope this helps.
