This is really where we need Sly to explain to you about the "at the Mod's Discretion".

Flaming is more allowed in the bar room than any other section of the forum. But that doesn't mean you can openly bitch and moan about any one person. It just means that you can shit back and forth with people, and not worry about it being taken as seriously.

Besides all that, that comment was wrote in there long before well over half of us were even members. Only hardcases don't get the general format of the rules, and that's simply because they don't wish to try.

So don't be one of them.. try.

I can't say I disagree with your complaints here. I think you have reasonable concern.

All I will say is that, instead of getting of getting upset with this, just make sure you always include a reason with your post. And never make a post off-topic. If you wish to correct a point, then make sure you tie it back to the topic of the thread.

Like I said, I think you might be getting a raw deal here, but you just have to try and ignore it and do whatever these people want you to do.
