WTF is a British Accent?

Lee

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Supermod!
What ho pip pip?

There's no such thing as a 'British accent' so next time some American tells me "Gee I love your British accent!" I'll say "hadaway man Jackie pet, am a geordie, ya reet freak!"

Female's with a british accent is so sexy. Its not the words, just the way you say them. You think I have an accent right? YOU dont see it, because your british. Just like I don't notice an Aussie one. its there, but you can't see it.

No, my point is there are quite a huge number of different accents in the UK...Me, Sam, Becca, Polley, Luther and Jake for example would all have different accents, despite all being British.

As an American, I must say, I adore any foreign accent, with a few exceptions. Foremost amongst them, any of the accents from the UK, whichever it may be. Also, on a related note, we get that accent crap over here as well, even though different areas have their own.

Since Polley, is Irish, we'd say he has an Irish accent, but I get your point. It's a generalization. Right or not, it's a lot easier to say "British accent" than it is to break it down into regions, when most of us have never been to the UK.

Yup. What he said. We have rednecks, city-folk, southerners, ebonics, and a whole list of others.

Obviously you haven't heard Leeds accent.

Any women I've heard with any sort of accent from the UK, tends to be sexy. Of course, I have no clue where any of them are from. And, on the contrary, I've yet to find a guy with a good English accent.

:lmao: That would be the funnies part about American accents. instead of saying Brisbane they put a Y in it. everytime JR says it, I can't help but laugh.

J.R. saying Mos-cow and Glas-gow. Annoys the hell out of me.

Anyways, there are many different accents in the UK, Geordie is like a completely different language to the rest of the country, Hull's is rough as hell, in the rest of Yorkshire they say "teh" and don't get me started on the fucking Welsh...

But say, British accents are similar. Compare a British to a British, and a British to an Aussie accent. What's going to be more similar?
