[Uncle Sam]

Inspired partly by JGlass' self-important ramblings and partly by Vega's epic ten man poll of the greatest of all-time, I've decided to conduct something of an experiment. I'll be attempting to create two separate top ten lists by polling the WZ faithful - an all-time list and a currently active list. The nitty gritty is as follows:

1. One all-time list and one currently active list per person; two lists total. If you wish to edit your list(s), you obviously can't do that after thirty minutes anymore. Simply post your altered list(s) in a separate post and say you would like to have your previous ballot(s) overwritten.
2. You must have a post count of at least 20 to participate, otherwise your ballot will not be counted.
3. There can be overlap between lists. There's no reason your all-time list can't all be currently active wrestlers, for example.
4. There are few restraints on the all-time list. Any era, any promotion, any country, any gender. As long as they've had at least one match - and you can prove it - feel free to slap them on there. Managers, announcers and the like that have never actually had a match don't count.
5. For a wrestler to qualify for the currently active list, they must have wrestled at least one professional wrestling match in the last six months. July 20th, 2011 is the cut-off point for this. If you're unsure if someone counts, ask.
6. However, like the all-time list, they can be from any country, gender or promotion. Just not any era, obviously.
7. Points will be allocated as follows for both lists:
   
   1. Wrestler A ; 4 points
   2. Wrestler B ; 3 points
   3. Wrestler C ; 3 points
   4. Wrestler D ; 2 points
   5. Wrestler E ; 2 points
   6. Wrestler F ; 2 points
   7. Wrestler G ; 1 point
   8. Wrestler H ; 1 point
   9. Wrestler I ; 1 point
   10. Wrestler J ; 1 point
   
   Feel free to make honourable mentions, though they will receive no points.
8. Voting ends on the 5th of February at midnight, GMT. I'll then tally the votes and reveal the two lists.
9. Feel free to leave reasons and such. You won't receive a bump to your post count but D-Man might press his erection against the back of your leg.

Meh. You can't get too mad about stuff like this, everyone has different opinions and measures greatness differently. Some will go with who made the most money, others will go with overall ability or straight up technical wrestling. Greatness is measured in many different ways.

This thread is nothing to do with "greatness". It's to do with who people like.

I know Daniel Bryan isn't the best wrestler in the world. But he's certainly my favourite.
