Wrestlers you wish had a 2nd chance

There are three that I can think of right now,

1-Jericho, he's got some of the best promos and also one of the most entertaining guys I've ever seen in a WWE ring. I'd like to see him come back and renew a rivalry with Benoit, if you look back and watch some of their matches from when they first came to WWE around WM16 they are some of the best matches of that time

2-Brock Lesnar, this guy probably had the brightest future of anyone in WWE he was great when he was face but even better he when he was heel, remember when he broke Zack Gowens leg?, and when he pushed him down the stairs in his wheel chair?, I would love to him face Triple H on PPV I saw them fight at a house show shortly after Unforgiven 2001 I think, also him vs. Orton, Edge, and Benoit would also be good

3- and finally Bret Hart, IMO he really is the best their is the best there was and ddthe best there ever will be, I like to see him come back at a suvivore series and go one on one with Vince, then move on and and make HBK tap out in San Antonio, then go to WM and face either Benoit or Y2J for his final match, if that where to happen I would be a very happy wrestling fan

Unfortunately, Benoit doesn't fit at all with what the WWE is producing right now. Either these guys brawl, fly, or overpower people. Very few wrestlers on the rosters have much technical ability beyond Finlay and Regal. Plus, WWE push mic-skills more than wrestling ability, and with this being said, Benoit's kind of screwed.

I'm thinking there's only one place for him to get his 2nd chance, and that's TNA. Maybe one day...
I look at Smackdown and I see two of the best wrestlers to come out of the last decade in Booker T and Benoit. Booker has been saddled with a pathetic attempt at comedy for a gimmick. Benoit is languishing down in the Tito Santana-zone fighting for a belt he was elevated squarely past in 2004. These two guys should be their old selves wrestling their kind of match for the title. Solid matches bring back prestige to titles, not the "creative" storylines they've been s***ting out these last couple of years. I can only pray he's allowed out of his contract. Hell, if I was Dixie Carter, I'd pay whatever I could to buy him out if that was an option. He's not getting any younger, and his body is a little less of what it was before this last layoff, so I don't see him going up in ability anymore (not that he really needs to) but when you're at the top of your game, the only place you can go is down.

I hear you loud and clear. Jericho is another one of the most wasted talents in the entire business. He's the total package in terms of his worth: technical ability, selling ability, athleticism, and mic skills/personality. Too bad he wanted to be in a rock band instead of starring in a s***ty movie called The Marine or he'd still be on top in the WWE.

i dont know if you can really give jericho a second chance because he left on good terms and is returning sometime. if were including those guys then guys like ultimo dragon and masato tanaka would be a few.

Id like to have seen the wwe try and give Konnan another shot at the big time when wcw would up. The guy had (and still does) have it all, he is so over with the fans and its a crying shame the wwe/f couldnt give possibly one of the finest talents of his generation nothing more than a martian gimmick.
Also, guys like ahmed johnson, who could have been then next big thing, though it just didnt work out for him. I used to be really into his character, and thought he could have, one day, been world champ.
