i dont see Matt Hardy gettin his match with MVP now, so unless theyre saving that up for after mania he could make his return in this match winning the battle royal , he may lose but i see him making a great return.. it probably wont happen, itd be good to see some one like Rhodes, Kingston or Wang yang win it (the battle royak) to give them good exposure, i dont see chavo losing on the night but who ever he faces will probably be his next feud in the months after mania

The Battle Royal is a great idea.
Kane will most likely win the match and then defeat Chavo Guerrero to become ECW Champion. I would be all for it. He deserves the title and his reign would garner interest for ECW.
And if he does win the gold, he just might get the loudest pop of the night.

I think Kane might win this and winning the belt on the night - Kane isn't in any matches yet and usually on the WrestleMania Card. Will get a well deserved "World Title" and establishing a decent champion. Chavo is just to bland to be the champ. Maybe have Kane fued with Big Show over the belt.

Poor Kane has been reduced to being in ECW about once every two weeks. The man has put in a lot of years of service to the WWE, and had only a one day title reign 10 years ago. I know the ECW Championship is pretty much on the same level as the Intercontinental/US Titles, but if anyone deserves a reign, it would be him.
My other two choices would be Tommy Dreamer and Colin Delaney. Dreamer is the only ECW Original that still matters, and it would be great to see the consummate stand-up guy get one last reign with the ECW Title. He got screwed out of a great match with CM Punk back when he won that tournament a few months ago when Big Daddy V stepped in. He still gets over big, and it would make a nice Wrestlemania moment if he won.

Love to see Val hold a belt again - but Kane has this match hands down and will become champion (hopefully) - Kane vs Val Venis over the belt would improve ECW if anything.
Tommy Dreamer might have a chance of winning this - but won't beat Chavo. Maybe build up to Summerslam with Tommy just coming up short everytime then win at Summerslam to replicate his fued with Raven. Except this time he will hold the belt more than 30 mins.

The MITB match will probably add Matt Hardy and CM Punk as the last two participants, which basically leaves Kane as the only credible guy to face Chavo for the ECW title, Burke is a good choice too, but WWE is not going to have a heel vs heel match at Mania'. I do see Kane winning this and beating Chavo for the ECW title, then I bet there will be a tag team main event match on the SmackDown after WM24 with the Brothers Of Destruction vs the former ECW and World Champions Edge and Chavo, so predictable lol.

I can't say I care for this match at all, and think it's pretty much filler. First off, come Chavo defending his title in the match, it isn't going to mean anything. He's not going to have had any build up with the winner of this battle royal going into this match. Which gives me the idea that they just need an extra match to fill the card with.
Secondly, we know how predictable this is going to be. All these mid-carders are going to get eliminated in the first few minutes and come the final few, there's going to be a few big guys left.

In my mind Kane is the only one that truely deserves a shot at winning the Ecw Title, but lets be really here I dont mean to offend anyone we all know that the Great Khali will probally end up winning it heres the facts if you didnt notice after the battle royal was announced the Gm told everyone that this man will be in the battle royal and The Great Khali came out and destoryed Stevie Richards in a matter of seconds, with Khali being a Big Deal over in India what better way to have them keep tuning in then to have him win the Ecw Title that way he maintains being a big deal . To Clarifty it for some of you who said something about CM Punk possible being in the MITB, if you watched on Ecw this week, you would know he qaulifyed so he's already in.
This is brilliant concept. Mania comes only once a year and to have only 8 matches is absurd. This will be a great way to kick off the night and then have another title defended on the show. I'm guessing there will be some surprise entrants and one of them might win. If Matt Hardy isn't added to MITB I'm guessing it would be him, although they really should resolve his fued with MVP.

I was thinking the same thing, except for Ron Killings. It said on the main site that WWE suddenly pulled him from all AAA bookings. The only thing wrong with this though, is im not sure if they would debut him on a show with a somewhat simular looking guy, in Kofi Kingston (AND Elijah Burke??)...Im thinking possible suprise debuts for Harris and Killings. But at the same time, im not real sure WERE they will put Killings if not ECW/SD...I see the possible formation of a stable...anyway though, I could certainley see some suprise debuts here, as the entrants are being kept a secret, and probably for a reason.
I really wouldn't expect Killings to go to ECW. They already have Kingston and Burke. I really don't think ECW needs another black guy. Especially one with less charisma than the other two.
Although that's not to say he won't participate in the match. He might. I just don't think he'll win.

The best thing about this match in terms of the WWE is they have a chance to showcase ECW and set up a new feud on the biggest stage of them all which could garner some much needed intrest in ECW.
I would like to see Kane win the batte royal, but at the same time I would expect him too, therefore I would also like to see someone i never would expect to win go over. In a dream world I would have William Regal win as I would like to see him back wrestling again and I think he has gotten stale as Raw GM.

I would love to see Kofi Kingston be in this just to see the guy in his first WM, but its also probably too early for him to win the ECW title, but I also don't want to see Kofi's first loss yet either....so I'm torn....enter this and lose or not see him in this Wrestlemania at all.
This match is great for the WWE in my mind. they showcase all they're guys and this match is where the younger guys will get to show what they've got and possibly get over well with the crowd. Id love to see Kane win the match, and take the ECW strap, the guy deserves it more than anyone. My second choice to win the match would be Kofi Kingston, ill say it right now give this kid 2 years he'll be a hugeeeee superstar, he has good charisma and i watched some promos he cut on youtube they arent half bad. Him and Elijah Burke are gonna be big time players in the WWE over the next few years.

Kane will win it. It would be stupid for the match to go to anyone else (except maybe Matt Hardy). My reasoning is the fact that Chavo being champion rules out all the heels from winning. Then out of all the faces, the only people i can see winning are Kofi Kingston (not very likely though, give him a year or 2), Stevie Richards (again not likely but possible because he's an ECW original), Tommy Dreamer (possible but if he wins the battle royal he wont beet chavo because he doesn't wanna b champ) and that leaves Kane (incredibly likely because he knows how to be in a main event and he is well overdue for a major title reign).
Has anybody mentioned the possibility of Mick Foley being in this and ultimately winning it and end up winning the ECW title. I think it would be really cool if he did, considering he's the hardcore legend, but I highly doubt seeing Foley having a title run even if it's the ECW title.

Yeah, highly unlikely, but I'd love it. Foley is the man. Foley barely shows up anymore, and he clearly can't compete like he used to, but I'd love to see him holding another title, even if it was something as simple as only keeping it as a transitional champ for like 3 weeks.
Because this belt is some what pointless to WWE, I can see either Stevie Richards or Colin Delaney winning the Battle Royal and the title. Delaney is the whipping boy of WWE, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him 'accidently' win the Battle Royal and win the title with Dreamers help.
If anyone else wins the Battle Royal then I can see Chavo keeping the belt.
